Thankful I found this local optician. Janet the owner was so helpful and ethical. Another store we…read morewent to before for another pair of glasses did not tell us the truth of what our plan covered. The other store told us that under our insurance we could only choose from his small ugly display of frames. So I went and bought the frames discounted online. Found franklin lakes store for the lenses and she explained my insurance plan would cover up to 150.00 frames that covered the nice Ray Ban frames with a 20 or 30 dollar copay. I'm returning my online frames and buying the insurance covered ones from her. Appreciate her honesty. Will be returning for all family frames and lenses. She has a decent selections of good looking frames as well

I will never go anywhere else for eye glasses again. I have always been happy with the service…read moreJanet has provided but today she went above and beyond. I had my prescription filled and called her mid morning about a week and a half later to see if I could pick up my glasses that day. I was driving to CT the next day and did not want to drive home at night without glasses. Janet promised I would have the glasses by end of day but they were not delivered to her. She had the lab rush them after hours and delivered to my home at 8:30 pm so I could leave in the morning for my daughter's. This is personal service you would never get any where else. Thank you Janet I will be sure to recommend you to all of my friends.

High Mountain Eyecare is simply great! My appointment was at 11:30, but I arrived early around…read more11:10. The office staff was very kind and welcoming, which made things easy. I was a new patient so had to hand in some paperwork, and they needed my insurance card, and all went smoothly. The office looked brand new and was extremely clean. I saw Dr. Corrente who provided a very thorough exam. I loved their technology as my previous eye doctor just had an old-fashioned eye chart projector. This place had different colors and different ways of testing that were really cool. Dr. Corrente patiently answered all of my questions. She took the time to explain things simply that I didn't fully understand. I was even sent home with free samples (3 pairs of each) of two types of daily contacts! Overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend High Mountain Eyecare to anyone looking for a new/better eye doctor! I will certainly be going back to Dr. Corrente for all of my future eye appointments.

Horrible customer service. My 83 year old mother had an appointment today. I called 2 months ago to…read moreverify insurance. It was all verified. My mother gets to the appointment by a ride service and the receptionist said they don't take the insurance and that she has been out for 6 weeks and there was someone else taking the calls. The person taking the calls made a mistake. They should have owned their mistake. Not a good business practice. Go somewhere else if you have a choice.

As the song says "Was blind but now I see." Dr. Sinatra and her team are amazing. Everyone was…read moresuper nice and caring. Patiently answered all of my questions. I was 100% blind in my left eye and about 40% blind in my right eye from cataracts. Now I have 20.20 in my left eye and 20/25 in my right. I am not even using reading glasses anymore. 1. She cares about the well-being of her patients. 2. She is extremely skilled and well regarded. 3. Her team is well organized and are top professionals. 4. The same day surgery was painless and effortless, not even irritation. 5. All of the insurance paperwork was handled effortlessly.

I had an appointment with Dr. Sinatra, (the owner) who told me their office was a "tier one"…read moreinsurance coverage. Later, I found out they were actually a "tier two insurance plan." That might sound small, but it felt misleading--especially once the rest of the visit unfolded. Dr. Sinatra diagnosed me with a staph infection in my eye and prescribed a strong antibiotic (doxycycline) that I was supposed to take for a full month. It didn't sit right with me, so I went to Eyes On Ramsey for a second opinion. The doctor there was amazing--super professional and thorough--and told me I didn't need antibiotics at all, just a simple steroid drop to be administered for a week. Total relief! But here's the real kicker: A YEAR later, they billed an additional $1,000 for simply removing an eye lash or makeup brush bristle off my upper eye lid! Something I could've done myself by simply wiping my eye . I was shocked! It honestly felt like they were trying to take advantage of me (and how strange to bill me a year later?) Long story short: Misrepresented their facility Prescribed unnecessary and strong medication Charged an outrageous fee for wiping a piece of debris off my eye lid and called it a "medical procedure" Please, do your research and don't be afraid to get a second opinion. We all deserve honest, competent care--without the surprise bills or scare tactics. I'm happy to answer questions if anyone wants to know more. I Just want to keep others from going through the same thing.
