The food wasn't all that good to me the potatoes were very soft and undercooked, the bacon was cold, the sausage as well which had very little to no flavor as well as the grits the drinks were very watered down. The pancake however, was very good as well as the french toast, the omelette my mom got was very flavorless and very small. The tea was also very cold even tho she specifically asked for hot tea the server brought her cold tea. The service was mediocre at best, when talking to the server it felt like we were being rushed each step of the way. I provided a negative review while dining at the old location. I must write to say that they have a new location and it's terrific. We went for breakfast last Friday and the service was outstanding. The food quality and quantity for the price was excellent. The new location is a definite upgrade from their initial location. We chose to eat breakfast but they have a nice lunch menu too. The fried green tomatoes were great. The country fried steak was fresh and tasty. We will definitely add this new location to our weekly places to eat. read more

This place is a gem! If I lived here I would eat here weekly for breakfast! We had everything from corn beef hash to apple wood smoked bacon to the biscuits and gravy! Don't bother. They are slow. The crasaunts are flat. Banana pudding has black nasty rotten bananas in it. I send it back and they argued with me that it was fine. If a customer does not want to eat something nasty you should just take it back and not be argumentive. read more

My fist visit here. I've seen them for quite a while, but decided to stop in for lunch today. They have a huge menu. A large assortment or breakfast and lunch/dinner items. After several minutes navigating their menu, I decided on a souther staple. Country fried steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole. After about ten minutes, my server came back to explain that they were out of the broccoli casserole. I really didn't se much else that I wanted, but chose macaroni and cheese. When the food came out, I wasn't sure if the mistakenly gave me the wrong meat. Small portions. Runny macaroni and cheese straight from a box. Tried this spot for the first time today. Love that it's not a chain restaurant and that many of the menu options include unique combinations. We ended up getting the corned beef skillet and the chicken and waffles biscuit. My fella LOVED his skillet!! It was the perfect portion, had a lot of flavor and was super cheesy!! The breading on the chicken was good and it was well cooked and juicy. I didn't love the biscuit waffle, but that is probably more of a personal preference than a cooking issue. Frannick's looks like a typical diner, but the food and service elevate it above the typical. The breakfast choices were robust, and the skillet I ordered was spot on. There were at least a half dozen options I'd like to have tried. The service was good, servers were polite and attentive. Such a great variety for breakfast and lunch! You have to try their breakfast skillets and their smofry wings with their homemade ranch.

Used to be good. Portion sizes have gotten smaller, and customer service is poor. One of my sides was cold. The server offered to microwave it but then totally forgot to come back to get it. Now they won't take it off the bill. No manager is here to handle it and the server just changed her story about what happened. Had a late breakfast here while visiting friends in March. The menu truly had something for everyone. We all got plenty of food and enjoyed what we ordered-- mostly breakfast items but some lunch. It was busy and a bit chaotic so we did have to ask for a few things more than once (waters with coffee, more silverware, hot sauce), but the wait time for food was reasonable and everyone was generally pleasant about our requests. This restaurant is set in an old Huddle House building and other than the layout inside , that's where the similarities end. All the booths are separated with tall dividers and the decor is clean and well situated. The service was good, our server was friendly and helpful. I had the breakfast plate and wanted half bacon half sausage but I wasn't allowed to do that. The food was okay (eggs and meat are hard to screw up anywhere) but the breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions wasn't really up to much. They were very dry and mushy and I guess I was expecting something with a little flavor and crunch to it, it didn't light my fire, however I would go back and try something else on the menu. read more

My husband and I came to Frannicks tonight for dinner since they're now open til 8pm. I got the meat and 3 which was the country fried steak with real mashed potatoes and gravy, deep fried broccoli and the pasta salad. Let me start of with the deep fried broccoli it was by far the best thing on the plate, it had a roasted flavor to it that made me want a whole plate of it. Next, the pasta salad, it was good and the real mashed potatoes were excellent. I had ordered the chicken fried steak but really didn't care for it so they very quickly replaced it with a grilled chicken breast, which was very juicy and tender.
