The optometrists are knowledgeable, kind, and always take my input seriously. As my vision needs have shifted over the years, they have always explained clearly exactly what's going on and what the options are to address it. They get me in and out in a reasonable amount of time, but it never feels rushed. The staff who handle the billing and insurance and the people who help you select eyeglasses are equally courteous, professional, and prompt to handle any request. I was especially impressed when I once called to make an appointment because I'd gotten part of a ripped contact stuck in my eye. They told me to come in immediately. As soon as I arrived, a tech was able to remove the sliver of contact that was stuck and causing a lot of irritation, and they didn't even charge me a penny for doing so! I have had only positive experiences at Vision First in the 30+ years I've been coming here, so I will recommend them to anyone looking for a good optometrist or place to purchase glasses or contacts.

About three weeks ago I went back and got the eye exam and I told the eye doctor I had always had trouble with these glasses. They did not seem to transmission from close to far like all my other glasses had. He explained that there was nothing wrong with my glasses. I disagreed and suggested we leave it there. i just wanted to make sure my new glasses were right. I picked up my new glasses this last week and it is amazing how my eyes have improved. They work great with these new progressive lenses in the regular and sunglasses. I do not have to take them off to read or to work on my IMac. It couldn't be that these new glasses were ground differently could it? It had to be my eyes because the eye doctor said my lenses were progressive lenses. I am just glad these new glasses are better. The moral of the story is to not let anyone convince you that your new glasses are ok when they are not. I should have rejected mine 4 or 5 years ago instead of letting me believe my issues were normal.

She rushed in and out of the room like she had other things to attend to. I knew as soon as she left that if that was my eye exam I was in trouble. Later on Dr. Faust came in and looked into my eyes and told me everything looked good and I was good to go. So I took my prescription out front to order a new pair of glasses. A few weeks later they came in. As soon as I put them on I told the two assistances that I couldn't see out of them. I was advised to wear them for a few weeks and I eyes would adjust to them. Well I never heard of that in my life. I tried to wear them but I couldn't see to well at night for sure. Now I am out $716 for a pair of glasses I can NOT wear. I would NOT recommend this office to anyone!!!

I've been to him for years and bring my children to see him. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, but there is always one bad apple. It's a different bad apple each time because the person doesn't stay for several years. Today, 08/07/17 it was Destiny. My children and I walked up to the check-in desk and Destiny with her iPhone in front of her acknowledged us with a flat greeting and no smile. Like many people her age that resent having to work, she sounded like she wasn't happy to be at work and not happy to see us when we showed up. She then proceeds to hand over 4 pages of paperwork to fill out for each child which is typical but because of her attitude, did not make me happy. Especially since the info is already in the system. I know that they need it updated but things go a lot smoother when people treat you with kindness. I told her she was rude and she said she was sorry but that she wasn't rude. I told her again that she was rude. It wasn't really a matter of debate but fact. I will continue to see Dr Ansari because he is an awesome doctor. Destiny won't be there the next time I come and if she is, hopefully she has learned to like her job and show it.
