Staff made the use of my vision plan simple, getting the details in advance and having that end of things all figured out before I arrived. The optometrist (Tracey) performing my exam was friendly, professional and efficient. Optometrists are a husband wife team, James and Tracey, who clearly care about their patients eye health. I definitely recommend James Tracey Eye Care.

Dr Sara and Dr Tracey were both very patient and careful with me. Glasses took longer than expected to come in, however worth the wait. One staffer at Wyckoff seemed a little distracted, but otherwise both locations provided me with excellent care. Travis at MP and Rich at Wyckoff were also patient and acted like they cared that I got the lenses I needed. Each location also gave me a little bit of a discount on minor things - very appreciated, as they did not have to do this. (I did get 3 pairs of glasses in addition to the IPL treatments, so I spent some cash there). Yes they are more expensive, but in my opinion you get what you pay for. Thoroughly recommend. Bonnie H.

Dr. Seyam is not only highly knowledgeable but also genuinely caring. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the entire visit. It's rare to find a doctor who combines clinical expertise with such patience and attentiveness. The exam was thorough, and I never felt rushed. Dr. Seyam's attention to detail and commitment to patient care really stand out. The staff was also fantastic--friendly, organized, and very helpful with scheduling and insurance. If you're looking for an eye doctor who is skilled, compassionate, and truly invested in your eye health, I highly recommend Dr. Seyam and Wayne EyeCare. An all-around excellent experience!

I asked for them to be…read morereplaced with another pair as it is clear the frame is no good and it will continue happening. Shah agreed to the price of $90 to replace my defective ones. I get a call 2 weeks later to let me know that my glasses were ready to be picked up and that I had a balance of $200. Her receptionist (probably the 4th I've known to work there since I've seen her) said the doctor won't come to the phone to further discuss this discrepancy. Only after I started posting bad reviews did she call to say she'd give me the frame and with a much cheaper lens for $99.99. I won't give her one more cent of my money. Don't bother with this place. Go to another place the stands behind the products they sell and that hold some degree of professionalism. Her frame selection is awful too, so don't waste your time. I should have ran out of there the minute I walked in. It never felt right and now I know why. Whatever you do, get it in writing because the people there keep switching and Shah won't keep her word.

Have you ever wondered why the protective coating on your prescription glasses will start to crack,…read morelook scratched, or fade in certain areas? I brought this problem to two different eye doctors, who all swore that it's some defect with the lens and that the lens I buy from THEM wouldn't do it. Yeah right... So when I walked into More Eyecare and mentioned this problem, Irving had an answer for me right away.* The customer service here was above and beyond amazing. Irving was the one who walked me around and this guy is SO willing to take the time to discuss frames and lenses and anything else about eyes with you. He really knows his stuff and is happy to make recommendations and keep things within a certain price range. So... I walked in thinking of only ordering a pair of lenses for my current frame. I walked out having bought the lens PLUS three pairs of sunglasses.** Although I was fine with the prior shape of my lens (I have a frameless, so the shape can differ), Irving went out of his way to suggest frames that will better job of complementing my face. He even went so far as to cut a sample pair of lens for me at half prescription so that I could see how it looked. Of course, this new shape looked better, and I was thrilled with it. Once we were set on the shape, hubby and I headed to the nearby mall while Irving went to cut the real lens. They then spent almost an hour helping me adjust the fit and bend of my glasses. As for the decor - It's not a huge store, but there are plenty of chairs, and a large comfy leather sofa in the middle of the room. There are two back rooms, both with sinks and a small tray of contact lens fluid and free contact lens containers for if you need to take them out, rinse them, or anything else. When I started to use the already opened contact lens cleaning fluid (which was close to empty), Irving said I didn't need to use that one and then he gave me a new unopened box of contact cleaning fluid that I could use there and then take home. The store has been quite busy on the weekends that I've been there, but no customer service is ever sacrificed. Chung, who is the owner of the store also works there and he's a bit more quiet and doesn't talk as much, but he knows his stuff just as well. This place is not open on Sundays, but there is another More Eyecare in Ridgewood*** that is open on Sundays. I've seen lots of people just walk in and ask to have some small aspect of their glasses/sunglasses fixed. I don't believe that each pair was bought from this store, but it doesn't matter to Irving and Chung. They are happy to help and are great at building a relationship with their customers and any potential customers that walk into the store. Lastly - Irving sold me on this new type of protective coating for my glasses that is dust and fingerprint resistant. I was hesitant because it costs about $75 more, but it was SO worth it! less cleaning, less smudges, I can touch my lens w/ my finger and not get prints. AMAZING. Also, if you have some discounts with your insurance, the price difference drops a bit too. 2 year warranty on the coating so if anything happens**** I can just bring it back to More Eyecare and they'll make me a new pair of lens. With this kind of customer service, I don't doubt that the procedure will be a breeze, should it be necessary. Lastly - depending on what you get and how many things you buy, there may be some room for negotiation on some of the prices. Not guaranteeing anything, but, yeah... you should definitely visit this store. ------------------------------------------------- * You'll have to visit his store to get the answer***** ** In my defense, one of the pairs of sunglasses was for my husband, and the other was a specialized clip-on for my prescription glasses. *** I think it's Ridgewood NJ ... Google Maps says the place exists, so that's good. **** See ***** below for the possible things that could "happen" to cause problems with the coating on the lens. ***** Just kidding - the reason the coating cracks or scratches is because you can't run the glasses under hot water to wash them. It must always be cold and must be cleaned w/ a nice paper towel thingy. Don't use the soft cloths they give you with your glasses for dust. Only use those for finger prints or smudges because the dust will collect in the cloth and cause scratching the next time it's used.
