Pizza, 'ZA...oh yes! delicious. Oh yeah, lots of bread that's delicious too

I recently tried this place after a lot of townies told me about it. The pizza is sooo good - sort of "no frills," but doughy and delicious. It's really good cold or warmed up at home in the oven. It's really cheap, I think it was 1.75/slice. I also got some fresh baked cookies that were really reasonably priced - only $4.00 for a dozen medium sized. read more

I've been going here for sometime and the only thing I get here is the Pizza which is a must order. Everything looks and smells amazing, but the Pizza is mandatory. Great neighborhood place to pop-in to get pizza bread for kids lunches. I've also purchased trays of pizza for events for kids and adults. Give them a few days and they will put whatever topping you like on the pizza bread trays. I've also purchased bread rolls and cookies for cookouts. I recently used Framingham Baking for some parties and the pizza was a hit! People who came who knew about Framingham Baking recognized the taste immediately. I love that I can pick it up, let it sit till it reaches room temperature and serve it. I also like that for only an extra $1, the pizza can be cut into smaller sizes and served in a pan. read more

Have been going to Framingham Bakery since I was a kid. There wasn't a family dinner served without their delicious bread on the table. And there pizza is like no other. I randomly stopped by here to grab lunch, and it was a pleasant surprise.This is just an adorable little bakery that seems to be in the basement of someone's home. The woman working there was so kind and helpful. I had a piece of focaccia and rosemary pizza and a spinach and artichoke piece. The focaccia one was delicious and very soft, but the artichoke pizza was topped with american cheese. I love artichokes, and it's very hard for something to ruin them for me, but that cheese really killed it. I would definitely go back here, but I'd make sure to ask what cheese they used for each piece. read more

First time at Framingham Baking Co. When pulling in to park I thought I was in the wrong place. It appeared to be someone's home. As we walked in the door the smell of anise pulled me in and I felt I was in my grandmother's house. After reading the reviews for pizza we had to try it. We heated it up in the oven on a baking sheet. It was crunchy and amazing!!!! They wrap it in white butcher paper. It reminded me if Italy:). The almond macaroon cookies are to die for delicious. I will be craving them until I can go back. The girls working there are so helpful and nice. They know how to appreciate your business. I will DEFINITELY go back. Don't miss this gem. read more

What the crap... Do they put some kind of magic crack-infused cheese on their pizza? I am super jealous of my mom for growing up less than 2 miles from this place and getting to eat delectable baked goods throughout her childhood. I only get it once a year. Called at noon to see what time they were open to. I was told 2:30pm, So after reading some "GREAT" review of their food I pack up the 6 y.o. the 18 month old and take the ride(from Waltham) to get some of the "great" Pizza I have been read about. After finally convincing the wife it sounds like a great place to eat and to finally have her stop complaining about the ride we arrive at the bakery at about 1:20pm, 1 hour and 10 minutes before close and guess what NO PIZZA. Lifelong customer. There food is really good but nothing like shitty service. Ive found a hair on my pizza here after spending my entire lunch break going to get it then not being able to eat. I wiped it off as accidents happen. But the ladys dont wear hair nets? Weird. So after years of being a satisfied customer despite the price of the pizza being somewhat expensive, I went in there and was disrespected and then told "im being disrespectful". I had my phone off to the side of my ear as I was on an important phone call that I was placed on hold. It wasnt a big deal. I walk in say Hi can i please have some pizza. Lady goes to get it. Once shes at the rack she then goes "you need to get off your phone". First of all who are you to talk down to me like that? Then once she came back to the register I said i really dont understand why its a big deal if im on hold, she replys rudely "its extremely disrespectful". Wow I guess some people are just mad at the world? How to loose a customer 101. Ill never go back. read more

Nice neighborhood friendly spot with some delicious pizza and awesome fresh breads. We love the sandwich rolls, croissants, and sticky buns. And the black olive pizza (when they have it) is the best ever, using whole olives! Yum. read more

Owner as honest as a 5 year old. Went to the bakery as I have had for many years the day before Thanksgiving to grab pizza for lunch. Counter girl was very rude. Told the owner she could at least smile and say thanks and per owner girls have worked all night. Ok they are 14 and unless child labor laws are being broken they have not worked more than I have. Told the owner I work too. Then owner states "You know customers bother us especially 2 days out fo the year" Really? Well one day I know is the day before Thanksgiving and I am guessing the 2nd one is before Christmas? No need to worry I told her I will not be back. Local owners complain that they do not have enough business. I try to visit local places but Customer Service tends to be less than friendly. Perhaps owner did not notice what I did. Normally there is a line out the door at 11am and this year it was not. If customers make you so unhappy and they are such a bother. Why not retire and close the place down. Actually you should have retired a long, long time ago if that is how you really feel. read more
