The boardwalk pie was a really excellent slice as well, surprised I haven't seen that style around more. Simple, classic interior for a pizza place, nothing surprising, but a decent amount of seating.

The Hawaiian pizza was very well topped, with what my wife called the ideal amount of pineapple. The pepperoni, in my opinion was a bit standard for the area. Very good, don't get me wrong, but Runnemede has some really excellent pizza. The thing holding me back from 5 stars is that it was pricier than surrounding shops offering similar things. That being said, we likely will be back to try the pasta as it looked very good. Service was fast and efficient, plenty of people working so wasn't slow at all.

Now, I have ordered the appetizer of Egg Roll Steaks and they have been ok. It's been a while since I ordered them, but was in the mood tonight. What I got was 3 eggs rolls, cut in half, so it was 6 pieces. What I got were the tiniest egg rolls, either from a Chinese place or from a pizza place like Luigi's. I was charged an unbelievable $11.99, plus and extra $1.00 for a small cup of dipping cheese. They also look burnt. Really, I feel that charging $13.00 and also cutting down the size of the egg rolls to what equates as "child sized" is outrageous. I will never order these from Luigi's again and in fact, may need another break.

When I went to pay, I noticed I was charged full price and politely brought it up to the cashier (young guy with dark curly hair). He told me I needed to mention the special on the phone to receive the advertised price. I explained that nothing on the website states that requirement, and I genuinely believed I was ordering the advertised special. His response was basically, "Sorry, you already paid. I could have changed it before, but now it's too late." Voiding and re-running a payment is a pretty standard cashier function, especially when the pricing confusion comes from unclear advertising. The few dollars wasn't the issue -- it was the poor customer service and unwillingness to make things right. Definitely left disappointed.

Go for the food; go back for the service…read more We live in an area where there is almost a pizza place on every corner. So when you can get a decent pizza from five or six different neighborhood places, you find other ways to define "your" pizza place. The food at Paradise is solid - we've had good meals every time we've gone there. The pizza is the best in Bellmawr, and the pasta dishes are homey, generously portioned, and delicious. But the thing that we keep going back there for is the excellent service and great, friendly people. They are the people who when your sick husband goes to pick up dinner while everyone else at home is just a little bit sicker, they make him up a fruit salad to boost his vitamins. They are the people who when your daughter tells you with 24 hours notice that you have to provide lunch for her 20 person robotics team, they work with you and with your budget to whip up an incredible meal. They are the people who always have a friendly smile, good conversation, and even the ability to put up with your husband's bad jokes. We can get decent pizza at a few places in town. But we can get great food, great service, from really great people at Paradise.

After seeing a few great reviews, we decided to take a chance on Paradise for our Thanksgiving luncheon -- and we're so glad we did. We ordered lasagna, stuffed shells, chicken parm, and cannolis, and everything was gone within 20 minutes. The sauce was incredible, the chicken was tender, and the cannoli filling was perfectly balanced. Our team couldn't stop talking about how good everything was. I've seen a few reviews saying it's overpriced, but I couldn't disagree more. The cost per tray was more than fair -- and let's be honest, everything costs more now. Mom-and-pop shops don't have much wiggle room on pricing, and the quality here absolutely justified the cost. One of the owners, Linda, went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing first experience with them. We'll absolutely be ordering from them again. Great people and great food -- and it's rare to find a place that nails both. Linda & staff -- thank you for the incredible food and outstanding customer service!
