Second, replace the old waterline leading to the water dispenser with a new one. The plumber stopped the leak but left the old filter and waterline in place, contrary to what the invoice stated. He said he would check with the company about replacing the waterline. The company then proposed installing a reverse osmosis system for $1800, even though I had clearly stated I did not need a new filtration system, only a simple replacement waterline, since the dispenser already has its own filter. It took over two days to get a response, and only after I followed up twice. On the second day I hired another plumber who completed the waterline replacement for a fraction of the cost.

I ended up having him put in a cleanout that he completed by the next morning. Turns out, I had a collapsed pipe under my slab. Booby showed me the video of it and got me a quote right away to address it. I felt the estimate was very fair and they even credited the clearing of the pipe and the addition of the cleanout against the major repair under my slab. He was back the next morning with a team of guys who fixed the issue within 2 days. They kept me informed of what was happening every step of the way. But for the low price of 20K but they could cut us a deal and do it for 17k..he could have us back up and running.. pass,,, We called a friend who actually did some diagnosis and come to find out the evaporator was NOT clogged and the bearings were fine. My installation required a crane to get the unit on top of my house and The Purple Crane was in and out quickly. The crane didn't disrupt my neighbors or even the trash service that morning.
