Love their pizza. Moved to Byron Center and tried a few local places. This is by far our favorite. The food is great, service is great. They text when it's ready for pick up (if you are doing pick up). Never had an issue. We also have had it when friends are over and everyone always comments how good it is, and asks more about where we got it from. My whole family refers to it is "the good pizza", as in "can we get the good pizza tonight?" Or "I was thinking about getting the good pizza for dinner tonight." read more

One of our families favorite Pizzas! Always excellent taste, fresh and fast! Only place we will order pizza from in Byron Center!

What a lunch deal! You get all this food for 7 dollars and some change! Although I did not enjoy the pizza compared to ordering a whole pie the flavor wasn't in these lunch pies. read more

Mamma Mineo's Pizza - 2 slices of pizza, 4 breadsticks and a soda! - Italian Near Me - Byron Center, Michigan

See all

This is our go to for pizza and stuffed breadsticks. Yes you heard right "stuffed breadsticks" which they're known for (famous mamas stuffed breadsticks)... they do it so great! The cheesiest and tastiest, and different varieties- we always order multiple. And then the pizza is just as delicious and flavorful as they pack on the toppings. Every bite is worth it. You absolutely have to try them out if you're nearby, best in the area! I'll try not to devour it and take more pictures next round. read more

Words cannot describe how amazing of a find this place is. Their pizza and breadsticks are out of this world! Hands down the best pizza I've had in terms of a crispy yet bouncy crust and fantastic ingredients. I haven't got a topping I haven't liked! Wonderful sauce as well. read more

I think 1 of the best pizzas in the area. Lots of cheese, crispy crust. There sauce is exactly how I like it, on the sweeter side.

Delicious pizza! Plus, when I ask for extra cheese, they actually give me extra cheese! That's very rare with pizza restaurants. My husband and I LOVE Mamma Mineo's pizza! read more

Been getting food here since I was in college down the street in 1988. Never disappoints for quality and price!

In search of a satisfying pizza & salad combo for dinner tonight, we opted to support local & give Mineo's a try. Holy cow did they knock it out of the park!! I placed an order with ease online & patiently waited for a text to say the order was ready. The employees were very nice & had our order correct AND done early. Considering that the smell of bread & bacon tantalized my senses on the way home, the flavors absolutely delivered once I took a bite. Our family greatly enjoyed the Caprese salad (super fresh mozzarella & tomatoes on spinach), the bacon & pickle bread sticks (that was NOT a typo - yes pickles & they are AMAZING) and Nonno's pizza (sausage, ricotta, spinach & magic, I swear). The flavors were on point, as was the hand-tossed crust. This meal was perfect beginning to end & exactly what I was looking for!! read more

Mamma Mineo's Pizza - Caprese salad, Nonno's pizza & bacon/pickle breadsticks. YUM! - Italian Near Me - Byron Center, Michigan

We ordered delivery from Mineo's while we were babysitting and it worked out great. Their online ordering process was simple and it allowed us to look through the menu while deciding on our dinner. The automated system estimated an hour and 15min for delivery but it only took 45min at 6pm on a weekday. The Mickey Mouse pepperoni pizza on the kids menu was perfect for our 6yr old niece. The pizza is huge but it's so cheap. The Mickey Mouse shape was loved by the kids. The chicken bacon and ranch pizza was very good. We would prefer a little less ranch since it kind of took over the pizza but it was tasty. I wasn't a huge fan of the large chunks of tomatoes on it either but overall, the pizza tied together nicely. The breadsticks were fantastic. When it comes to breadsticks, there is a fine line between seasoning and boring bread. These guys nail it and they are large enough to share with everyone. We also ordered a side salad which was the perfect size as well. read more

This place was great, we got the 2 2-topping 16" with breadsticks special. The pizza was phenomenal, we got a pepperoni and mushroom, and home made Italian sausage with bacon pizza. The home made sausage is the real deal. Ladies at the counter were super sweet. We will be ordering again! read more

We have ordered from Mineo's many times. The pizza usually is good. Our last order the pizza was burnt and tasted like cardboard. When we called the restaurant and spoke to the owner she was incredibly rude. She said, "I took the pizza out of the oven myself and it was not burnt. That is the way the deep dish pizza is." We responded by saying, "we have ordered many times and our pizza has never looked like this." After we told her we will take our business somewhere else in the future she replied, "So be it." We will not order from Mineo's again. The pizza was burnt and tasted like cardboard and the customer service was horrendous. The pizza was overpriced. We would prefer to give our money to restaurants that treat their customers better read more

My son called to see what the specials were. He was told that a 3 item was $16.99. The staff said the total was $19.81. A $16.99 pizza with 6 percent tax would be $18.01. I went to pick up the pizza and asked why not $18.01. I was told that there was a 11 percent surcharge. The staff member said she told me the total of the pizza. I was never told that there was a surcharge on the phone. How can it be a special if you are charging me more? Why would I question the total ? Not very transparent!! You really don't have a special if your charging more. A reputable business practice would be to reflect the correct price and be transparent. Crooked!! read more

We have only ever ordered calzones from here..I would be willing to try more but their calzones are amazing. They're bigger than my head (which is pretty big)! I wish I could say more but honestly, I don't need to. We love everything about this place. read more

Love this place! The remodel looks so nice! Staff is always super friendly. Their sauce is unlike any other. It's VERY good. You always have to ask for extra though because they don't put enough on the subs or the pizza. Very good option for families looking for some good pizza & supporting a small business. Also here's a tip, if you're wanting a simple pepperoni pizza, make sure you verbally say you'd like the 8.99 special. If you don't they charge you more for the pepperoni pizza. (Only works for pepperoni) read more

