Whoever thought having "all records $5" right next to a "records $10-$15" sign and telling me "yeah, I barely work here and don't know why that $5 sign is there" tells me one of two things. You're lying or incompetent. There is a huge collection of records, and most of them are missing, damaged vinyls/sleeves, and complete unknowns not even worth $1. Do better with your prices or try to clean up the collection, and work at it a bit.

Some of these oddities are really just for admiration and to look at like the sarcophagus that is encased in glass here. It's really something onto itself coming into this shop and getting lost in it. I imagine some of the empty rooms could be meant for tenants that sell different merchandise but it's so far inside this main place I'm not sure how much foot traffic they would receive which accounts for most of these rooms being vacant. Unusual and vast this antique shop is definitely worth checking out when strolling through the antique district of Tacoma.

They have astunning shelf with just that kind of organization. Did I deep dive into trays upon trays of earrings. You better believe it bustah! I fell for some blood splatter ones and some stunning red chain ones. I wanted it all! The problem is there is a serious dust and mold problem at this establishment that should be addressed. Ceiling tiles falling down and water damage, along with a very terrible smell on the second floor. They definitely needs to be an investment into fixing this problem or else people might get serious reactions from it.

This thrift store is not for everyone! Half the time, it's not even for me. But we stop here…read moresometimes when we're in the area because it is weird and cheap and every now and then it has some bargains. OK, so first off, the store is not nice inside, and it is basically whatever temperature it is outside, so often that's not very comfortable. It's pretty dingy inside, with dusty, packed shelves that look like they're about to fall over. The right half of the store is clothing, and the left half of the store is... everything else: shoes, glassware, knick-knacks, office supplies, ancient travel-size soap bars, whatever. Oh, and it's kind of smelly. Some stuff has price tags, but a lot of it doesn't. There are a few signs on the wall giving prices by type of clothing, but a lot of the time I end up going to ask what the price is. The quality varies widely - some stuff is pretty used and ratty, and some stuff still has crossed-out Goodwill tags on it, so you know he gets part of his inventory from the Goodwill bins. Customer service is pretty minimal, and there are no returns. So why do I even bother coming here?? Trust me, I ask myself that too. It's just a fascinatingly random assortment of stuff, and every now and then you do find something good. If you're the kind of thrifter who likes pawing through random old junk, you'll enjoy the bizarre garage-sale feel of this place. Definitely not in my top-tier list of Tacoma thrifts, but it is weird and interesting.

Maybe they were open and they just looked closed. It's hard to say. We finally made it here when we went to the Tacoma Art Walk event on 6th Ave. It was a lot of fun and then finally getting a chance to go into Good Vibes made the experience all the more complete. Most of the clothing inventory appeared to be for the ladies and there didn't look to be much for guys but I think there was a few t-shirts for sake that would work. The inventory they did have was super quirky and a lot of fun. A nice selection of dresses and tops. Fun place overall and if you are into vintage clothing stores definitely pay this one a visit!
