I have gone to several computer repair shops and Frame PC is my top pick. There are a bunch of reasons why: 1. I trust his advice on both repairing my Dell laptop and also giving me free advice on what computer I should buy. Although a computer is central to my work I don't know how many rams of memory I need, or how big the hard drive should be or any of the other issues when purchasing a computer. The owner, Jim Frame, knows all this and offers free advice on what to buy! 2. He has always repaired my computer correctly the first time. Whether this is a dead hard drive or malware that I got on my computer. 3. You deal with the owner. 4. Fast. This is essential for me as I have to have my computer to work. No computer no work. I simply can not wait the 3-5 days many computer repair shops take to get my computer back to me. 5. Price. Remarkably, he is inexpensive. 6. If he can not help he won't take your money. I cannot imagine why the first review was poor. I read the Google reviews and visited Jim at Frame Computer. WOW. He listened to my concern and immediately tested my computer. Bad monitor and not worth fixing. He explained how temporarily I could hook my laptop up to my SMART TV with a wireless keyboard and HDMI cable, so I could have use of the computer. Then he proceeded to go through the best type of laptop for my needs, the important components, and suggested top models. He spent an entire half hour with me and didn't ask for a thing. Nevertheless I left him with a nice payment for his time and went on my way with a treasure trove of tech info about what to get in a new laptop and malware/security protection. A friend recommended Jim at Frame PC, telling me he was honest, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. He's been my computer person since 2015. I call him when I get a computer virus and he fixes it virtually, cleans up the mistakes I've made and advised me on a new computer (and transferred the data at his incredibly reasonable hourly fee.) I call him for other computer issues too - he's taught me how to make a mailing list - something I had frustrated myself over and spent hours trying to do on my own.
