Came for the food, stayed for the patio view. Their Malbec with a view over Reed's Lake at sunset is the perfect relaxation combo. My Ribeye was fantastic, it was a huge portion and had a great crisp on the outside while still being the perfect medium temperature on the inside. Their cocktails had great flavor profiles, and the staff was very attentive, even when we stayed and chatted for almost 3 hours, we were just so comfortable there!

Pizza on the Special's menu. So good! One of us usually orders the pizza from that menu because we know it's going to be great.

Rose's is one of our favorite restaurants in the area that we can walk to. The food is always great. The service is excellent and everyone is friendly. Just a few of the things I managed to capture a picture of before digging in.

One of our favorite places to go that's on the water. The root chips are a must, there's plenty to share with friends! Another favorite is the sesame seared yellowfin tuna. At the end of your meal you'll get a little sample of caramel popcorn. After you can stroll around Reeds lake or take a walk to Gaslight village.

We were in GR for a conference and this place was recommended by a friend. First off let me say the location is very picturesque, but the parking situation can be a bit of a challenge. The atmosphere is fitting for the location and the staff are very friendly. I was with a group of 5 people and we all enjoyed our meals. I had a Mahi featured dish and it was great. I was impressed with the way the culinary team built up the flavors of each dish as i had the opportunity to try another. I'd certainly recommend this place if you're looking for a great place to enjoy a good meal on the water.

What a beautiful location! We wanted a Saturday late lunch place and found this on Yelp. My take: 5 star view with a 3 star lunch. We sat outside on the deck, somehow we ended up at the only table without an umbrella but we improvised and huddled on one side. What a lovely location! Wanted to try a dinner fish meal but the waiter said the chef could not make something dairy free. So I opted for a Ruben. Something just tasted off. Corned beef was nice, but the sandwich fell flat. Husband said his burger was just okay. Beautiful location so we'll give it another try.

Okay, so this location is so great! Right by the lake and beautiful park. The parking is a littleeeee small, but overall great location. The building has some really cool history behind it, so check out the images in the main hallway! Food was especially delicious. We had the root chips as an appetizer and devoured them all. Highly recommend getting them! Don't be intimidated by them being vegetable based--they're so delicious! I had the chicken Caesar salad and it was good. Nothing overly extraordinary, but still tasty. Two people in my party got the turkey burgers and spoke highly of them. Rose's is a must!

We came for my wife birthday, the heated outdoor porch was great! Root chip and dip was actually good. Food was ok , not the mouth watering type but it was decent. Service was mediocre, and inconsistent, we had to ask for refills and never got our bread and oil and fruit.

It was my birthday yesterday, and my mother-in-law took me to lunch at a lovely restaurant. She was thrilled to introduce me to the place, and I didn't know what to expect since it was my first time. We were delighted to find it wasn't busy. Upon entering, I noticed how cozy the atmosphere was. The hallway featured many memorabilia, providing a nice distraction while waiting to be seated and offering a glimpse into the restaurant's history. We chose a seat outside overlooking Reeds Lake. Our server was attentive and asked if we needed drinks. We ordered coffee and water. The ambiance was pleasant, with a beautiful rope chandelier and windows overlooking the lake. Inside, there was a fireplace and an open kitchen (though I didn't pay much attention). For lunch, I ordered rigatoni bolognese, and my mother-in-law had a cranberry sandwich, which she said was delicious. We also enjoyed bread, though serving it warm would have been nice. The food was amazing! My pasta was cooked to perfection with a lovely hint of spiciness. Rachelle, (not sure if that's her name though sorry) our server, was exceptional, frequently checking if we needed anything. My mother-in-law and I had a fantastic experience, impressed by the service, ambiance, cleanliness (especially the bathroom, a big plus for me!). I'm so glad she took me there. I'll definitely return with my husband next time. I highly recommend this place - 1000%!

Located right on the lake front so you can get some amazing dining views. Just came for dessert. Had their tiramisu and some herbal tea. Service was prompt and attentive. Tiramisu was on point and you don't get a tiny slice either.

Rose's offers an amazing view of the lake that's worth the visit alone. The atmosphere is enhanced by the great and kind service we received throughout our meal. As for the food, it was decent but not particularly standout. We tried the steak, pesto pasta salad, and burger. While the steak wasn't something we'd order again, the other items were fine. I'd definitely come back for appetizers and to soak in the beautiful lake view--it's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.

This was my first time having carbonara because it is usually made with pork. Our server was able to point out some pork free options highlighting that everything is made in house so I could order the carbonara without the prosciutto if I would like. I jumped on that bandwagon so fast! I had no idea I would be getting that plated table side but that was a nice surprise. Everyone who works here is so nice and customer focused. We had a truly lovely experience. I can't wait to come back! My only feedback is when they tell you it is peppery believe them. If you don't like peppery stay away from the carbonara. If you're like me, take it as it is served and enjoy all of it and the leftovers. If you're crazy opt for the additional topper of pepper at the very end. Food freshness and quality gains 5 stars, service 5 stars, ambiance 5 stars, and cleanliness also 5 stars! Great job guys!

We need to put some respect on this beautiful pink woman's name. When first greeted in the warm embrace that is this spot, there's a food pantry; I quietly reminded myself to be grateful that I am able to dine in at a restaurant. Especially one that is Amore. This place, it's special. It's warm, inviting and feels like my grandmas kitchen. A place I can sit down, talk to good people and eat comforting food. The wine list was so personal and we chose a lovely red that paired well with our dinner. We decided to start with the share size Caesar salad, which had our immediate attention with homemade croutons. SPEAKING OF HOMEMADE, the focaccia bread that was so graciously provided accompanied by an olive oil I threatened to drink out of the bottle - was also divine. So the main entrees come out, and I start crying because it's one of the first restaurants I've been too in ages that's I don't taste anything but love and care. I was snoozing on the pillows of vodka sauce gnocchi, when I was awoken by a spoonful of tomato sauce with a Smokey vibe. If I'm honest, I teared up. At the ending of our dinner we were served a generous digestifs and the best spoonful of pumpkin tiramisu EVER. Amore is magic, Jenna is magic and our server Kim. The space is cozy and pretty large, with what looked to be a private area with a birthday party going on towards the back. Our server was really friendly and patient as we explored the menu, which features Sicilian items like pizza, pasta, and several starters. We wanted to try some appetizers so we ordered the cozze di mare (mussels) with white sauce, rotoli (eggplant rolls filled with Prosciutto di Parma, house-made tomato sauce and provolone cheese, baked then topped with basil), and a Caesar salad. The mussels and eggplant dish came out first and were delicious. I personally loved the eggplant rotoli the most - the eggplant was tender, the sauce was savory, and it was stuffed with cheese and prosciutto... yum! I would get this as a meal with a side of garlic bread for dipping. The mussels were nicely cooked and the sauce was subtle. The salad was crisp and fresh and I liked the different toppings (fresh tomatoes and sun dried tomatoes). The Caesar salad only comes in the large size, but it was good to share with the group. For dinner we shared a couple of pizzas - the bocce and a margherita. The freshly grated cheese over top was perfection - don't skip this! I loved all the toppings on the bocce (basically a version of a supreme pizza) but the pepperoni was my favorite with how crispy it got. The crust was missing a bit of flavor for me, but it was cooked well and not soggy. We were too stuffed for dessert but I'd come back for their cannoli or rotating cheesecake flavors! I want to try their pasta next also.
