One big pro for the Y is that you can visit any Mid-TN location. There's a location near the office so I can avoid some traffic and get a workout in there if I'm feeling it.

There is street parking available, as it's a downtown location. My husband was able to just drop me off at the door though! I was greeted promptly, directed to the very nice bathroom/changing room that has a fluffy robe and shoes (I just wore my own slippers I brought). Lots of things in there for you to freshen up with after your massage, including showers! I was offered a drink and ordered some tea and was led to a beautifully serene waiting room. This is where I filled out my paperwork. There also were a few snacks offered! Michelle was amazing from start to finish. I appreciate they ask before if you want quiet or conversation, so it's not awkward if you just want silence! She was so incredible - I left being able to move my neck and a month later have no pain still! Worth every penny.

You have private rooms so that you can feel comfortable getting into your sauna time. I like to bring my headphones but there are also sound machines to help you relax. After sauna time, it is cold plunge time! Claire did a wonderful job of coaching me through my first plunge. She helped with the breathing and mindset and I ended up loving it! After going, I feel so much more relaxed and loose. It has become an integral part of my relaxation and recovery routine!

I do not like this and therefore, I am taking away one star. What if I didn't like my service? Or like today, wanted to pay in cash. This does not give me that flexibility and I didnt like that it wasn't listed anywhere on the waivers since I booked in person. This should be told upfront to customers so they aren't surprised. I typically go to the spa monthly at home, and I'm always given the option to leave a tip in an envelope or charge to my card. It's always optional and convenient. I probably would not go again, but the experience overall was good.

If you book a aescape robot massage you're free to utilize all of the spa amenities such as the multiple relaxation spaces, sauna and my favorite the steam showers which in my opinion were worth the visit as they are very few spas in the city that feature individual steam showers., I would definitely recommend booking a session during week about two hours prior to the mediation, this will allow ample time to relax and enjoy the spa before capping of the night with a peaceful float meditation. The float meditation features complimentary bubbles, heated eye mask, a blank, headphones and a guide meditation you can download on your phone. The session isn't available at the time of this review by I highly recommend checking this experience out when it becomes available again. Service appointments and special events can be booked online., All in all R+R is the perfect spot for a little Nashville daycation.

The tub is huge, big enough for two. I loved the sea salt accompaniment and kept sprinkling them in like an Italian chef with pasta water. The sauna got a lil tight but if you Tetris it you can make it work. Or don't and just yell at each other to move over. You've got options. The shower amenities are lovely and the body oil after was divine and made me feel like a rich hippy woman from Seattle who presses her own lavender oil, which is not a alter ego I slip into often but thoroughly enjoyed for an evening. We left clean, relaxed, and didn't fight once the whole time. If you know us you know what a win that is! I definitely recommend this for any couple or non couple trying to have a lovely time and not be mad at each other. Or someone wanting a few hours of self care. Idk whoever you are and whether you go solo or with a partner you'll come out softer, smoother, and a happier individual, probably.

The only thing that might make it better was if there was a full shower for when you really get a sweat in and have to go somewhere afterwards. That might be hard to come by in this location though. The downfall to this spot is the parking. While they do have free parking with a QR code for while you are inside, the garage itself is tight and overcrowded most of the time, especially in the evenings. Again, not to their fault but can make what should be a relaxing time a bit stressful when there is no parking in the garage.

There are a ton of options to help you be in control of your health: from red light sauna, hyperbaric chamber, NAD iv therapy, to aesthetic procedures (prp, micro-needling, etc.) there's a lot of high tech amazing science at your hands. The cryotherapy was a breath of fresh air quite literally..I felt like I had stepped inside a large walk-in freezer. I loved that you got to choose whatever song you wanted and were encouraged to dance. The longest time I think was around 3 minutes and 30 seconds at the most extreme temperature. I did the 3 minutes and definitely saw some literal frost start to form around minute 2. The worker Alex was super knowledgeable and said it helps with sleep which I feel like everyone could use. I definitely will be doing more research online for some of the options! Would encourage everyone to take a step inside and put your health first.
