This past Sunday at 2am my wife and I were sleeping when we were abruptly awakened by the sound of a loud crash in front of the house. A car had smashed into our trailer and boat. The young male driver was shaken up but not injured. His car ws heavilily damged but he lived very close by and was able to slowly drive home. The collision had snpped the bow strap and knocked the boat askew on the trailer. Pieces of the car were stuck in the trailer, one tire was flat and the boat had been knocked up on and was partially blocking the sidewalk. Since it was Sunday I waited until Monday morning to contact a local Boat repair company and asked them who I should call to handle a tricky tow situation. They recommended Trey Sizemore and gave me his cell#. I called Trey and explained the situation. He sent one of his best drivers over to assess what might be needed. Marc was very professional and told me he could handle this one himself and save me some money. And he did! Within 30 minutes he had the boat strapped down safley and loaded on his flatbed. AXM Towing Review If…read moreI could give zero stars, I would. I rarely write reviews, but this experience forced me to take AXM Towing to court to prove they were in the wrong. Here's what happened:     *    I parked in the lot by First Cash Pawn, where the signage says "Customer Parking" under a sign listing multiple businesses in the shopping center. Nothing indicated towing was restricted to pawn customers only.     *    Within 13 minutes or less, my car was towed.     *    First Cash Pawn associates states they didn't call to have my vehicle towed off private party the day of the event. Spoke with District manages with First Cash Pawn and he stated there no contract with AXM to tow from that private property with out notification or request to have vehicle towed from their parking lot.     *    AXM altered the receipt they presented in court. Thankfully, I kept my original copy, which showed they towed me from the wrong area. Important for anyone towed by AXM:     *    You only have 14 days to fight a tow in Williamson County. File at the small claims office on Old Settlers Blvd.     *    Print or save your tow receipt immediately. Make sure the address and details match where your car was actually parked. I won my case and should receive both the tow fee and court costs back. But the fact that it had to go this far says everything. Bottom line: AXM Towing patrols lots aggressively and tows immediately, often without clear or legal grounds. Avoid them if you can. Since it was a Saturday morning and I live several miles outside of town, I was expecting to have to wait a couple hours. Blake from SAS called me within 10 minutes. He showed up at my house 30 minutes later with a large flat top truck. Blake helped me push my truck out of the shed, so it could be loaded properly. He was very knowledgeable how large SUV's have to be loaded and secured without damaging them. My truck arrived safe and sound at the repair shop. I've used roadside assist several times over the years for my Suburban. There have been a couple times where I had to send the tow company back, because they were not equipped and/or trained on large trucks. I've even had a guy show up once to change my tire with a tiny car jack. Blake showed up with a flatbed fully capable of handling large trucks. He was friendly, professional, and definitely knew what he was doing.

It's a parasitic business that thrives off people's misfortune.
