I've always loved this place. I consider it one of W NY's hidden gems. Prompt service and old school ambiance. They used to have the most amazing apple spice donuts, so . stopped by to get one and was disappointed: it had very little filling. I wouldn't even be upset if the part I had already eaten had any, but my first big bite was completely dry. I liked them so much I ordered another to see if it was a fluke. It was the same. This time I informed them and they said because of the chunks of apple, sometimes the filling nozzle gets clogged and gave me some filling. The auto cappuccino is as good as any gas station coffee. Their other donuts have never disappointed and the breakfast sandwiches are good. read more

We grabbed carry out from Frankie's, and it was great. They heated up the pizza for us (they sell by the slice, but we bought a whole pepperoni, plus two slices of mushroom). We also grabbed a dozen doughnuts for the next morning, but the didn't all make it til morning. The cherry and blueberry cake ones were the favorites. This was a perfect to go meal to take back to the hotel. read more

Okay- unknown to me this place serves more than donuts. However, we came in just for donuts. Frankie's did not disappoint! The donuts were really good and a good value. The counter was run by April- she was very efficient and friendly. She has been there for a long time. Donuts were delicious, and the shop was not fancy, but definitely comfortable. Totally recommend Frankie's Donuts. read more

Doughnuts were really good. The pizza was also great. The crust is pillowy and airy; but has a great crunch. Had a nice local vibe to it. Everyone inside was friendly and had our order to us quickly. read more

Frankie's Donuts hit the spot for a breakfast snack while staying in Niagara Falls, USA. The service was A+, speedy & friendly. The cute little coffee & donut shoppe was the atypical counter dining with televisions playing in each corner. There was an array of delicious donut options, the kids were super happy. Fairly priced- especially for a touristy town! read more

This establishment is not in a great area. There was a sign at the counter not to ask for cigarettes, rides, or free food/drinks- if that tells you anything. the donuts are not in a case and flies were flying all around them landing on them, and the pizza is equivalent to something you would get at a school cafeteria. The service was ok- one of the ladies working was very nice. However when we initially got there- there was a man at a booth in the corner watching tv- he looked rough and we thought he might have been homeless- and then he got up and went behind the counter- we were shocked. I guess he worked there because he started doing things and the staff just went on about like normal. We came here because of good reviews and I'm convinced the owner has family and friends making the positive posts because there is NO WAY it's rated as well as it is. read more

I'm giving it many thanks for remaining open 24/7; I go to work so early, the chain donut shops have not yet opened. Half a block from Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center? I can only imagine how many dozens of their beautiful donuts land on nurse's desks! I also purchased a gallon box of coffee for $33.00: This was very well received with the donuts. How good were they? *Demolished* in four hours. read more

A great place to stop by for a quick breakfast or meal, with their great donuts making anyone happy with their dessert treat! They make their own donuts on the premises, and very busy at almost all hours! Whenever we are in the area, a stop at Frankie's is always a treat! They do sell a plastic ziploc bag of donuts for a nice low price. Frankie's is no longer open 24 hours, having changed their hours a few months ago, now closing at midnight. This donut and pizza diner has been a iconic landmark for over 40 years!! read more

We were visiting the area and I wanted to try the famed Buffalo Peanut Stick. I wasn't particularly impressed by the one I ate, but the Boston Cream donut was fresh, full of cream and fried perfection! Frankie's is small mom and pop shop. The donuts are delicious!!!! This was the FIRST time my husband and I tried a Paczki donut that was recommended by our Uber driver and he even stopped us here on the way to the train station and it was sooooooo good! Yelp. Went to Frankie's, y'all done sold all the donuts and opened 25/8? Well, that's what the sign says, but where are the donuts. Its 3:00 pm! Regular glaze? Out. Chocolate? Out. Well, I will take the bow tie and a red velvet cake donut. Now, this bow tie thang is moist and good. Cake donut is okay. You are delicious. Lady at the checkout, you could smile, since y'all out of stuff! I think a smile would make me at least feel better. We came back! Now, I see you neutral to the locals too. Cause, I sense attitude from this lady in the back. Girl, I'm from out of town, learn to give every customer love cause these donuts are mediocre. Y'all already know, Imma leave it. read more

