Ok I need to give credit where it's due! Franco and his team do not mess around and do work! Franco and his team were very nice, easy to work with, on time, and reasonably priced. Our gardener had been trimming our palm trees for years and could no longer do it so we shopped around and found them on yelp. Thanks, Franco Tree Svcs! We look forward to doing business with you and your team again. read more

Called them and left a message. Had a callback within 20 minutes and was given a quote that evening. The next day my trees were trimmed, some large roots removed and my gutters cleaned. Excellent.... read more

This is the second time I've hired Franco Tree Service. Their quote was well below the competition. They executed some major tree removal and trimming within 5 days of first contact. Mardel was friendly and knowledgable. His team was courteous, flexible and quick. read more

It was a very large ginkgo tree wedged between the house and a fence. I was worried that the house or the fence would get damaged, but Franco took the tree out without any problems. He also stumped the tree. He does a great job at a very reasonable price and he's a nice guy. I would hire him without reservation. read more

I highly recommend Franco Tree service! They offer great tree service with competitive price without compromising on service quality. They arrive on time, work hard and clean up debris throughly (they even go to the roof to clean leafs). Geronimo who grinds stomp for Franco is very reliable and looks into details. I would recommend them to my friends feeling comfortable. read more

Franco and Maria were great to work with on my tree removal. Fast response, best pricing in the area and quick turnaround time. We did have some delays with weather, but beyond that I was happy with the work that they did. read more

Maria and Mardel are great people and their quotes for tree trimming are VERY reasonable. I only got two quotes and went with Franco Tree Service. There was some misunderstanding and way too much of the maple tree was cut away. I had talked to Mardel and told him that the neighbor was complaining about my maple tree leaves falling in her yard. So I wanted the branch cut to where it was not hanging over the fence. And also cut the branches going into the neighbor behind me. Basically, I wanted everything within my property line. When the men came to cut the tree, one of them made suggestion about just thinning out the tree instead of doing a 25% top off. I had requested having the tree topped off just 25% so the lady next door would stop complaining. The employee told Mardel he would thin out tree and cut the side branches leaving the center branches alone and just thin the thick ones out. . The conversation was in Spanish and I was told they decided not to top off the tree, but thin it out and when it grew, it would be bushy. They also couldn't grind the stump of some smaller bushes because they were near the fence. I will have to wait until the rains when the soil will become more workable and try to dig the stumps out myself. And I wish they had taken hauled away ALL of the debris because now it will sit in the street for 5 day. Hope the neighbors don't get angry! Franco's Tree Service and Yard Clean Ups is a good company, but you need to make it very clear exactly what needs to be done. Draw a picture if you have to! I won't hesitate to use them again. read more

Franco's Tree Service did a good job cleaning up our gross yard, but they didn't thoroughly clean the areas they cleared (hence 4 stars). Overall, we were satisfied with the work, and the people were very nice, and very hard working. So, small ding for not doing a good clean up of the planting areas, but overall a good company. read more

I have used Franco Tree Service 2x's to clean up 2 extremely large oak trees in my backyard and several overgrown trees around our property. His pricing was reasonable when we reached out to him in 2016 and again this summer. His team showed at the scheduled time and cleaned up after each job....we will continue to use his service. read more

Requested quote on a Saturday and received response within minutes, made appt for Monday morning for estimate. The quote was very reasonable and the work was performed and completed that afternoon. Great job too! read more

Mandel gave me the best quote and was able to work with my schedule to do the job one early Sunday morning- very flexible! In addition, they were very safe, careful, clean and professional and showed a great deal of skill, art and tree knowledge in trimming my very large and historic Oak tree. I highly recommend Franco Tree Service, I will not be using any other in the future read more

Very pleased with the tree service I received. Cleaned-up afterward and took care of everything. Would use again.

