Roy was incredibly nice on the phone and arranged to send two men on Monday morning. He and Josh arrived in Gonzales right on time, loaded up my stuff, drove an hour and a half to San Antonio, then moved me into my new apartment in under four hours. They also unloaded my parents' pick-up truck full of furniture and boxes. It was an absolute miracle. They were nice, efficient, and unbelievably strong. One of the pieces they moved was a 200+ pound dresser/vanity, and they made it look easy! I HIGHLY recommend Wrangler Moving! This review is almost 3 weeks late, but I appreciated your help more than you know. Thank you SO much for all your help!

Day 2 they took 13 hours to move half of a house with two small trailers. They also had no tools and had to use ours (simple drills, screwdriver etc). Keep in mind we paid to have them disassemble and assemble in the one day move. They ruined a brand new mattress with grease hand stains, and did not put our front door back on hinges properly. And to boot...they quoted $4,700 for the move and then hit us with a $5,300 bill, saying their guys worked 30 mins over the quote. The main issue being that they took longer because we had to unpack and find our tools to allow them to use. ***edit to respond to Victoria*** This response is a perfect example of the miscommunication and lack of professionalism. Nobody ever requested to leave a tv up. The day of packing, my husband was playing Xbox and said "whenever yall need to pack this let me know and I'll shut this down". This is also when we discovered that they did not have any tools to remove the TV, so, the TV wasn't going to be removed either way that day. Nobody was ever asked to "make beds" but we paid to have them put together (assembled). The movers also were not met with hostility. You had a group of young men with neck tattoos talking and bragging about their time in prison in front of everyone (including our children). My husband did the responsible thing, which was to address the staff as a whole. I'll mention he also tipped each one $100 bill at the end. We did this because it was apparent that the fault was on managment and not the individuals. They came both days unprepared without proper tools. Two separate groups of movers on two different days being paid to pack, dis-assemble and re-assemble furniture. (How is that possible?) Nobody was ever "cussed out" in person or on the phone. My husband called the very next morning and left a voicemail for the owner that was never returned. This response and lack of accountability again proves why I would never recommend this company.

The crews were amazing and they ran almost the entire time. I have used them for apartment and house moves. They are now under new ownership and it shows. They showed up and got started but don't have the right tools to break down the single bed. I had to provide tools, but they they still stripped out the screws on the bed frame and I had to finish, so it didn't get any worse. The same thing happened for the table, they didn't have the right tools and stripped the screws. I had asked them to wrap the furniture and tvs as this was all going into a storage. They had wrap but ran out after wrapping 2 pieces as they only brought a single roll that was almost out. Everything was boxed and ready aside from the furniture, This was a 1 bedroom apt that was 700+ sq feet. They took 6 hours and $900 to move a 1 bedroom apartment. I had a 2 story 2800 sq foot house moved by the previous crews in 5 hrs and paid significantly less. They did a really poor job of unloading into the storage. I have boxes that are being crushed and have already had to rent another unit to unpack and repack correctly. The last part of these transaction was a problem also. As i was paying with a credit card i was told that there is a 3% additional fee. I was advised I should have been told when i booked that cc had an additional fee. Seeing as my checks were packed I got stuck with the fee. After a much longer than normal move, much higher cost, and unprepared movers I would definitely not recommend anyone using them again.

In fact, one was just doing it as a favor to the owner who was a personal friend. I tipped them because I'm a good person and because they were nice however... they completely destroyed my wood floors by dragging furniture. Two of the three guys on day one showed up really sick or hung over and looked like he was going to die the entire time. On day two I had only two guys. When I reached out to the owner, he told me he forwarded my complaint to the workers. They were surprised because I tipped them. I felt like that was completely unprofessional and defensive instead of taking ownership. I sent videos and photos of our floors and didn't even get an apology. I fell for the "give back to the community " speech the owners wife gave but could have saved so much money and time using a professional company.

On the date of my service, a crew of three arrived and told me that their manager, the company owner, had decided that my job did not need the crew I booked. This job ended up taking around 10 hours, so a crew of four was definitely warranted. I was not informed of this decision before the crew arrived nor was I given an opportunity to reaffirm that I still wanted the full booking. I was never, in fact, communicated with by the owner about this change. As this crew was over-worked and tired, they did not get to loading my appliances until mid-afternoon. I have a front-load washing machine and I provided the crew with the moving bolts prior to the job, placing them on top of the machine. I also verbally reminded the team to use these and received a confirmation. I later, after they had left, found these moving bolts on a counter in another room. No one on the team notified me that they forgot and failed to follow my instructions. Upon unloading this machine in my new residence, the suspension was destroyed, leaving the washing machine a total loss. I reached out to this company to notify them that their inefficient management of their staff and the resulting negligence of an over-tired team resulted in a loss that I had provided my due diligence to prevent and requested that the cost of a replacement of this machine be compensated to us. In return I got an email from the owner of this company with a plethora of information to attempt to gaslight me in to believing that moving bolts are not necessary when moving a front-load washing machine at any other time than putting it on its side (which is very much not what the manual itself states). He requested we have an appliance repair company look at the machine and stated he would go from there. We did reach out to a repair company, who did question the use of the moving bolts and also noted that the cost to repair the machine exceeded the cost of a replacement. I provided this information, along with numerous supporting documents, and again requested that the replacement cost be compensated to us. I received no response from this company until I brought to his attention that he is currently operating with a revoked certificate from the Texas DMV. He offered me $135 for the loss of my washing machine, did not offer to cover the cost of appliance service at his request, and noted that he would not be communicating with me further. On each occasion that I reached out to this company to resolve this issue that is a result of their negligence I made it clear that I would have liked to resolve this without escalating to DMV mediation, online reviews/complaints, or other available routes. I was told that this would be a waste of my time, and at no point did the owner of this company have any explanation as to why he is presenting his company as licensed when they are NOT CERTIFIED TO DO SO by the state of Texas. The team also left three guns unsecured in the trucks. At no point was the owner of this company apologetic or concerned about this lapse in procedure. Every aspect of resolving this issue with this company has been uncooperative and aggressive. The owner of this company has refused to cooperate with me to find an agreeable resolution to their mistake and has chosen to childishly ignore me instead. Do not, under any circumstances, use this company as they are not licensed/certified to do operate in the state of Texas currently. They advertise that they are licensed, insured, and professional and only the insurance part appears to be accurately represented. I'm willing to update this review if my issue is resolved, my emails are replied to in a professional manner, or the complaints filed with the Texas DMV and BBB are replied to. Unfortunately, though, this will be a more time-consuming issue that I have been forced to escalate to mediation (which is free for consumers, should you also need this).