Hey Frankie...what's the secret ingredient?! These donuts really hit the spot. When planning our trip to Niagara Falls, Frankie's made it to the top of our list with it's impressive menu of sweet doughs. Our first trip (yes there were two), we got an assorted box of 6...I think my boyfriend and I could agree we liked all of them besides one. Not too bad of a ratio, right?! There was no way we were leaving town without bringing a box home, so we got a dozen...they were that good. Didn't hurt that the establishment has a "buy 2, get 1" donut deal that seems to be offered daily. Additionally I tried the BEC on a roll...I'm more of a savory gal in the AM. I don't know if they make the rolls in-house or what, but it was amazing! And so was the sandwich, as a whole. Now for the store front: you walk in and it just has that small town vibe. Quite small, but also semi-blocked off for covid safety. 2pm Regulars chatting it up over coffee. It's what you'd hope to expect from a shop that's open "25/8." read more

I was at the outlet mall and decided to stop for a donut. I swear it is difficult to find a GOOD donut. Anywho, this place is in like a stip area not far from the outlet. It puts me in mind of Donut Craze. They had a decent amount of flavors, and the cashier was very nice. I purchased a half dozen along with some coconut and peanut donut holes. They are a shop that seems to be opened around the clock. They also serve sandwiches and coffee. The prices are about average. I really can't say they were fresh, but they were fine. I was headed back home, and the riders in the vehicle jumped in before I could get pictures. read more

Their donuts are blah. Nothing special. But they do cook a good stick to your ribs breakfast.

Hubby and I found Frankie's Doughnuts through Facebook as they requested me to "like" their page. I did like it and was delighted to find this small, local business! As soon as I liked their FB page, I found them on Yelp to skim through pics and reviews. I found a bomb deal on their Facebook page! Monday and Tuesday, 1/2 sheet pizza with 2 toppings for only $12.50 and includes taxes!! We jumped on that deal right away and it was yummy! The pizza sauce is slightly sweet, but we both enjoyed it. The crust is super yummy with a bit of crunch. We'll def be back for more pizza and to try the chicken fingers and the doughnuts! We didn't try the doughnuts this time due to COVID-19 with the doughnuts being out in the open. Didn't want to risk it in case there's anything in the air. Once we try the doughnuts, I may change my review to 5 stars! Def check out Frankie's! read more

Anyone who rates this place 3 or better must've had their taste buds removed. All I know is the pizza was bad. Don't know about the service because I had the pizza at a party, and it tasted like it was left out for 3 days. Hardly any pepperoni or chees and what sauce that was on it was way too sweet. Love that they are open 24/7 (25/8)! Great coffee and a huge selection of doughnuts. Went with red velvet today and a giant coffee. Definitely a favorite! You can't beat the donuts here. They ha e quite the variety and they're always delicious. I particularly enjoy the breakfast sandwiches. They're close to work, always open and affordable. I'm not a coffee drinker but my coworkes swear by the coffee here. Now let's be real ..it doesn't have the most curb appeal and there is some unique clientele. I can count on one amputated hand how many times I've dined in. I don't always have time but even if I did, I wouldn't. But that's a me thing. Most of the people patronizing the place are harmless and hang out in the coffee shop because it's one of the only place where they're treated with a shred of humanity. read more

Donuts are my Spirit Animal. And Frankie's does not disappoint!! We've been to Frankie's many times over the years for donuts. They are fresh and sweetly decadent, with a good variety of flavors to choose from. I prefer anything with white angel cream in the middle, and both the angel cream frosted or the peanut cream at Frankie's are YUM. I also LOVE a good cherry chip donut, a flavor not so readily available in donut shops these days, but it is a staple at Frankie's. Coconut cream, maple frosted apple, and red velvet are a few other flavor faves of our fam'. It was not until very recently that we ordered food from Frankie's, as beyond donuts they are a pizza and sub shop too. My husband and I recently stayed in Niagara Falls at the Giacomo Hotel for our anniversary stay'cation. We wanted to Door Dash pizza one night, and Frankie's popped up as free delivery for pizza. We ordered a half sheet double cheese, and of course some donuts. Delivery was FAST and accurate; the pizza was actually still HOT when it arrived! The dough wasn't thick or thin, it was right in the middle, with a nice subtle sweetness to it. We both enjoyed Frankie's simple tasty cheese pizza very much. Door Dash donut delivery from Frankie's was awesome too, as Door Dash actually lists all of the flavors and lets you individually pick your kinds, not always an option with donut places on Door Dash. These days we are light on carbs, except when we are on vacation. So the next time I am in Niagara Falls for a stay'cation with the hubbs, I look forward to indulging in Frankie's donut and food menu again, totally exploiting the stay'cation/vacation loophole, haha. :-D read more

