Decided we wanted to celebrate Pi day 3/14, with some good pizza, so we headed to Frank's Place. Had never tried the pizza there, and since we couldn't agree on toppings we ordered 2 different pizzas. (Could have done 1/2 and 1/2 but wanted different types of pizza). My dining partner tried the 9" version of the current special pizza which was Luca's Dolce Fuoco - "Luca's Sweet Fire' and was described as "Signature pizza sauce, spicy Italian sausage, peppadew peppers, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese and topped with Hot Honey ". She said it was very tasty, nice crispy crust and would definitely order it again. I tried the stuffed meat pizza. It only comes in 16". This pizza has 2 crusts, one on top and one on bottom and has sausage, ham & pepperoni. This is an interesting pizza and very good. Also very filling as it's like eating 2 pieces for every single piece. I have plenty of leftovers for the weekend. Overall, excellent food, great service, and atmosphere. Frank's Place is becoming my go to for Italian food in the area.

This is now my new favorite Italian restaurant place in Hendricks county. This is the first time we have been to this place and The taste is delicious and I love their homemade Italian dressing for the salad and their bread was just really super soft. They are located right on the main road and they have some parking space at the back of the restaurant. And the front of the restaurant. You just have to park on the main road. They are family friendly and business casual. The inside decor is just beautiful. When we went it was Christmas time so the decoration was christmasy. They do have some vegetarian options. I am unsure if they do have any vegan options. I don't remember seeing any outdoor seating, but they definitely do carry out. The team member who helped serve us was really amazing. They explained very clearly and we had any questions and they brought food on time and the food was hot which was very nice because we were there in the cold.

I was pleased from my first step into Frank's Place. The warmth and amazing fragrance that greeted me made my mouth water immediately! I had the Luca's Dolce Fouco Pizza which was simply devine! The White Lasagna was delicious too!! This is a great place for a date or dinner with friends!

I arrived at 12 noon on a Friday and was seated immediately. They were about half full in the dining room but it didn't seem like they were that busy. I found a parking place almost directly in front of the restaurant on the street. I did like glass topped tables. Even though it is a pizza place, they have a lot more to offer than just pizza, calzones, and salads. I thought about the Minestrone soup but I ended up ordering the Meat Lasagna. It was a pretty big portion and came with a pre buttered roll. The lasagna was excellent! It was loaded with meat, not overwhelmed with cheese and included a generous amount of marinara sauce. Service was great. Fast, prompt, and accurate. The restroom was clean and stocked. There is a wheelchair ramp from the sidewalk up to the level of the front door but the door might be a tad stiff for some people.

During the summer Danville Indiana does a First Friday cruise in on the square. We were there for the cruise in and decided to go to Frank's Place. We have been to this restaurant before but it had been many many years ago. From past visits I remembered that I liked the bruschetta so that is what I ordered. It was $10 for 6 pieces of toasted French bread with a mix of tomatoes olive oil and basil. It also come with feta cheese but I asked for it on the side cause my husband can't have dairy. I really enjoyed it. My husband ordered a small deluxe pizza with no cheese. It had a ton of toppings on it. They give every table complementary bread and olive oil dip. It was very tasty. The olive oil was flavorful but I have no clue what it was seasoned with. We were a group of five and walked in at 5:00 pm and were seated immediately. By the time we left the restaurant was packed and there we people waiting to be seated. I can see us returning next month when we are back for the cruise in.

Visited this location with some family over the summer. Overall, the experience was just ok, nothing special. Starting with the positives, the staff were incredibly nice, accommodating, and patient with our party of eight. They were quick to get us anything we needed, and checked in multiple times. We had two young children with us, and this was a great place to bring them. The location is really nice, and the restaurant itself is clean and well cared for. The food however, was a let down. It wasn't the worst, but definitely not the best in terms of Italian. There were some weird choices, such as drowning salad in shredded cheese (not even good cheese). The food lacked flavor (the gnocchi in tomato sauce), and some of the portions were small (the salmon & asparagus), especially for the price. Overall, this restaurant was ok. We might give it another shot in the future, to see if other dishes are better.

Amazing. Was really excited to try Frank's Place and it did not disappoint. Food was incredible. Our server Caitlin was fantastic. You get a lot of food with your meal. Started with the Caprese antipasti followed by the Torellini Salsa Avorio which was so good. It came with a salad to start which was very tasty. Will be back!

Went back to Frank's for a quick lunch. I had last been here for dinner. They have some great lunch deals. Most items are around $7.00 or less. I got a nice Stromboli with red sauce. It tasted great and was a perfect balance of the cheese veggies and sausage. Crust was good too. Cooked perfect. Service was also good very nice and fairly quick service given they are making and baking or cooking the items. I will definitely be returning for lunch one of the benefits from working from home.