We had an estimate today to take out 3 small/medium tree stumps. They came back later in the afternoon and took them out. Very friendly and reliable. I give them 5 stars. Yes I recommend their service. read more

Highly recommend!! Franco came out Friday morning to give me a quote to prune 8 trees in my backyard. After giving me a very fair price he said he could get someone on his team come out the same day. What most impressed me about Franco was how detail oriented he is. Listened to exactly what I wanted and then walked back through it with me to make sure we were on the same page. Even once they started pruning and I asked for a couple changes, he happily obliged. Great customer service! Will definitely be using Franco again. read more

Hip hip hooooray for FRANCO Tree Service!!! Requested a free estimate thru Yelp and Maria assisted me with that and they came out the next day. I have 10 Trees, Yes 10 trees all different too!! They have been growing since they built the house in 1999 and we bought this house 2 years ago. The trees are Over grown past our 2 story house and all the views thru our window are obstructed. Mardel came over and gave me thee BEST Estimate that I couldn't refuse!!! For 10 trees!!! We got scheduled a week after and Mardel and his Team came first thing Monday morning. They listened to my wants and helped me get those trees half their size and my back yard looks AMAZING!!! They were Fast and efficient at the same time!! Cleaned up after and I'm as Happy as can be!! Good honest. Did yard clean up for front and back. And did tree trimming all for 225. Not bad. Yard looked clean afterwards. During free estimate he kept saying he would do this n this for free. Sold me! read more

Franco came to our home for a free estimate and was able to tackle our large job within a few days of giving us an estimate and scheduled the work on a Sunday.; which most companies do not do without additional charges. We had approximately 40 live oak trees that needed to be trimmed and dead branches removed. Just as he explained things would flow, they did. Crew of 3-4 guys came out with chainsaws and towing a large wood chipper. He said the job would take about 8 hours and he was right on the button. The crew arrived right on time and worked throughout the day to have job completed within the 8 hours estimate and in the end cleaned up as if they were never here. I would highly recommend their services and hope that if you do hire them that you experience the same high level of customer service and efforts. **Work was completed on 11/24/13** read more

We are extremely happy with Franco Tree service. Mardel and crew took care of everything and cleaned up after. Our 10 Trees look very clean and healthy. Highly recommended!!! read more

I called 3 different tree removal companies and Franco was the only one to return my call. He came out the same day and gave me an estimate and scheduled me for the following week to remove our trees. They came out when they said that they would and removed them super fast and in the most tidy way possible. I will recommend you to everyone! Thank you Franco! read more

Franco was very prompt in coming over the weekend to give me quotes for cutting my evergreen-pear tree. He did a good job. He neatly cut and piled firewood that he didnt have space to take in his truck (and I was able to get rid of it easily on craigslist). But he did under estimate the size of my tree and I had to agree to give him $25 more in the middle of the cutting and hence the 4 star. read more

We recently hired Franco Tree Service to trim our large trees and to remove one tree that had grown too close to the house. We were VERY happy with the work done! Owner Mardel Franco is licensed and insured and seems to be knowledgeable of the requirements of various types of trees. I noticed that he does all of the "artistic work" up in the tree, trimming and shaping the canopy, while his crew handles the clean-up, stump removal, etc. around the yard. The end result was a yard of beautifully-shaped trees and everything left cleaner than when they arrived! read more

Amazing service, excellent quality, and great price! Very punctual and professional. We received 5 bids to prune and shape a few of our trees and they were by far the cheapest. Literally half the price of some of the bids. Not only that, they did an outstanding job and left our yard cleaner than it was! I would recommend them, without any hesitation. We will definitely be using them again in the future. read more

I was looking for a reasonably priced, but licensed and competent tree service that offered both tree trimming and stump grinding. In particular, although I needed a large tree to be extensively trimmed, I didn't want it looking ugly after the job was done. Thanks to Yelp, I found Mardel Franco, who said that he works for one of the big tree service companies several days a week, but also works for himself the remaining days. Mardel did a terrific job at a reasonable price and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. 5+ stars! read more

I looked around several days for someone to do some tree removal, trimming and yard clean up. Finally I ran across Franco's Tree Service on YELP. I called one afternoon and received a prompt call back the following morning. We made an appointment for an estimate. On the day of our appointment Martel was running a little late. To my surprise he call me to let me know he was a little late. On Tuesday morning May 29, 2018 he arrive at my house on time with crew and equipment. I am on a quarter acre lot with plenty of shrubs and trees. His crew did an excellent job servicing my property. Yes! I will use Martel services again and would recommend him to a friend. read more

Great company that doesn't rip you off! Very reasonable and fair prices, good people, and great work! They came out and trimmed 3 of our trees and removed 2. All were done in a timely manner! Would definitely reccomend and will use again in the future! read more