Friendly staff and good donuts. My dad usually has me stop by when I come visit him. The selection of donuts was pretty decent. I don't know if the donuts are "special" or "unforgettable". They are good though and reasonably priced. I think a dozen donuts was less than $10. The smile that greeted me and the suggestion of some donuts was the difference between this place being just "eh". read more

My friend Frankie was having an affair with Ben Stein of "Win Ben Stein's Money" fame. Frankie was the "top". Ben was not. So my nickname for them, from the "Brangelina" and "TomKat" schools of thought, was "Frank-in-Stein." I thought it rather apt. However this Donut Shop has nothing to do with any of that so let's move on. 3/5 for being locally owned. Down to 2/5 for being so absolutely awful. Back up to 3/5 for being 24 hours, because anything that is 24 hours deserves extra credit, because who wants to go to McDonalds just because it's 4am? If you do, you're reading the wrong person's reviews yo. I ordered the 2 donuts they recommended most highly. I found them to be stale, tasteless, overly sweet, the aftertaste was nasty, service was OK, clientele was scary (okay not to me but they might be to you), and no Viagra was on sale. I thought that in Viagra Falls you could get them anywhere. But no. Basically they remind me of Paula's Donuts but less fresh and slightly less tasty, but it's a similar consistency and a similar fist-shaky-guy-on-gmail-chat-disapproval from me. However if you are a donut person and specifically a Paula's person, then give them a try. For all the love Paula's gets, this place deserves a little too, because it's really the same thing. And thank goodness it's not called "Bansky's Donuts" because if so the donuts would be covered in graffiti. read more

A Niagara Falls local staple, this 24-hour donut store will fulfill your night-time donut cravings and even serve you very very basic food, from chicken fingers to various subs and even a vegetarian 'burrito.' I'll get to the food in a bit, but first let me say: The donuts really are amazing. If you're a fan of Paula's, common wisdom says these are even better. It's true, the Boston Kreme donut I had was the best I have ever tasted. It tasted so creamy, fluffy and fresh; I had no idea a donut could even be that good. I'm not even that much of a donut fan, but was inspired me to sing donut songs into the night after eating it. Okay, not really. So how's the food? Eh. It's okay. I had the vegetarian burrito and it had no beans, which in my opinion then fails to be a burrito. It tasted okay, but I guess you sprinkle some mayo on anything and it will be "okay." If you're drunk and coming in at 3am, perhaps their food options will set you straight; they have some greasy choices, but I was feeling like I had to offset my donut by buying something healthy (hence the veg burrito). It kinda worked..? On the interior, this place is no frills and the bathrooms are on the borderline of being dirty. I would give this place three stars, but I'm reviewing a 24 hour local donut joint that serves some food, the only thing that you should expect from this place are incredible donuts. Nothing more, nothing less. And for that, it serves its purpose well. read more

I used to go to Frankie's all the time when Big Frank ran the place. Now with the guy who is running it that harasses all the women that work behind the counter belittling their ability to do customer service and the outrageous policies when ordering over the phone, I will never go to this place. Maybe to stop in to pick up doughnuts, but not for food. Their pizza doesn't taste like it used to. It's a shame Big Frank had to retire. All the love is gone out of the place. read more

I'm going to call this a Fusion diner because what better a combination than Pizza and donuts. They have a 2 slice, can of pop lunch special for $4.50. Their pizza is already sliced (squares) in the case and it's grab and go if you don't order in. I also tried 6 donut holes. Very similar to the Paula's style donut, so I did like the options they had. They didn't warm up the pizza, but overall I did enjoy it. It's cheap, and convenient. I see that they have burritos and some sub options, so despite the 3 stars, I'd go back. read more