Very good pizza! Sauce tasted amazing and the crust was tasty too! Inside was super clean and the staff was very friendly. Only complaint is the ranch was just meh but everything else was amazing!!! read more

I didn't order any pizza, but the stuffed mozzarella bread was delicious. The chicken salad was also really good and a very good portion size. I didn't know this when I ordered but the salad also comes with garlic bread! read more

Best pizza in West Michigan! Hands-down! The Parmesan garlic crust is incredible. My wife and I drive from the north west side of Grand Rapids to eat here on a regular basis. We absolutely love the friendly service in the high-quality food. The lunch buffet is great as well. read more

Called in at 10:34 to order a pepperoni pizza for pick up. Gentlemen picked up the phone and rudely stated that they close at 11:00 so "hurry up!" I moved into this little town 4 months ago and would like to support the mom and pop place..but with that attitude and poor customer service....I'll never call again. I live 2 minutes away and could have been in and out in 10 minutes. Customers are the reason you have your job....not an interruption of it. Peppinos it is! read more

It was really good pizza. We ordered a large half pepperoni and half cheese pizza which they were happy to split. We also ordered cheese pepperoni breadsticks, which was something we'd never had before and was totally delish! The only problem I might have is the wait time. We called in the car when we were fifteen minutes away, and they told us it would be thirty minutes. Why? That seemed outrageous. We arrived ten minutes before they said it would be done, though, and it was ready for us. I would definitely order here again. read more

This place is phenomenal. Their sauce is authentic. The pizzas are excellent. I have ordered from them several times and have never been disappointed. They always exceed my expectations. read more

Great pizza but on weekend evenings they tell you it will be ready in 25 minutes and it will consistently take 65 minutes wasting each customer's time. Though the pizza Is good it's not worth tolerating the lies and the long wait. read more

Horrible service! The owner is completely rude, they rush you off the phone, and have no issue with causing commotions. They dont stay on long enough to give full details. And when they mess up theyll argue how you didnt tell them this or that. Today was my breaking point! I called several times to give my apt# after the lady rushed me off of the phone. No one answered until my third time which was spaced out maybe because she was on another call. The owner answered I explained to him that the lady was rushing me off the phone. And this was my third time that I have tried calling to make sure she would let the driver know. The owner began trying to run me down that I should have told them this or that. I explained again. To him(politely) after him still choosing to showcase his mother didnt raise him properly. I told him you know what! I don't have to deal with his rudeness! And I'll have them sitting out there. I dont have to spend my money with piss poor people. He sort of changed his tune! And said sweetheart but you should have tol..... I stopped him there and told him would he like to have his worker take the sandwiches back? Because after he said sweetheart he had an attitude! Which then triggered me to tell him! I will leave your freaking worker waiting at the mf'n door. And hung up on him. But then I remembered they have atleast 2 good workers which is the john guy and the African american guy. And they are pretty nice! All the rest are diddleheads. I decided to meet the driver and it happened to be the african american man! I explained to him too. Because he started up with the bs. And he finally stated that he will get on the lady! He is part owner blah blah. Hopefully he said something to the chuckle heads there. But they aren't going to stop until someone goes completely postal on their asses. read more

BEST pizza in Byron Center- I've been going here since I was a kid! The pizza is always good and the service is the best!

As Italian as it gets. The owner is seriously Sicilian dialect Italian. The pizza is great and they have great prices. Great customer service as well. read more

So yeah the pizza is pretty good, but I come here for the pasta!!! The spaghetti and meatballs as well as the lasagna are both amazingly delicious. It also gives me leftovers for two more lunches! read more

I ordered a pizza for delivery tonight online. I love the fact that they offer that as an option! After almost an hour, I decided to call and see if they had an ETA for me. This is where my biggest issue lies with Mineo's. When the woman answered I explained that I had ordered about an hour ago and wondered when I could expect the pizza. She replied in a very curt tone, "Well, we are on an hour to an hour-and-a-half wait" As if this should be common knowledge for anyone calling. When you place an order online all you get is a confirmation that you did so, not an estimated delivery time! I then asked if she could give me any idea when to expect my delivery and there was no response. So I asked if the delivery driver had left and she said "No". Again her tone was quite snotty on and at this point I hung up. A few minutes later minutes later the driver was at my door (he had obviously left as there is no way he could have gotten to my house in that short timeframe!). He was polite as he handed off our order. There is something to that old saying, you only get one chance to make a first impression. I am afraid whoever answered the phone has made an absolutely horrible impression on me. I realize that it gets busy, especially on a Friday night, but the hallmark of good restaurants anywhere is how they treat there customers, whether that is on the phone or in person, and I am afraid that I have now soured on Mineo's. read more

Sauce for pizza IS EXTREMLY important and they nailed it. It is very good! Prices are better then most authentic Italian places, also if you get it delivered most of the time you will get the owner and he's awesome! Give him a good tip!! read more

Good prices- good pizza. Breadsticks are delicious! It was a good, reasonably priced and the 18" pizza and order of breadsticks was such a large portion we easily have enough for a whole other meal. It's a great place for some weekend take-out pizza! read more

We ordered pizza last minute because we were out running around and got hungry. Mineo's delivered promptly. BBQ wings were not bad. The 18" pizza was better than I expected it to be. We got half cheese and half ham and pineapple. Coverage of ham and pineapple was substantial. Ham and pineapple topped the pizza such that every bite was covered. It was quite outstanding, as was the overall flavor. Very good quality ham, sauce, and cheese. No attempt to skimp or cut flavor out by using second class cheese. Very nice. Will definitely order again. Might not be NY pizza, but a very good nonetheless. read more

Placed an online order that was prepared incorrectly. Talked to three different people, the second two were rude and refused to correct the order or refund the money for the incorrect items.
