I have been a cameraman in the entertainment biz since 1974 and have amassed a tremendous amount of priceless memorabilia..... in 1988 I finally decided to have some of my carefully boxed and out of sight collection framed so I could hang them on the wall and enjoy them daily !! I walked into Frame Pros to see if they could frame some of my collection with UV protection so photos & signatures would not fade, there I met Frank, he told me yes they could not only provide UV glass but also acid free mounting!! I had not even thought about acid in the cardboard mounting that could potentially destroy photos!!! soooo.... (after we talked about framing for 2 hrs.!!) I gave Frank 2 items to be framed ....two weeks later, I picked both pieces up (OMG!!!) and they have been on my walls ever since!!! To date Frank and his crew have framed OVER 140 Items for me, from Autographed pic of Muhammad Ali & myself to 2 signed photos of Ronald Reagan & I, a signed wooden French spoon & photo of Julia Child & moi in a shadow box..... Not to mention signed Boxing gloves, autographed Photos of Presidents, autographed baseballs, 1950's memorabilia from Cuba.... the list go's on and on.....and ON!! Generally I don't even look at frame moulding, I just give them an idea of what I'm thinking it could look like and I have ALWAYS been blown away by what they come up with for me!!!! I have had a couple of things framed elsewhere and I have not been happy with the result OR the price....don't tell Frame Pros but they have the best prices on framing anywhere!!! It seems to me there are two types of picture framers. There are "corporate" framers who thrive on volume with little attention to details or the interests of their smaller customers. And then there are boutique framers who are able to spend time with their clients, show them design and decorative options and have enough knowledge and confidence to help clients avoid costly mistakes. There are, in my experience, very few in Southern California. Among them there's no one better than FramePros. I am a collector and dealer in antique maps, many three and four hundred years old. Because of the age of the paper and the value of the maps, these are items that must be handled carefully and framed with proper attention to preservation; i.e., with museum quality materials: archival, acid-free matting and UV-protected glass. FramePros does it right. My wife and her business partner are highly regarded interior design professionals who have worked with Frank for more than 25 years to meet the custom framing needs of their clients. They and their clients have always been highly satisfied. The ability to help design a custom product at a reasonable price is a tradition at FramePros. I just moved to Glendale from Madison, WI. In transit, one of my pictures got damaged. The glass was broken and the frame bent. It's about 35" x 29". I took it in to see if it could be repaired rather than reframed. They quoted me at $70 (seemed to be a fair price since the glass had to be entirely replaced), and had it fixed in less than 24 hours. Looks better than ever. No attempt to upsell or anything, just fixed it exactly how I wanted it done. Great place! read more

Aaron brothers quoted me $50 for replacement glass for a small frame. They did it for $10 and were friendly and super fast.

I don't usually comment on yelp but I really feel I should this time. I've been to several framing shops over the years and I could find only one that would frame the pictures just the way I wanted. I use to drive 5.5 hours just to have my pictures done. I decided I needed to find someone who was closer so I tried Frame Pros. Frank (owner) and Debbie made me feel right at home and made sure I got everything I needed in my finished pictures and artwork. I went to Framepros and I was quoted price that I knew was way too high. I took my picture and went to Aaron Brothers thinking that it was going to be the same way but man was I shocked. The man behind the counter took great care of me. He really knew what he was talking about. I know that custom framing isn't cheap and my pictures are very special to me and my wife so I was okay spending the $$$ to know that they are going to do it right. Great customer service! Debbie, especially, was very sweet and attentive! My girlfriend and I tried to frame a poster ourselves. We bought a frame and mat board, but we didn't have the right tools. We asked Aaron Brothers to cut the mat for us, but they wanted over $50, just to cut the mat (which was more than the frame cost!) We brought the mat into Frame Pros and they agreed to cut it to size, within 30 minutes for us for $10 plus tax! To top it off, turns out we accidentally gave them the wrong measurements and when we came back with another mat board, they cut to the correct measurements for free, within 10 minutes!! So hard to find people who know what they're doing, let alone for a decent price and in a timely (VERY timely) manner. And with excellent customer service to boot! Very happy! read more

If you need anything framed, be it small and simple or large and complicated, I highly, HIGHLY reccomend FramePros. I had a tricky framing job - my boss, who is SUPER picky and maybe just a little high maintenance, asked me to have a huge (about 50x50) original oil painting framed for him - and he had a VERY SPECIFIC IDEA of how it should look but didn't provide much in the way of guidance or good photos of what it should be. I walked into FramePros quite aware that I was probably going to be "that customer" that can be a total nightmare to work with (even though I'm just the messenger! LOL). I needn't have worried at all. The owners, Frank and Debbie, were simply awesome to work with, were able to understand immediately what my boss wanted, and reproduced it - perfectly. The whole job took just about 3 weeks and was INCREDIBLY reasonably priced considering they had to stretch and mount the canvas and the frame was huge! They personally helped me secure it in my truck when I picked it up, too. This is the kind of service that's hard to find these days, and I really appreciate how much easier they made MY job. I have a whole bunch of personal framing projects I've never gotten to because I didn't know what to do with them (and was afraid of the cost) but I'm going to start sending them to FramePros! read more

Frank, the owner is so cool, and very helpful...I told him what kind of frame I wanted on my piece, and after testing out several different options, he brought out a completely different style and color of frame than what I originally asked for. Of course he picked out the most perfect choice that I never would have thought of, and I went with it! I had a large poster and a smaller print that I wanted to get framed, and I wanted to take them to an independent shop if I could find one. I found Frame Pros on Yelp and called. The quote they gave me was significantly less than the one Aaron Brothers threw out, so I brought my poster & print over to get a finalized price. The man who helped me was professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He was fine working with my budget and found me a number of options for color & frame material. Overall, getting both the poster and the print framed (the former in metal and the latter in wood) was less expensive than just getting the poster framed at Aaron Brothers. The products were ready 3-4 days earlier than the estimate I had been given, and they turned out beautifully! I will definitely be returning to Frame Pros for future projects! read more
