New location. Wish the food had improved. The homestyle Monique has gone too far. Been to two breakfasts and a lunch. Lunch was decent. Burger was good enough but nothing spectacular. Breakfast is were the loss of rating is happening. Don't get the home fries. Either way. Steamed/flat top no taste. Fries. No taste with oil. Had an eggs Benedict that was full of egg shells. It was also pointed out to me the egg was likely microwaved due to the perfect dome shape. Again. No flavor. No seasoning. This place is practically accosts the street from my house and I'm driving somewhere else for breakfast 30 min away

Excellent service and coffee! It wasn't too busy to get in at 11:15 on a Saturday. The food was good. I had forgotten that all southern casseroles are eggs and cheese and a veggie. Not healthy at all but good.

We got there 20 min before closing but they still encouraged us to come in and take our time. It's always nice to be welcomed in and not hurried out the door. I chose the California with fried brussels. Both were good, but the brussels were amazing! The menu doesn't tell what bread the sandwiches come on, but I found the croissant to be perfect with my sandwich. The menu also doesn't say the sandwich would be warm and pressed, so if you want a cold sandwich be sure to order it that way. My husband's club was different from what he was expecting. It was the cold sandwich with layers and a toothpick he usually gets when ordering a club. It was served hot on thick Texas toast, which is not his favorite. He loved the potato salad and said he'd love to get a big container full the next time we have a cookout.

Cute place but don't get the spinach salad. They put a few fresh pieces of spinach on top but the rest was very wilted with some being liquified The chicken was bland and tough Other items may be ok but this was gross

Came in on Oct 28th, 2019 at about 11am with my brother as we heard they were open and had good breakfast. Came in and seated ourselves and hostess came up immediately and took our drink orders. After a few minutes we ordered. I had the country breakfast of 2 eggs over medium with ham, grits and toast. Eggs were perfect, toast was thick and good, ham was excellent, no gristle, and grits were ok but they were the "low-country" style which are stone-ground grits which no one that I personally know likes, my and my families/friends preference being good 5 minute white-hominy grits. Brother hax breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, country potatoes/fries, country sausage with the grits and toast. He also liked everything but the grits. We both had sweet tea which was PERFECT, great flavor not weak and not too sweet. Place was very clean, employees were extremely polite and professional, as a matter of fact we had some overflow on the wait staff trying to help us, which is never a problem it's not like they hovered they just made sure we had everything we needed. Spoke with one of the owners Nick (Fran and Nick - hence Frannick's!), great guy, knows his restaurant business. I spoke with him about his plans, he is going to get some pictures on the menu because they have a large selection but some of the items would be easier to.choose if you could visualize the menu item. Parking is ample. Prices are a little higher than say Waffle House BUT food and service is better IMO. Will give 4 stars for now based on: Service/staff - 5 stars Food quality - 5 stars except for grits Location - 5 star Prices - 4 to 5 star Cleanliness/appearance - 5 star If next visit is just as good/consistent will bump up to 5 stars. (Get some regular grits on the menu please!) Will return to check out other menu items, definitely recommend.

I ordered the Texas French toast (with no eggs) thinking it meant no eggs on the side not that the French toast was made without eggs!!! Who makes French toast without eggs lmao? And don't get me started on the pepperoni sized Canadian ham they gave me overall the food was bleh wouldn't go again.

They are very busy on a Sunday too. We loved the fried green tomatoes with siracha aioli. Great place for breakfast after early church service.

Nestled in an old Waffle House building. Might be seat yourself, I'm not sure. This was our first time visiting, so one of the staff pointed us in the right direction. Table was clean and they do have high chairs-- they were on wheels, which was pretty cool. We were given menus right away and our drink orders were taken. Coffee was hot and fairly standard for diner like coffee. Our waitress gave us a few minutes to puruse the menu and I settled on the La Casa Grande-- it came with two eggs, grits, hash browns, choice of meat, choice of bread, and two pancakes. I wasn't super crazy about the grits, but I'm picky about my grits. I found these to be more sweet than savory. I really enjoyed the potatoes though-- they came with peppers and onions. I chose bacon for my meat and it was great. Pancakes were delicious, though I wish they had come with butter. I ordered a biscuit with my meal and asked for butter and jelly to go with. Honestly, I really enjoyed everything but the grits! No idea what my husband ordered, but it came with ham, hash browns, choice of bread, and eggs. He seemed happy! Our daughter picked at everything, but mostly ate all my bacon lol. Staff was friendly and absolutely adored our daughter. We visit this area frequently, so we will most likely be back... also to try the French toast.

