In their pesto, they have walnuts! Such a weird thing to have on Pizza, and they dont think to mention it ANYWHERE! My husband took 1 bite and immediately he started to feel his tongue get scratchy and throat starting to swell. I try to eat gluten free so I thought I'd try their cauliflower crust pizza. They said it would take extra time because the crust is frozen...I said fine. When it was brought to my table, I saw they really skimped on my 2 extras. I cut a slice and as I tried to transfer it to my plate story, it fell apart. The crust was mushy, only the edge was crisp. I don't know about you but mushy crust is not very appealing. In fact, I thought it was inedible. When I went up to the counter to to tell them what I thought, they simply brushed me off, saying that's just how the cauliflower crust is and everyone else seems to like it. We happened to drive by this place after spending the day at Ponquogue Beach. It is excellent. We ordered the chipotle chicken slice and the eggplant garlic knot sliders (eggplant, roasted red pepper, fresh mozzarella, basil). Be sure to to say yes to balsamic when the waitress asks you if you would like it on the sliders, you will not be sorry. The pizza and sliders were both very flavorful and fresh. Both were not the best I've ever had, but both were tasty, had generous amounts of chicken and other toppings; would get again. They had many other slices, of those the one that stuck out the most was a Mac N Cheese slice (definitely trying it next time). I am excited to say I've found my new favorite pizza. The slices are expensive but the whole pies are not - $11.50 for two pieces (specialty) and a can of soda. I think the dinners are also a bit pricy (pasta, etc.). Still, this za is worth it. There are four main elements to pizza for me: cheese, crust, sauce, and crisp (texture), and the fifth would be the additional topping ingredients. The thickness on this za is perfect, and my usual 1-4 criteria were just right: nice flavorful sweet sauce, beautifully melted and generous cheese and topping spread, crispy and sweet crust - enhanced with sesame seeds. If you want the pizza, you pay. If they promise an order will be ready at a certain time, it may not be. It may not be what you ordered. The crust may be burned. You may pay extra for a topping and get home to learn that they gave you just a few pieces for the extra dollars you paid. They don't care. They don't offer to make it right. They have never offered to fix anything! When people suggest ordering people from there, I cringe and just prepare myself to get bland pizza for too much money, just to be with my friends. We have patronized this establishment often for many years. Do not order for delivery. Placed an order for 2 pizzas, Thursday at 6:21pm. The order came 90 minutes after it was promised and was already cold. Not even warm! The employee Melissa , who said she was the manager was very rude to us on the phone and wouldn't tell us the owners name. When my brother in law stopped in to the restaurant later that nighthe was told the owner would call me today.
