Honestly this place is undervalued. Take out or dine in and I have yet to have a meal I don't enjoy here. The service is great, everything is prepared fresh, homemade soups. What more does anyone need. Looking forward to returning again.

Go to Franco's if you are starving or feeding a ton of people! This restaurant is extremely reasonable and offers a TON of food. The food is just okay and honestly nothing special, but again they give you a lot of food for a very reasonable price. All entrees came with soup, salad and a huge roll of bread. We ordered the chicken parm, chopped clams white wine sauce pasta and shrimp and spinach pasta. Everything tasted just ok and we had to add a lot of additional seasonings to enhance the flavors a bit...but for the third time you cannot beat the deal. One pasta dish is honestly enough for two people that's how much food you get. Only things I honestly will recommend is the honey lavender salad dressing and red lentil soup. The take out came inside of a nice big box and was properly taped as well.

Had Franco's cater our holiday party. Was promised beautiful Stromboli trays and as you can see from the photo, that's not what we got. Use caution if you decided to have them cater your next event.

Food is terrible. just get pizza hut or dominos. putting tomato sauce and cheese on ziti does not make it baked ziti.

Kudos to the young manager actually writing back (albeit slightly salty) to me about my poor cs review of Franco's. If the pricing was on the menu for the vodka sauce, my bad - BUT the server knew I didn't want to pay $16.95 for the penne vodka meal, as I stated to both him and my friend initially when ordering. So why would I want to pay $11.25 for just a SIDE of penne vodka alone?! . . . wish he had disclosed that. I was happy when he told me about the smaller side of penne vodka that I could order! I was NOT happy about the non-disclosed vodka sauce up-charge! The menu is very large, and the server did not point out (he verbally told me the good news) where the side pastas were (I was assuming that a side would be the customary $6 MAX . . . um, including the sauce!). Who would ever think $11.25 for a SIDE of penne vodka pasta?!! Definitely not me or my friend. My bill totaled $20.25 now with my chicken cheesesteak. In hindsight, I wish I had just ordered the penne vodka meal splurge for $16.95 (how could they do a meal for that price, yet a mere SIDE of the pasta is $11.25 ?!!) !!! (I'm very budget conscious and this was only lunch). For someone not wanting to pay $16.95 for a penne vodka MEAL - to now be paying $5.70 more, for just a mere SIDE of the penne vodka pasta, stings and $ doesn't make sense. I told several people already about my experience & vodka up-charge - they were surprised as well, and said that they wouldn't have paid it either. Two also concurred that the server should have pointed out the up-charge. I have never paid so much for a SIDE of pasta. Never will again! Bottom line is that the server & manager both saw my face and sticker shock surprise. Take the $3.25 up-charge (bad enough a SIDE of just the plain penne pasta alone was $8!) OFF THE BILL AS A ONE TIME COURTESY. Didn't happen, so they lost a customer. #PRINCIPLEOFTHEMATTER!!!!!

    Garlic knots.

Anything we've ordered in the past is excellent. But garlic nots..? Not so much. Way to garlicky. Legit burns our mouths. Very quick with delivery. The gentleman that takes deliver orders is so sweet and respectful. I would 100% recommend francos!

A very good restaurant that is very underrated. Flounder Francaise is excellent. I don't believe that I have ever had a bad meal there.

Decent sandwiches. Very large. There is a ton of indoor seating, as well as some outdoor seating…read moreshared with the neighboring Thai restaurant. I went with the Chicken bacon ranch, while The Misses got the meatball. Both sandwiches were fine. I keep hearing great things about the Bobbie, and will try that if I'm in the area again. The man behind the counter was really nice too. Nothing about Capriottis blew me away, but nothing irked me either.