Not as good as what I remembered from the first time we went here a few years back. My chicken and pasta was ok. Nothing special. My husband had the lasagna. Again nothing special. We really expected more from an Italian restaurant. The bread and oil was good.

Thus, I'm also trying to snag a few more reviews before my life returns to a bit more normalcy. I'd been curious about Danville's Two Guys Pies, a sister restaurant to The Beehive located in the same two-storefront strip center at the corner of Main Street and Indiana Street. Parking is a little tight here in a parking lot behind the restaurants. There are a couple accessible spots including one with a small aisle to allow for safe exit for wheelchairs. The parking spot is directly across from the building and there's a pretty good concrete ramp. I have noted there are times when longer vehicles block the somewhat narrow sidewalk just a bit. The last time I came to this building, I went to The Beehive and looked down and realized that Two Guys Pies would have been blocked had I wanted to go there. There's a couple glass doors. The dining room includes a bar area, a handful of traditional tables, and a few more booths. I really only saw a couple smaller tables (which I tend to take since I'm often dining alone), however, I was able to snag one. Two Guys Pies obviously specializes in pizza, however, they definitely have a more extensive menu. They advertise having the best salad bar in Hendricks County. There are appetizers, wings, sandwiches, wraps, pasta, calzones, rollers, bombs (I will admit I have no idea what bombs are), a kids menu, daily specials, family specials, and more. There's also lunch specials from 11am-2pm. I ordered a 7" pepperoni pizza (essentially a create-your-own option) along with two breadsticks along with unsweetened iced tea. The breadsticks came with cheese (I don't know if marinara was an option - this was delivered automatically). The pizza was definitely a thin crust. It was quite good and I would easily order it again. The menu says it comes with eight slices - just be aware it is only a 7" pizza. Those "slices"are smaller. The breadsticks were good, though I'm not sure I'd order them again at $2.99. You can order larger quantities. The service was welcoming. I enjoyed watching the atmosphere. It's clear it was a mixture of regulars and some maybe not so much so. The servers seemed relaxed with the customers. I liked that one older customer dining alone, in particular, seemed to get some definite human connection. The dining room has large windows. There are five widescreen televisions - all were showing sports, though there was some variation. I enjoyed this experience. You could also easily park at the town square and make it the one block east to Two Guys Pies. Service was great, the food was good, the prices were fair, the atmosphere was welcoming (though at least two kids acted like they'd never seen a wheelchair or an amputee before) and I'd easily return. While my time in Hendricks County is winding down, at a hard time in my life after my father's death I've enjoyed getting to know this small town a whole lot more.

Located on the western end of Avon, Pizzaville is in a strip center with Parlor Doughnuts in the parking lot, Hotcakes Emporium a handful of storefronts down and a couple other cool storefronts. In case it's not obvious, Pizzaville specializes in pizza. They offer dine-in, carry-out, and delivery in select areas. They also cater special events. One of the things I noticed was large signage indicating a lunch buffet during the week ($11.99). There's accessible parking almost directly in front. The main entrance offers a weird ramp up to the door - despite having a ramp, I'd actually say it's not accessible because the ramp is at such a weird angle. I was able to get in, however, it took effort. It's much easier if you approach it from the parking lot rather than the sidewalk. Once you enter, you arrive at the ordering spot. The dining room is to your left. The decor is simple yet clean. As I recall, they serve Coke products. They do have Gold Peak Unsweetened Iced Tea in the fountain. They do also have some canned/bottled offerings. While I arrived on a weekend (no buffet), there was a $6.99 special that included a mini-pizza up to 3-toppings and a fountain drink. The prices can definitely go up, though I found pricing quite fair and definitely quite good. They have a handful of sides - I was tempted by breadsticks, but they are $5.99. I read a couple reviews indicating it's a pretty big serving - so, I held off this time. I ordered a mini-pizza with sausage and pepperoni along with my fountain drink. They were friendly and offered help. The mini-pizza is basically a "personal" pizza and it's on the smaller side. I was pleased with it and would easily order it again. I believe there's a side room you can reserve. There's single user bathrooms with grab bars. I can't quite go to a 5-star here. I enjoyed the meal immensely and will easily return. This is a solid 4-star experience with good quality and good value. I arrived late in the lunch hour - business was pretty light, though it was steady. I'm enjoying my journey through Hendricks and Putnam County. While it was initiated by a sad experience, it's introducing me to the communities of Avon, Danville, and Coatesville and I'm really enjoying that. If you're looking for a new pizza buffet experience, this is a solid one to try from Monday-Friday during lunch. Otherwise, they still have great specials and for those on a budget you can eat for under ten bucks by using specials.

It was very flavorful and tasty. The calzone was really good, too. The cheese was oozing out. They have a happy hour from 3 to 5 every weekday, where patrons get a percentage off their total check.
