My husband and I are OBSESSED with Fratelli's. They have the perfect pizza with the most authentic, sweet sauce as well as serving some beautiful pasta. We always find ourselves coming back to them for Friday night pizza. Did I say pizza enough? It's that good. The roasted garlic as a topping?! Wow. They even have prosciutto. Sometimes when our parents come to town we take them here. They love the appetizers and lasagna. I'd also like to mention how tender and flavorful the meatballs are. YUMMMMMMMMMMMM! I absolutely love this little spot on Bridge Street. It is the PERFECT spot to swing into if you have been hitting the bars in that stretch. The service is fast, the food is always ready to go and hot. This time I got breadsticks and a slice of pizza. The portions are not small. Everything was soooo darn good, I could eat there every week. You get a sauce with your breadsticks and that was just as good. Honestly, if you havent checked them out before, you need to. They are open late every night, and even until 3am on the weekend!!!!! Quick pickup trip to the pizza side. I don't nearly make it downtown as much as I used to since I live in Byron center but back in the day (10 years+) when I lived downtown my roommate and I would hit up Fratelli's once a week for sure and had some late night conversations with Enzo himself. So I had to make a stop in and also utilize my birthday coupon! And I was so glad and fortunate to have Enzo preparing it for me and him and the lady up front were so nice in wishing me a happy birthday. The pizza is honestly so well prepared and cooked and just how I always remembered it after all this time! Consistency is key and no wonder is the best with the passion and love that goes into making it. Fratelli's Pizza has two sides - the more formal restaurant/bar side with indoor seating and this side, where you can order pizza by the slice or full pies to go. It was National Pizza Day on February 9, so Nate and I stopped by to grab some slices to celebrate! They had a few different slice options when we stopped in, including pepperoni and sausage, a supreme, and a specialty pizza which I didn't ask about. Pricing ranges from $2.50 for a slice with 1-2 toppings, $3 for specialty slices, and $3 for a breadstick boat. We ended up with a slice of the pepperoni and sausage, one supreme, and a breadstick boat + ranch. The food was all warm even when we got home, and it seemed fresh, like it hadn't been sitting out too long. The pizza was delicious! The sauce wasn't overly sweet, with a nice ratio of cheese to toppings. The crust was a little on the thinner side which is what I prefer. Nate and I both agreed that the pepperoni and sausage was our favorite. However, the star of the show may have been the breadstick boat - I love that they call it that and these breadsticks were some of the best I've had in awhile! If you've had Little Caesars' crazy bread, it's like that but better. Super buttery with a little Parmesan, they were light and fluffy and delicious. Whenever I want a traditional, delightfully greasy cheese pizza Fratelli's is my #1 choice. Compared to the competition in the area their sauce, cheese and crust are all much better. Cheese pizzas are sprinkled with some herbs and honestly just tasty af! Their ranch is also a must. I tried Fratelli's jalapeno poppers for the first time recently for a take-out order. Those aren't usually something I order anywhere, but wow they were delicious. Perfectly fried, still hot when I got home, and the batter was well seasoned. Fried appetizers can be hit or miss, especially for delivery or take out but I was very impressed with them! Wait times for take out can be long during peak hours. read more

This is one of, if not the best pizza in GR. The crust is thin but holds up, the sauce is flavorful, the cheese and seasonings really make for a good bite the entire slice. Pick up is fast, expect it to be ready 5-10 minutes before the time they give you. Absolutely recommend. read more

