This was my favorite place nearly a decade ago when I came regularly. They even had a membership rewards program. Now it is well past time to invest in some major equipment and cleaning overhauls. Brought my car in for a "Take Flight". The man taking the car gave me a slip for "Ben's Basic." I tried to explain that I ordered Take Flight because i wanted the undercarriage after all the salt and the wax. He just kept saying yes yes. So I ran into the man at the desk before my car went through and he was an older man who is American and fluent in English and I was shocked at the terrible customer service. He said he couldn't do anything about it. I explained the most important part was getting the undercarriage done. He blamed the misunderstanding on the fact that, "Nobody here speaks English." There's nothing I can do. I asked why I couldn't just pay the extra cost of $8.00 and send the car through again for the undercarriage and wax. At first, that didn't seem like an option. I explained that I didn't want to pay the full $22.00 to send the car through for what I wanted after paying for the Basic car wash which I didn't want. He just kept saying that I was getting the basic and there was nothing he could do. I explained that his excuse of no one speaking English was not my fault as the customer and most businesses could easily fix this issue. He said it wasn't his fault no one spoke English and he couldn't do anything. After I told him that it seemed this was horrible customer service he did let me pay the extra $8.00 and sent me back to the entrance to talk to the guys and have one of them come up to him at the desk. Really? If they don't speak English how am I supposed to do that? I did find one of the guys at the entrance and got him to follow me up to the older man at the desk. Apparently, the man at the desk had called in this really nice lady and explained to her. Her name is Gladys and she was FANTASTIC. I kind of picked up negativity when he told me that no one there spoke English. Thought that was kind of insulting to the workers. Well, I can tell you Gladys spoke Perfect English! She understood completely what I was saying - that the undercarriage was the most important part with all the salt and that's why I wanted to pay the difference and run it through for just the under carriage and wax. She took over and her customer service was fantastic. She actually drove it through herself and did the entire Take Flight. I'd give her ten stars! She should be the one who deals with the customers. In two minutes she took what was horrible customer service to stellar customer service. She reflects fantastically on the business. The older man behind the desk who only works a couple days a week from what I understand reflects so poorly on the business that he should not have contact with the public. Hence, the one star! They need to put more money into this place upgrade the equipment. It's not a terrible car wash, but it definitely needs some upgrading.

I don't even understand how this is a car wash. I specifically asked for interior vacuuming and the end result is in the pictures. What a waste of money. Had car washed this past week. I remove all contents so there is nothing obstructing the cleaning of the inside - except that the windshield and seats were not cleaned. Sent a message to Franklin on their site, requesting a response. The response was simply a copy of what I had sent - no apology - nothing. A solid three stars. Usually good job for a basic or mid-level wash. Can't say I'm really impressed but it gets the car mostly clean with little effort from me. Guessing they have had staffing issues like everyone else as every time I go it seems to be different faces. I really like a clean car and every time I leave just a little disappointed (like, debris still in the cup holder, or carpets only cursorily vacuumed), so after my ten-wash book is up I'll probably try a few other places. read more

Hi. Their site indicates that they are open until 5 pm week nights. However they want to go home by 5 so they close down the services beforehand. I rushed to get there and I was there at 4:53 pm and all of their cones were up already. All they can say is "lo siento"which means I am sorry in Spanish. Update: after my first review the management reached out to me. I was asked of my experience and given two gift certificates- one car wash, one interior detail. I went this morning to use the interior detail and give the company another shot. I got there at 11 am. I was told I couldn't get the detail (it takes 15-20 minutes according to their sign) because two other people in front of me got it. Basically they took the detail guys and put them washing cars leaving the detail area understaffed. When I asked if this was common, I was told, well sometimes. So I used the car wash gift certificate. Yes my car is cleaner but not what it should be. Trunk not vacuumed. Water left on car. Basic wipe down not done. I can't understand how they stay in business. read more

Jumping on here to give another great review for Franklin Auto Spa. I stopped in for a quick wash and caught them at a time there was no line which is rare. I decided to get an express Super detailing for the inside of my truck. The wait was 20 minutes if that and now my interior looks and smells like it just rolled off the lot on day one. The exterior wash was included and my tires were also detailed. Thank You you again to Franklin Auto Spa. I also renewed my wash wallet for my next year of washes. I just moved here from Orlando and so my car was fairly messy. I jumped in and got the nearly $30 wash/interior clean to jump start my unpacked car. Needless to say they had my car finished in about 5minutes flat. I have a dog and don't really expect them the get every hair. Passenger seat had a notebook on it, they didn't even bother to move it to vacuum the seat, windows and dashboard were left totally untouched. I had to ask them to do it again, they chuckled and said they already did it. After I went inside and told someone at the register about it, another man went out to deal with the issue. Just left and my seat is still a mess. As I was getting into my car the one man proceeded to tell me I need new window tint if I want clean windows. My tint has a few new scrapes from my move (crammed boxes) however, they are fine. He also said he would need to use a razor to clean them because they are so bad (it had dog nose prints on them). Who uses a razor to clean tinted windows? Clearly they are not knowledgeable. Oh and to top it off, I have this stupid, silly, bobble head on my dashboard of a corgi... first turn I made leaving there the head fell off... come on guys. What the hell. I will never be returning there again. Terrible quality of work, and even worse at trying to fix the problem. Don't waste your money on something you could have done better yourself. read more

