This place is amazing. The dining area is spectacular and only eclipsed by the staff. The restaurant staff is exceptionally professional and it is quite clear that the management is invested in their success. The dining area is decorated with a very classy array of chandeliers. The Chophouse is an upscale venue so please in the service of all that is decent please leave your yoga pants and jeans at home and put on a dress or a pair of trousers. You only live once so make it count. The most impressive feature of the Chophouse is that the atmosphere is lively and filled with friendly people wonderful service staff and consummate professionals. I love this place. The food is very good but it is more about the atmosphere and attitude. Tip well and enjoy.

Friends & I want there had a steak salad it was amazing! Both friends had 8 oz filets they were made perfectly. I would definitely recommend it.

Luke was an absolutely fantastic server! From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely taken care of. He checked in at all the right times without being overbearing and had great recommendations. The restaurant itself had amazing appetizers -- everything we ordered came out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can tell there's real attention to quality in the kitchen. Luke truly elevated the whole experience with his positive attitude and excellent service. We'll definitely be back and hope to sit in his section again!

The interior is very inviting, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's a versatile space that works well for a romantic dinner, a casual date night, or even an evening out with family. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and seated at a table near the front window. Our server, Naomi, welcomed us right away and immediately made us feel comfortable with her friendly and engaging personality. She brought water to the table, took our drink orders, and returned quickly with our beverages before checking if we were ready to order. After answering a few questions, we decided on the fresh oysters, four-cheese flatbread, and pork belly tacos. The oysters were served first, and Naomi took the time to explain their region and variety, which added a nice touch to the experience. They were fresh, clean, and nicely briny. The four-cheese flatbread was rich and flavorful, made with fresh ingredients that really stood out. We also enjoyed the house-cured pork belly tacos--the meat was tender and well-prepared. I requested the toppings on the side, which was accommodated without issue. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The service, atmosphere, and food all came together nicely, and we'll definitely be returning again soon.

My wife had the lobster and filet mignon (medium) - the filet could be cut with a fork. The lobster tail was fresh, cooked perfectly, and outstanding. My Delmonico - a cut that you don't see too often, so I ordered it thinking they must really specialize in it - was over done (I ordered medium rare, it came out medium) and a little tough. Mr. Benny's is an "old school" place - and while restaurants like to claim that quaint charm, it could use some updating. What it really means is they don't want to spend money removing the million faux crystal lights, mirrors, and brass-everything, and change out the dingy carpet. It feels trapped in time, but not the right time; like desperately in need of fresh paint and new carpet 1987, not 1967 when it opened. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Notably, this place is in MOKENA. It would stand on its own and do well in downtown Chicago, and you will not find a better steakhouse in the southwest suburbs. Not Jack Gibbons Gardens, Cut 158 in Joliet is its equal but much nicer inside (albeit pricier), it's similar to Al's in Joliet, and better than Primal Cut in Tinley. I have been several times and plan to return (next time I'll get the lobster too!)

We came here specifically for crab legs, birthday dinner, we order crab legs - no crab legs. "Oh, I'm sorry. I should have told you. We don't always have the crab legs. There's been a shortage." I call bullshit on that. I guarantee we could have gone down the street to Red Lobster or Original Island Shrimp House and gotten crab legs. Either tell me you don't have them in the beginning or put a little piece of tape to cover up crab legs on the menus. It's not that hard. We had our hearts set on crab legs for this special occasion dinner. I ordered the lobster instead and it was good but still a disappointment over what we specifically went there for. Plus my wife ordered the mango topping on her Chilean Sea Bass and her meal came out without the mango. Our server had to go back to the kitchen to get it, and then bring it out in a bowl and dump it on my wife's dinner at the table. Giving them a generous 4 stars.

We both enjoyed our meals. Hubby said his steak was seasoned really well, and he took half of my fish, which he also said was really good, and I agree. This is a great neighborhood staple, and we will definitely be back to try one of their burgers.