We enjoyed a nice late-night pizza from Fratelli's -- delivered to our hotel via Uber Eats. It was one of the few very late night options available and took a little over an hour to arrive (to be expected on a hoppin' Saturday night in the rain). *Kudos to our Uber Eats driver for the delivery! Thank you! The pizza was hot, exactly as we ordered. We loved the crust, a good crunch around the edges. The cheese... we couldn't quite figure out what kind it was. It wasn't the typical mozzarella we were expecting. Me being a cheese lover, it was good. But I was with a picky cheese-eater who wasn't keen on the deviation from the expected pizza mozzarella. A 16" pizza was more than enough for two of us. Probably a 14" would have been the perfect size. We didn't try any other options on the menu, which were plentiful. The price we paid, even with an Uber Eats -40% promotion, was on the high end for a pizza, but again, we never had to leave the comfort of our hotel. Always an unorganized mess while picking up to-go orders, but really great food! We love their deep fried cauliflower- so good! The breadsticks are also really good- they did recently change them which was slightly disappointing, but they are still good. Pizza is usually always great, unless it got over cooked.. which happens every once in a great while. They hand pinch their sausage- which I honestly love. Their gnocchi is also spot on. While on a work trip to Grand Rapids, I stayed in a hotel downtown. On the one night without a scheduled work dinner, my boss and I stayed in to work and figured pizza would be easy. I asked the front desk what their best recommendation was and Fratelli's came highly recommended. Keeping in mind I was in town from Chicago, there's large pizza shoes to fill. We ordered a large pizza with meatballs and banana peppers which was hot when it came (delivery through Uber Eats) and was definitely large. The crust was relatively thin and was pretty crispy. The pizza was good but not remarkable or necessarily memorable. It was filling and even mediocre pizza is better than most other meals. We also ordered (at my request) the Nutella dessert pizza. This was a hidden gem and absolutely delicious. Even my skeptical boss thoroughly enjoyed it (and finished it over night!). The strawberries were fresh and not mushy, the almonds added a perfect texture and flavor. A+ and would visit on my next time in town just for this. I came to Grand Rapids and ended up having to stay an extra day due to a snow storm, and what's the best way to spend a snow day? With pizza! Duh! Fratellis was so kind and I love how the delivery woman wore a mask! Whew, you would think that was obvious in these times, but it's not. The woman I spoke to on the phone and took my order was so personable as well! Now let's get to the food. I had small half extra cheese and half veggie with extra cheese. We are on a search for the best pizza delivery on the NW side. Tonight we tried Fratelli's Pizza on Bridge St. . I knew it had reputation for being a late-nite standby but I was interested in how it help up during the dinner rush. We ordered a large sausage, mushroom and artichoke, a small cheese and an order of cheese bread sticks. They said delivery would be about an hour but it ended up only taking 40 minutes which was a nice surprise. The driver was friendly and courteous. The good: The first bite told me I think we had finally found what we were looking for. The crust was perfectly crisp yet tender, plenty of cheese, fresh mushrooms, wonderfully seasoned sausage. You could taste each ingredient and it was wonderful. The cheesy bread sticks were little glorious heart attacks but so good, light and fluffy by weighted down by generous amounts of cheese and not too garlicky. our kids inhaled their cheese pizza. The meh: the only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is that I felt that the topping coverage could be a little more generous. At one of the higher price points we've tried I want fat chunks of artichokes not occasional leaves, no matter how delicious. The disappointing: nothing. It was really, really good. Myself and some buddies were staying in the area at an Air B&b for Comic Con. I ordered a 18" Pepperoni Pizza. It took about an hr to get to the house but it was well worth the wait it is one of the best Pizzas I have had in a long time. The chicken Alfredo is extremely delicious considering the portion size and how reasonably priced it is. The pizza however was decent.

My parent's were visiting and they were told about this place so we tried it. Snuck in in time for happy hour and got 6 carabiner wings for $5 (usually 8 for $14). They tasted amazingly. Perfectly cooked & Perfectly sauced. We also had the Fall & diavolo pizza. They were both Perfectly cooked on their homemade dough. The fall had apple and cranberries, I did not know that before. I was very willing to try the apples but I has very hesitant to try the cranberries. But I did and it was a perfect pizza. The apple were glazed so it added a feint sweet cinnamon taste to it. Definitely want to come again! Likely be back tomorrow. My slightest disappointment tonight, was that our waitress was new. So she didn't have answers to most of our questions about the menu or the facts about the store. Also, I immediately thought she was very slow with helping us, until I realized she's the only waitress there at the time. Still some of the best pizza in Grand Rapids! But perhaps too popular for its own good? Service has taken a steep dive. Expect to be placed on hold for quite a few minutes -- or even hung up on! Staff are obviously overworked, but that's no excuse for curtness. Delivery times are also longer, and, worse: erratic. And, very sadly, yes, the pizza itself is slightly less wonderful than before, perhaps due to the rush.