Now full disclosure, this review is for one and one thing only and that's the Bobbie, their thanksgiving sandwich. Yes I could review other things, but the Bobbie is what makes them unique. I won't say it's world changing better than say a Wawa Gobbler, but it's available year round, and is great. The staff is friendly and kind, but the last three times I was there, I've sensed some hiccups in the logistics either for other customers or towards me -- I suspect these'll suss out in due time. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area. The part of the review that nobody ever talks about: - Water: There's a self-serve soda machine with clean water - Restrooms: There are two single occupancy restrooms - Accessibility: It's all wheelchair accessible - Seating: Plenty of seating - Will it fill you up? Obviously for hoagies, you're kind of in charge of your destiny based on what you order. Compared to the normal hoagie, I'd say these are probably slightly smaller just since it's not processed meats and all, but still certainly fair and filling. - Dietary Notes: I mean, it's a Sandwich shop, the dietary notes you'd expect apply here, with one caveat. Unlike say a Subways or Jersey Mikes, you don't get to 'walk with your food' down the line as you build it, but rather, they build it in the back. So if you're picky over what goes on your Sandwich or want some of the control of seeing what's going on (i.e. cross contamination concerns), you won't get that degree of control here.

I have to admit I haven't been much of a fan of Chegg in the very limited amount of visits I've had…read moreover the years. Recently some family members went for happy hour to watch a Phillies game, and they had a great time. We decided to give it another shot for happy hour. We really enjoyed ourselves and thought the value for what we ordered was outstanding. We arrived just after 5pm (happy hour weekly from 3-6) and were greeted by one of 3 bartenders who helped us throughout our visit (all 3 bartenders were great). I asked about their current down east cider on tap and she poured us a taster without having to request it. I ended up going with a happy hour dirty Kettle martini which ended up being super smooth. My wife had a Surfside, also on happy hour. The happy hour food consists of 1/2 price appetizers, fries, 10 piece boneless/bone-in wings and fingers. Drink wise it's $3 off all draft beer & house wine, $5 seltzers & teas, $7 margaritas, and $10 kettle & espresso martinis. I love a good deal and this is it! Chegg also has a fun Phillies special where each game there is a player of the game. If that player records a hit there are drink specials the remainder of the game! We ordered a bunch of food also on happy hour; Garlic Parm Boneless Wings, Fried Pickle Spears, Cheesy Bay Fries, and Bone-In Zapper Wings. I typically prefer smaller wings. These wings were on the bigger side and were meaty and juicy, but they were also crispy, cooked well throughout and not fatty. The wing sauce was really good! Very hot but not overbearing which is just what I was hoping for. The fried pickle spears were also a hit, and seemed to be breaded in house which is a huge plus if they were. The boneless wings were very good, however, we've had better Garlic Parm sauces elsewhere. Still nothing to complain about. After finishing my Dirty Martini I ordered a Jalapeño Margarita which was delicious. The bartender muddled jalapeño in the shaker prior to making the drink. It was limey and refreshing with a subtle jalapeño kick. Well worth the price tag and something I'd definitely order again. I finished up with one of my favorite all time beers, Tonewood Fuego (this drink not on happy hour). I mention this as all of this food and drink came out to ~$65. Again, value-wise I was impressed. I think Chegg has the potential to be great place to watch games. Their bar is very large with plenty of TVs throughout. They also have a great patio bar for beautiful days/nights. I'm sure during big Philadelphia sporting events the atmosphere is pretty great inside and out. I can definitely see myself coming back again for happy hour as the food and drink specials are great in my opinion. This was my first time at a Chegg happy hour. I still feel the prices are a bit high outside of happy hour. If you want decent bar food at a good price Chegg happy hour could be a place for you.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday and we had no issues finding parking or getting seated right away…read more We ordered the Stuffed French Toast with Blueberries, Chicken Walnut Salad, and a side of Home Fries to share. The salad was ok and I wish there were more greens it - seemed like such a small serving for how much chicken came with it. Breakfast Potatoes were crunchy so pretty happy about that. Would give this place another try and maybe order one of the breakfast options instead.
