    Pizza and breadsticks

Fratelli's Pizza has two sides - the more formal restaurant/bar side with indoor seating and this side, where you can order pizza by the slice or full pies to go. It was National Pizza Day on February 9, so Nate and I stopped by to grab some slices to celebrate! They had a few different slice options when we stopped in, including pepperoni and sausage, a supreme, and a specialty pizza which I didn't ask about. Pricing ranges from $2.50 for a slice with 1-2 toppings, $3 for specialty slices, and $3 for a breadstick boat. We ended up with a slice of the pepperoni and sausage, one supreme, and a breadstick boat + ranch. The food was all warm even when we got home, and it seemed fresh, like it hadn't been sitting out too long. The pizza was delicious! The sauce wasn't overly sweet, with a nice ratio of cheese to toppings. The crust was a little on the thinner side which is what I prefer. Nate and I both agreed that the pepperoni and sausage was our favorite. However, the star of the show may have been the breadstick boat - I love that they call it that and these breadsticks were some of the best I've had in awhile! If you've had Little Caesars' crazy bread, it's like that but better. Super buttery with a little Parmesan, they were light and fluffy and delicious. I'd definitely go back for more pizza and breadsticks in the future.

Whenever I want a traditional, delightfully greasy cheese pizza Fratelli's is my #1 choice. Compared to the competition in the area their sauce, cheese and crust are all much better. Cheese pizzas are sprinkled with some herbs and honestly just tasty af! Their ranch is also a must. I tried Fratelli's jalapeno poppers for the first time recently for a take-out order. Those aren't usually something I order anywhere, but wow they were delicious. Perfectly fried, still hot when I got home, and the batter was well seasoned. Fried appetizers can be hit or miss, especially for delivery or take out but I was very impressed with them! Wait times for take out can be long during peak hours.

Ordered the cauliflower crust veggie pizza and added spinach and artichoke. It was delicious! The Calabrian wings were tasty! Just a little dry, but the ranch sauce helped. Ordered the fried green beans at the recommendation of the person taking the order instead of fried cauliflower and I'm glad I did! They were delicious, also. It was a delivery order. The timing and service was very good! Four stars because wings were a little dry. A bit pricey and worth it! I will be ordering again!

We stopped in here for a quick bite after wandering around Downtown Grand Rapids. They are easy to access and their service was fast! Our stop was short and savory-we got some pepperoni pizza and a meat lovers pizza.

Heard nothing but good things about this place and I was finally able to stop in and order some food to go. I ordered the veggie feta pizza, cinnamon sticks, and cheesy garlic bread. All very tasty and delicious! The restaurant itself is mostly kitchen and there really isn't room to sit. Service was decent and I definitely will be back again sometime when I'm in town.

While on a work trip to Grand Rapids, I stayed in a hotel downtown. On the one night without a scheduled work dinner, my boss and I stayed in to work and figured pizza would be easy. I asked the front desk what their best recommendation was and Fratelli's came highly recommended. Keeping in mind I was in town from Chicago, there's large pizza shoes to fill. We ordered a large pizza with meatballs and banana peppers which was hot when it came (delivery through Uber Eats) and was definitely large. The crust was relatively thin and was pretty crispy. The pizza was good but not remarkable or necessarily memorable. It was filling and even mediocre pizza is better than most other meals. We also ordered (at my request) the Nutella dessert pizza. This was a hidden gem and absolutely delicious. Even my skeptical boss thoroughly enjoyed it (and finished it over night!). The strawberries were fresh and not mushy, the almonds added a perfect texture and flavor. A+ and would visit on my next time in town just for this. Honestly a safe bet if you're in town and looking for pizza.

This was my first time having carbonara because it is usually made with pork. Our server was able to point out some pork free options highlighting that everything is made in house so I could order the carbonara without the prosciutto if I would like. I jumped on that bandwagon so fast! I had no idea I would be getting that plated table side but that was a nice surprise. Everyone who works here is so nice and customer focused. We had a truly lovely experience. I can't wait to come back! My only feedback is when they tell you it is peppery believe them. If you don't like peppery stay away from the carbonara. If you're like me, take it as it is served and enjoy all of it and the leftovers. If you're crazy opt for the additional topper of pepper at the very end. Food freshness and quality gains 5 stars, service 5 stars, ambiance 5 stars, and cleanliness also 5 stars! Great job guys!

We need to put some respect on this beautiful pink woman's name. When first greeted in the warm embrace that is this spot, there's a food pantry; I quietly reminded myself to be grateful that I am able to dine in at a restaurant. Especially one that is Amore. This place, it's special. It's warm, inviting and feels like my grandmas kitchen. A place I can sit down, talk to good people and eat comforting food. The wine list was so personal and we chose a lovely red that paired well with our dinner. We decided to start with the share size Caesar salad, which had our immediate attention with homemade croutons. SPEAKING OF HOMEMADE, the focaccia bread that was so graciously provided accompanied by an olive oil I threatened to drink out of the bottle - was also divine. So the main entrees come out, and I start crying because it's one of the first restaurants I've been too in ages that's I don't taste anything but love and care. I was snoozing on the pillows of vodka sauce gnocchi, when I was awoken by a spoonful of tomato sauce with a Smokey vibe. If I'm honest, I teared up. At the ending of our dinner we were served a generous digestifs and the best spoonful of pumpkin tiramisu EVER. Amore is magic, Jenna is magic and our server Kim. The space is cozy and pretty large, with what looked to be a private area with a birthday party going on towards the back. Our server was really friendly and patient as we explored the menu, which features Sicilian items like pizza, pasta, and several starters. We wanted to try some appetizers so we ordered the cozze di mare (mussels) with white sauce, rotoli (eggplant rolls filled with Prosciutto di Parma, house-made tomato sauce and provolone cheese, baked then topped with basil), and a Caesar salad. The mussels and eggplant dish came out first and were delicious. I personally loved the eggplant rotoli the most - the eggplant was tender, the sauce was savory, and it was stuffed with cheese and prosciutto... yum! I would get this as a meal with a side of garlic bread for dipping. The mussels were nicely cooked and the sauce was subtle. The salad was crisp and fresh and I liked the different toppings (fresh tomatoes and sun dried tomatoes). The Caesar salad only comes in the large size, but it was good to share with the group. For dinner we shared a couple of pizzas - the bocce and a margherita. The freshly grated cheese over top was perfection - don't skip this! I loved all the toppings on the bocce (basically a version of a supreme pizza) but the pepperoni was my favorite with how crispy it got. The crust was missing a bit of flavor for me, but it was cooked well and not soggy. We were too stuffed for dessert but I'd come back for their cannoli or rotating cheesecake flavors!