After recommendations to take my sons car there he made an appointment took the car and they did an amazing job on the inside of the car but when we got the car back we noticed a dent in multiple scratches on the car. We reported it right away the girl says she'd have to notify your manager after a couple days talk to a manager was told to bring the car in on a certain date that they arrived and we get a call saying there's no manager on duty that they had to reschedule. This place is the worst place ever.. I decided to give it a second try as they gave me a promo wash after my first terrible experience. It's always busy here but they are focused on getting cars through quickly instead of quality. Franklin Auto Spa could be an amazing car wash if the owner spent time training employees how to do quality and quantity. Horrible car wash and terrible service from the manager. Long story short.. I had a sawdust vacuum bag in the bed of my truck. I asked the attendant if it was ok if it stays in there & he said it was. Well the bag opened up and saw dust got all over my truck. The manager was yelling at me and refused to clean my car. Even after I explained that his employee said it was ok. He told me I was responsible for other vehicles damage if any and told me to call the police. I wouldn't of even went there but my dealership gave me a free voucher. I'm not an expert with car washes but I'm pretty sure your car should be cleaner after the service. read more

Bad business, shady workers. Arrived at the auto spa without a crack in my windshield. Left the auto spa with a huge crack in my windshield. Who comes into a car wash wishing to leave with a cracked windshield? Nobody. Auto spa claims "nothing touches the windshield during the wash." False statement. I took my car to the dealership for them to assess the crack. The dealership said there was no impact on the crack due to stones and may be pressure from something during the car wash. I had to request camera footage multiple times from the auto spa. The only thing I received was a picture of my car before it went into the tunnel to be washed; and of course, there was not a crack in my windshield. The owner/partner of the company said they have washed over 19k cars this year, and this has never happened. Congratulations, there's a first for everything. It was me versus a few men discussing this cracked windshield. I believe they are giving me a hard time, because I am a female and they think they can wash away this issue. This car wash is worth the drive. They have packages that include interior cleaning along with your wash, and the service is great. They vacuum out the car quite well, and they also wipe down the windows and dash from inside. It makes your car feel like new. It's not the same as a detail, but for 12-15 bucks, it's really worth it for me. The staff are all friendly and hard working, and they get the job done quickly. I'll be trying out a full $150 detail package this fall, so we'll see how that goes! This isn't your place to get a weekly cheap car wash, although they do have package deals for unlimited monthly washes if that suits you. So good when first opened but a steady decline in basic car washing ever since! I'm done wasting $22 on a wash that consistently falls short. The bottom half of the car is never cleaned from the machine and the driers ignore it as well. Short staffed do a rush to get car in and out as quick as possible! They are more interested in selling additional services to wax your car than just washing it. Well continues to disappoint , inconstant and more concerned w business they get from Toyota dealership than general public. This was my third time here. It's a fairly new facility. It's very clean with nice touches like Soap Blasters for the kids and REALLY nice lounge chairs while you wait. It used to be Duke's Firehouse Car Wash (Which was not so good) The new set up is MUCH nicer. No more DIY vacuums, they do it for you. The staff are always very nice and they do a very good job at a reasonable price. It's a little further away from my house, but I think it's worth the extra couple of miles. read more

Don't ever use this car wash. They damaged my car while it was being dried outside of the car wash and when confronted of the damage, they called me a liar and said it was a pre-existing condition. The good: they put soap and water on my car. The bad: everything else. Easily the WORST car wash I've ever been to. This is my second review on Yelp in 10 years but it was so bad I had to. I paid $26 for the "Lightning Strike" wash thinking if I paid for the best, the wash would be a little bit better. I was WAY wrong. My car came out filthy. Then the guy drying my car spent about 30 seconds on it. He tried to tell me he was done without doing tire shine which was supposedly included. If I could give this place zero stars I would! I brought my Jeep here for a quick detail. When they drove it around there were superficial scratches on my passenger door. Those were NOT there prior to me coming here. When I said something I got nothing but attitudes. They accused me of driving my car into a wall and there is no way that happened at their establishment. Also decided to protect the car with the bulletproof coating that was suggested by there staff, could not be happier. I have tried a couple other car washes in the area but none live up to Franklin Auto Spa. I appreciate the fact that they are fast and good quality. If you want a wash with full interior and exterior perfection and no water marks or anything you have to get the express detail. I feel that is the same at any other car wash. You get what you pay for. I have gotten the interior detail before and it was amazing. My car looked like new! It was done quickly (about 20 minutes). I also appreciate their customer service. One time I did have an issue there and they immediately resolved it. I have recently moved away from the area but still drive the extra distance for their services. Highly recommend! read more
