4.5 We opted to go here after seeing rhe line for the BBQ place around the corner. Service was fast, tho you find a seat then go to the counter to pay ahead of time. The food was good though I must have been the only to ask for a burger with no bun. Parking is on the street.

In small town McGregor Franklin beer works. Stopped in to grab a beer and check out the new place. The place was clean. The staff was friendly and had a nice selection of home brewed beer. I had the pineapple express IPA taste great. I would highly recommend this place if you want to take a small trip from Waco. The price on the beer was reasonable. So the next time you wanna take a small trip out from Waco Texas stop on by this little diamond in Texas.

We have been a few times to this place and it never disappoints. Beer is cold with many choices and food is amazing and is served fast. Service is spot on always making sure you're taken care of! High recommend for date night or just to get out and try something new.

We ordered the 20" for two and it was more than enough for two guys that can eat a lot. The slices are huge so if you want more slices you can ask for a double cut and it'll make the pizza go even further for a table of more people. The pizza is extra hot when it comes out and oddly it tastes better as the cheese cools and solidifies. It isn't bad when you get it. It gets BETTER. Ranch is free which is not the norm these days so dip away! Service was fast and efficient even tho they were busy. Whole pizzas so take about 30 minutes but slices are always available to purchase. My only suggestion to the kitchen is to have all good timed to come out at the same time. We had someone with us that ordered pasta that came out about 15 minutes before the pizza came out and we told to eat before their food got cold.

I've had the Chicken Parmesan pasta, the Margherita pizza, and the Pepperoni pizza. Each of them was above average. The Chicken Parmesan came with a nicely breaded and cheese-covered piece of chicken with spaghetti and two pieces of garlic toast. It was good, though it could have used a little more red sauce. Pizzas are available as 20" or 14" pies, and certain ones you can get by the slice. The crust is medium thickness, light, with a soft core and a crispy outside. The Margherita was good but I preferred the Pepperoni. Overall, both pizzas were above average. I especially liked the crispiness of the outside of the crust. They also have salads and wings. Dessert consists of cheesecake or funnel cake fries. I haven't tried any of these yet. There is an inside dining area, a bar area, and an outdoor patio area. The inside is shared with Common Grounds coffee shop and Heritage Creamery ice cream shop, a couple of other local favorites.

It was a little busy due to the holiday but we enjoyed the old world like atmosphere bar tavern set up they have. We got a bottle of champagne to have mimosas with our meals. I got the delicious schnitzel Benedict. Loved it but next time I'll ask for the sauce on the side. I would have liked the traditional hollandaise. But it was a good twist. The potatoes were yummy. My husband had the schnitzel waffles. he ate the whole plate. So it's a winner. He said we can come back. So I again look forward to exploring more of the menu and having some beers. I mean pivo. The connected hotel is wonderful (there is a separate Yelp listing to review it). How amazing is it to stay at an operating brewery? The old-world European charm and flavor can be felt throughout. An elevated brewery pub, if you will. The decor definitely lends to that vibe. The food is really good and I dare to compare it to food we've had in Germany. I also love that they do a playful fusions of sorts with Texas & Czech foods. For example, the Czexan Potted Beer Cheese has a combo of sausages, peppers, meats, breads, and a cheese spread made with Czech beer. Perfect appetizer for two people and then some. My boyfriend loves the Texan Pocket Schnitzel. It's fried pork filled with jalapeños, ham, and cheese, served with mashed potatoes. I like the classic, authentic version of this. They do a fine job! I also love the Bavarian pretzel. It comes with a couple of different dipping sauces. Incredible beer pours that pair nicely with any of the meal options. We shared a flight that consisted of four different lagers. They also offer whiskey flights, brandy flights, wine flights, and cocktails. We didn't have dessert but I'm interested in the crème brûlée cheesecake next time 'round. Between staying at the hotel and eating at the restaurant, it was truly an experience that made me feel like we were back in Europe. Gotta hit up the beer spa next time too!

Smoke Signals Bamberg (Smoked Lager) was ok however it had no smoke notes; so while good as a beer, it was a style mismatch of sorts. Azacca Hazy (Single Hop Hazy) was ok.