Great place to eat! Service was great! Waitress was very attentive and nice. Very happening place on a Sunday morning! We had breakfast and it was delicious. I had the country fried steak breakfast...oh my!! My sister had French toast. Was good but could be a bit better...not bad enough to bring it down a star. We will definitely be back!!

Not in the staff but there are some minor interior issues which could be addressed. As the dining area and service areas are open plan you can easily see the duct tape doors to the dishwashers area is in dire need of repair versus patching. Also it is rather filthy along the edges. The wall a/c unit also needs to be completely cleaned as it appears to have some grime building up. Now for the biggest disappointment ... our food. Coffee - yummy Country fried steak biscuit..... yea nope not again. It's just like it says just a huge very thin slice of commercial packaged frozen patty of country fried steak laid across an open faced biscuit. I had a side of fresh fruit. But it was mostly out of season fruit so not sweet and still underripe. Biscuit was light and fluffy but I had to order a piece of cheese and some gravy to hide the flavor of the meat and coating. Chicken and waffles - husband's favorite here but today it wasn't the same at all. Chicken was super dry inside. Waffles he described as no different than ones he makes at the hotel lobby. All in all we will wait some before returning to try again at some point. Thank you to the wait staff for always having smiles and helping each other to keep us happy.

This particular location anchors a small shopping plaza at the corner of Brookstone and Stilesboro Road. It occupies the corner, which allows for a good sized dining room that is across a couple of levels. We got a table in the corner on the lower level, which was perfect for us given we had a toddler with, so being tucked away from all the activity was clutch. This was my first visit to the brand, but my friends have come to love Reveille and seem to visit on a regular basis for breakfast and coffee. I went with the breakfast burrito, while my friends when with a classic breakfast. The burrito was tasty, and the classic breakfast hit the spot. The food was good, standard, but good. Service was decent. Our server was friendly and helpful, not the most efficient, but he acknowledged that, so we appreciate it. Overall, Reveille is a solid spot. No frills, just classic food.

He did work to prepare tables for us, although he seemed hesitant to combine all of the tables together for the group. Unfortunately, the floors were noticeably dirty, and the staff appeared to make a last-minute attempt to clean the area as we were being seated. Our server was kind and pleasant, but the service lacked attentiveness in several areas. A few members of our party were initially overlooked when orders were being taken, and some drinks never arrived without gentle reminders. On the positive side, everyone eventually received their meals. Now, the food itself? Absolutely amazing overall. The flavor, temperature, portion sizes, and quality were impressive. Most of our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The only consistent complaint came from a few people who ordered the French toast -- they felt it lacked flavor and thought the issue may have been more about the bread selection than the preparation itself. Despite the service and cleanliness concerns, this is still a spot worth trying. The staff would greatly benefit from additional customer service training -- smiling, checking on guests regularly, and maintaining engagement with customers goes a long way, especially when the restaurant is nearly empty. Our group was practically the only large party dining there for close to two hours. The cleanliness also needs immediate improvement. First impressions matter, and honestly, a food critic or health professional might have walked out based solely on the condition of the floors upon entry. That said, we're genuinely glad we chose Gritz as our 2026 Mother's Day Saturday brunch destination. The food made the experience worthwhile, and we absolutely plan to return. Hopefully management receives this feedback in the spirit it's intended -- constructive, honest, and hopeful for improvement.

We just saw it driving by and were hungry for breakfast. Price shock hit me. Yelp said $10-$20 per person and it was every bit of that and more for two breakfasts and two coffees. I guess that's not too much for a treat but I certainly couldn't afford that for breakfast on a regular basis. They were packed which was a good sign but the restaurant was chaotic. When you go in you get in line and order at the counter. Then they bring the food out. You can pick up a menu to look at while you wait in line. Service took a while but it was made to order and they were crowded. I got biscuits and sausage gravy and added eggs and a cinnamocha coffee. My wife got the avocado toastie with a praline mocha. The biscuits were ok. Not as good as what I make at home but not bad for store bought. A bit heavy not light or fluffy. But ok. At home I would have split my biscuit in half and put gravy on it open faced. They just pour gravy over the top. Not bad but changes the ratio of gravy to biscuit. The gravy is good. Not as good as what I make at home but good. Has a smokey hint that was different but really good. The avocado toast was good with a sunny side up egg that was cooked perfectly. Overall I can't go over 4 with the price. The food was good but not great. I am leaning more towards 3 stars than 4 but I will go 4 as the coffees were excellent.
