Napa valley salad with grilled shrimp

First off, this place is a little gem. The service is what this place is known for, among other things. Now let's go to the food: Soup of the day - mushroom soup was delicious. Highly recommend it. Turkado panini - turkey, cheese, tomato, avocado and wait for it.. crisp bacon! Delicious. I actually finished all my it before the person next to me finish half their salad. Chicken salad olivieh - so good, reminds me of my friends mom's dish! Desserts Carrot cake - delicious. Very moist. Bessie's cookies plain and with chocolate - my favorite The price for the cookies and cake are so reasonable that you don't see cookies for .50 cents . It's so delicious that you want to buy more! This is a great quiet spot for lunch and dinner! I can't wait to try other dishes from here.

Really spectacular little restaurant on Green Bay Road. Great personal service and delicious food. The clam chowder was very good as was the bread and the delicious quiche. We intend to visit often. Very pleasant lunch experience

First indoor dining experience since COVID hit. What a wonderful find this was on a mid week lunch when husband decided to take a day off of work. Completely comfortable here as staff are all wearing masks. Masks are requires of guests upon entry. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. We ordered a bottle of Bordeaux for lunch which hit the spot. I had the french onion soup to start which was so flavorful. My husband ordered the pate (not my thing) but he said delish. For lunch I ordered the chicken salad on their homemade bread very good. And my husbands ordered the Nicoise salad which he said was delicious. This is a cute little french spot and I'll surely be back! Bon Appetit!

Food and celebration!

The food was delicious! Michael was a wonderful host, as was the staff. We celebrated a big family birthday, and were treated so well. We so enjoyed our time there! Thank you, Michael and staff, for making my sister's birthday so memorable.

As expected, the restaurant was packed, both inside and in the beautiful courtyard. Families filled the dining room, with children of all ages at about 90% of the tables. The team at Pomeroy has been so consistent and professional, that all of our dishes were delivered at a perfect and steady pace, and qualities remained high. Although we got a different server each time we went, they were all very welcoming, friendly, and attentive.  This time, Carlisle did such a wonderful job even though she was super busy, and she wished me a happy Mother's Day several times to make sure that my day was special.  I must mention that the friendly hostess greeted me with well wishes too, and said happy Mother's day again when we left. We had noticed that they had replaced the couch in front of the courtyard fireplace with more tables.  Who could blame them when they had so many patrons to seat.  However, the courtyard still looked gorgeous. Now on to the food and drinks.  I had a mocktail Bleu 75 ($13) that's my favorite, my husband had a glass of chardonnay ($17), our daughter had a Le Spritz Strawberry ($16).  We shared an order of Sea Scallops ($23) and a Warm Tomato Tarte ($19).  I had my go-to dish which was the Mediterranean Sea Bass ($38), I loved the seared skin that was crispy on the edges. Husband and Daughter each ordered a Spring Halibut ($92 for 2) from the Mother's Day menu.  We ordered 2 Strawberry Crème Brulee ($28 for 2), and I shared 1 with my husband.  I also had a cappuccino ($6). The check came up to $283.05 before tips (they add a 3% surcharge to each guest check, which may be removed upon request, we didn't).  As always, our dinner was very enjoyable and it's worth the money.  I had a very happy Mother's Day dinner, and it ended a wonderful weekend with high notes!  We will keep returning!

When we got to Pomeroy for dinner, we were seated in the farthest back room, one that was open-air ... the staff never asked us, they just put us there. The room was nice as was the weather, but the open-air room had gnats all over the place. Now we realize that gnats or fruit flies oftentimes come with wine servings ... and the Pomeroy has a bunch of nice wines, but the gnats flying around your face all through dinner was not pleasant. We ordered drinks to start, and found it hit-or-miss. The Watermelon Margarita seemed tempting, so we tried one. It came with a big smear of Tajin powder on the rim, and was not appealing. Once again, we thought they should mention this kind of thing before it appears. They replaced the drink, but it kept us off on the wrong foot. All in all, they still put our good food. Our complaint was the seating, the gnats, and the Tajin powder ... all they had to do was ask for our preferences and these could have been avoided. But alas, they drop to four stars.

I did enjoy the mustard and baby pickles with it but the crostini was overdone and too crunchy. I asked for a side of bread and that came out warm and soft so I much preferred that. Atmosphere is elegant. Large spacious bar. Half full at 4:30 on a Friday. Service was slow and not welcoming. It got a bit better as more staff arrived but the original bartender seemed annoyed to serve me from the moment I sat down I waited about 10-15 minutes to be asked for my order after water was dropped. I waited another 15 minutes for my happy hour pate and fromage cheese platter to arrive. I honestly wouldnt have noticed the time if I'd felt more warmer welcomed. Also tried the fromage selection of cheeses. They were delicious but no one seemed to know which cheese was what. Several people later, the gentleman who delivered the cheese returned and kindly named those he could. I was told the cheese would come with bread and crackers but they didn't until I asked. Overall not an experience I enjoyed paying for or that I'd return for but others seemed to be enjoying themselves so my experience might be unique. I'd also recommend attention to the women's bathroom, toilet seat needs fixing so no one gets hurt.

We ordered pierogi's on a Friday night and they were incredible. We ordered a plate of half potato and cheese and half spinach and mozzarella. They were simply just amazing. The service was surprisingly reasonable despite the amount of patrons inside, friendly and the waitress stopped by periodically to check on us. Menu is not as adventurous as I've seen at some French restaurants, a bit different from still mostly familiar -- which can be good to appeal to a wider set of diners. I tried several different items including the Touche Toast, Cinnamon Apple Pancakes, and Gaufres Au Poulet Frite. I found in each of these, the textures were alright and the flavors were not too different from what I would expect from other brunch restaurants. Portion sizes were alright, as the meal wasn't overly expensive. If I had ordered items with more French influence, this may have been a better gauge of the food here. With that said, the uniqueness of the offerings here make me interested in a return visit. Overall, neat spot if you're looking for French style cuisine at reasonable prices.