Very happy with Franco and his assistant. He was cheap, experienced, quick, licensed and pleasant. Did a great job, offerring to do extras, for free. Ended up using him for another tree and to clean out my gutters and roof. Professional quality work for very low prices! read more

INTEGRITY Mardel Franco (owner) is a pleasure to work with; his crew hard working and efficient; his prices fair to low; and he stands behind the quality of his work. We needed fairly extensive yard cleanup in a hurry to prepare for an appraisal. Mardel said he could arrange his schedule that week so the work could be done the next day - at less than half of the price we had just received from another vendor. Mardel arrived on time every time; unfortunately, I can't say the same about myself. I wasn't even home when he arrived to do the work the next day and I left a huge obstacle in his way. He and his crew rolled with it and performed all the other tasks they could until I returned 3 hours later to clear the area so he could complete the other items we had agreed on. The work was completed at the time Mardel said it would be the same day. A quick review of the work done left me very happy with the drastic visual transformation and overall, happy with all the work. I paid him and his crew left. The next day I spent more time in the areas the work was done and realized that one task had not been completed at all and another was not completed to my satisfaction. I spoke with Mardel and he came to my home at the end of the same business day and did the work himself - committing to more than our original agreement in an effort to make me a happy customer. I am a happy customer and recommend Franco's Tree Service to anyone who is looking for fast, fair, friendly, quality yard cleanup. read more

Very happy with Franco and his assistant. Did a great job, and professional quality work for very good price. Thanks! read more

Franco was very good. They were working across the street. I went over and asked for a bid. He said he'd be at our home the next day. He did and was right on time. I had 4 trees in the back trimmed by half with 1 removed and 7 palm trees throughout nicely trimmed up with the chainsaw. Took almost all day. Very professional. Brought over the woodchipper with covered truck. All clean on the street but still left some debris throughout the back yard. read more

Amazing job! Very prompt reply for estimate, reasonable cost and Franco the owner seems like a very nice guy who actually supervises his workers and is accessible/on site for any questions or concerns. I got the tops of the trees in front of my house trimmed because they were obstructing my view and a few other things done. Looks amazing!!! Thank you! This is our second job with them will definitely go to Franco's for more jobs!!! read more

Absolutly a professional company. Actually covered a small plant so the falling branches didnt hurt it. Cleaned everything up....small leaves, twigs, everything from the ttee to the chipper on the street. You wouldnt even know they were there judging by a mess left because there wasnt one!!!!!!!! The tree was blocking our solar panels and now were making power when before the sun would sit behind the tree. Our squirrel friends still came back so theyre happy too. Quick job too. Very very polite, and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED read more

19 May 2015: Ten years ago, a landscape contractor convinced us to put weed-block fabric + gorilla hair on our yards (roughly 3,500 sq ft) -- to retard weeds. Big mistake. Why we agreed to such folly, I will never know. What gorilla hair does is ATTRACT weeds (one year weeds were over five feet tall). It has been on our list for a long time to hire a contractor to get rid of the fabric + gorilla hair. We also have a sizable paver path that weeds love too. Finally, after thinking of yet another season battling gigantic weeds, I compiled a list of possible contractors. Several said the project was too small for them, or too big. A couple contractors seemed approximately a good fit so we asked them to come out and take a look. One of the two was Mardel (of Franco's): he was enthusiastic and his price was reasonable and fair. We hired him; his crew was here (on May 19). Five guys arrived, and cleared the yards in 4.5 hours, hauling away the debris, sweeping up everything. The crew was professional. I don't impress easily, but was impressed. The yards are bare dirt now -- the way we want it (for the time being). We paid by check. I checked Mardel's contractor's license, and it appears he subtracts rather than adds things (clear things away rather than puts things down). "Out with the old, in with the new." Mardel is a 'out with the old' guy. Mardel's crew did such a fabulous job, I am ignoring that they were an hour late. You can bet I will hire them again if I ever I need yard stuff removed. Thank you, Mardel and crew! Five stars (*****). ------------- UPDATE ------------- 19 May 2015: Downgrading to three stars (***). I noticed that three sections of front yard still have fabric + gorilla hair on them, which Mardel's crew missed. I just text-messaged him to please come back and fix those sections. I will upgrade after job is finished. ------------- UPDATE ------------- 27 May 2015: Upgrading to five stars (*****). Mardel came out yesterday and finished front yard. He and crew were always courteous. Thanks! read more
