Just had this company move my 800+ Lbs Safe to my new place. No easy task either. I live on a hillside with a narrow path, that is about 8 degrees of slope. Then they had to deal with 22 concrete steps, that are a 9 inch step with an 11 inch rise. If that wasn't bad enough the whole set of stairs plus the top landing are not level due to the hillside pushing everything forward and to the side, years of erosion have taken their tole on these stairs. Oh I forgot to mention, just TWO guys did this move. These guys handled this job with precision and care, they got my safe into my new place with care not a scratch on anything. Overall, I am okay with Franco's I when asked them to repair my safe. The first time they were very late. Upon arrival, we decided that maybe we needed to try some thing different to repair my safe. I took a trip to Franco's and after a review with Jesse Jr., I understood what they needed to do. Week passes which was okay but they never had the courtesy to call. I call several times and finally set up a time to have my safe repaired. All turned out fine but Franco's does not understand about customer server as they have never followed up and let me know where things stand. The only problem with the second time was that they were more that 2 hours late because of traffic. Again, no call. I call them two times to understand where they were. Went to Maximum Safe because they have almost a five star rating and lots of reviews and very well drafted website to search for anything I needed.. However, once inside the location, I was told they had an item but it costed $650 and they could not do installation. I then proceeded to ask the representative, I think Jeff is his name a whole ton of questions which he didn't know the answers to. (In his defense I could see a whole lot of invoices on his desk and he was probably swamped)... They had a cute, playful dog and seemed nice enough but didn't really seem interested in helping to service my needs or solve my problem.. Being that this was a deal breaker, I left frustrated and in despair... Driving around looking for the freeway, I drove past Franco's Safes (I thought a little strange the likelihood of finding two safe companies near each other), and decided what the heck... Walked in, was immediately greeted by customer service rep with a smile... Spent 10 seconds, found the same item that as a floor model with 10% discount was approximately $500.. They offered installation and even told me that I could customize the combination to whatever I would like (I was told by other company this could not be done.) I'm very pleased that Franco's exists and kicks butt... In the past, I have had other safes that broke or company that sold me the products couldn't fix... I thought I was out this money but held on to the safes in the hopes there were true artisans in the field... I'm happy to say that I think I found them and will be sending my broken safes to this company for repay, as they do repairs which is amazing! read more
