This place made me happy, because everything here was nice and useable, and the prices were undeniable. There were a couple sour faces in the crowd and the women with the Trump case on her phone appeared to be unhappy with my dark complexion in her community, but guess what, I don't care. This mall is very large and diverse in styles and eras which I love. No one booth looks like another. The owners and staff are very friendly and are superb at creating a family like atmosphere. You can tell by the happy vendors that this is a spectacular mall to be in. We have a ton of great antique malls in the Pacific Northwest but this one remains my favorite not just because I vend here, but also because it is unique and different from any other mall I have been to. Many of the booths are so large they feel like their own store within the mall. And don't even get me started on the variety of clothes, shoes, and accessories! Not only can you find antique and vintage pieces for your collection, but there are also a ton of hard to find modern styles and pieces as well. If you don't have this mall on your map, you are totally missing out! The variety can't be beat.

We are vendors in this mall and we love it here. We have always loved to shop here too! We have a lot of awesome dealers who bring in all kinds of fun things all the time. The staff are very attentive and kind. Recently, the mall has added a few new spaces. Don't worry, they have also kept the same ones we have always loved to shop too! Overall it's a super fun mall and we are happy to be a part of it. Pop by and see for yourself! I should also mention we have expanded our parking area on the left side of the building so even on weekends there should be room for you to park now!

S&S is among one of the funkiest/fun antique places I've been to. The building itself is a cool antique, full of mystery stairs and wooden ramps which used to support Model T's, I presume. It's helpful there are in-house cats which roam, as well. I hope this place doesn't change along with some of the other nearby once-nostalgic Tacoma places.

Whoever thought having "all records $5" right next to a "records $10-$15" sign and telling me "yeah, I barely work here and don't know why that $5 sign is there" tells me one of two things. You're lying or incompetent. There is a huge collection of records, and most of them are missing, damaged vinyls/sleeves, and complete unknowns not even worth $1. Do better with your prices or try to clean up the collection, and work at it a bit.

I didn't think we would find one, but we found a very nice pillow and a GROOVY pillow case. It was like a wish came true. We also went back the next day and found MORE stuff. As if that wasn't enough, we went back the next day and found even more treasures. I will say that each time we went back, it was like going to a brand new store. In addition, all the staff was super friendly, fast and efficient. By the 3rd time we came in, we felt like seasoned regular customers. This is a must-stop destination whenever you go to the Island. So I put it back. They said you can haggle on some prices but I don't want to have to do that. Also they said some items could not be haggled with so it's just an inconvenient way to shop. I will say the young guy at the counter was friendly and helpful but the other guy who I assume is the owner seems a little demeaning towards some of his staff. Each antique dealer has their own aesthetic, and it's typical for each one to specialize in certain items or periods of time, e.g., kitchenware or linens or the 1960s. Not every antique shop is obligated to appeal to men in order to be worthy of five stars, just like not every clothing brand needs to appeal to every gender or age group. This particular antique shop has teacups, postcards, jewelry, art, a small assortment of lamps and light fixtures, linens, knick-knacks, etc. I would say most items are from the mid-1900s or earlier. The owner sews felt Christmas ornaments and table runners by hand, and she also makes charming earrings from old necklace beads and, I think, chandelier crystals. Her shop is one of the tidiest in the area, and her prices are very fair. I enjoy going there to check out what's new.

But just know this is a WOMAN'S sort of antique store - 90% of the stock, at least today, will be of little interest to most men.
