My technician was so busy looking around the room and talking to other employees that she sliced my cuticle with a nail file. I pulled away, she apologized but immediately resumed looking anywhere but at my foot. She then applied a cuticle removing gel to the fresh wound she had created. I pulled away a second time, this time telling her "that hurt!" The gel was removed. She then began trying to "dig out" a dark spot from under the side of my nail. Spoiler alert, it was a fleck of the dark color nail polish from the previous pedicure that she had failed to remove. She may have noticed this fact, except she was STILL looking around the room and chatting. This was the first time on my life I've ever walked out before a pedicure was complete. Which is saying something, because I've been getting pedicures regularly for the past 30 years. This was far and away the worst experience I've ever had in a nail salon. I went in for a fill because I saw them online and was nearby. The man doing my nails continued to dig the electric file into my nail bed until it burned and was bright red. I previously had black polish on my last set and he encapsulated bits of black polish so you can see it and the ring and pinky nails on this hand. The acrylic used previously was also clear and he used pink with no blending so you can see a clear line where the fill happened on top of where my nails are irritated. He would point at my hands to talk loudly to other staff and one lady came over to continue talking while looking at my hands. It was very uncomfortable. I just wanted my toes polished and a full set and the older lady got in my face very aggressively and tried to force a full pedicure on me, screaming out prices and then proceeds to say "YES" or "NO"! my sister and i came here to get our nails done i had gotten a fill and she got an acrylic set. there wasn't many people working so it was a bit slow but that was fine. im not sure what her name was, she seemed like she ran the place, anyways she started on my nails, when she got to the drill she kept digging into my cuticles and nail beds. yes i did tell her but nothing changed. same thing happened with my sister but a guy was working on her nails. i had a few broken nails that she fixed and did not shave down or really shape the broken nails. when they where doing the polish (i got red, sis got blue) they only did 2 cotes on mine and they are see through. not to mention i've had this set for less than a week and multiple nails have broken. she left my hands very messy, there was polish and dust all over. when i was cashing out i paid with card, i thought it had automatically went through, it didn't they wanted to wait days later to make the charge. the people where great and so was the music, the service not so much. will not be coming here again. read more

I'm a 64-year-old male and for the first time in my life I went for a pedicure. I was a walk-in and the owner and was an angel from the get-go. She made me feel totally relaxed. I love ladies and I wasn't nervous about being around ladies because who doesn't love to be around beautiful woman. The technician that gave me the pedicure was outstanding. Having never had one before she let me know where to put my feet when to move them and what was gonna be happening. My favorite part of the pedicure obviously in my case was the massage and of course the hot stones. When they rested the bottom of my feet on top of the hot stones I was in heaven for 5 minutes and that's a lot to be said from an atheist. About three months later, I went back for my second pedicure and a week later I had my first "MANicure "and the owner who is an angel and an outstanding lady did my manicure and it was around Halloween and I asked to have my left pinky decorated with orange paint and a little smiley face and and she did it at no charge. The other day I went in with my friend Ricky , who is from El Salvador and has never experienced anything as wonderful as the pedicures that Anne offers at her facility, we sat side-by-side and Anne the owner sat between us and rotated back-and-forth between the two of us and we had the most wonderful time getting the pedicures and Anne is an animated wonderful lady and told us different stories while we were getting the pedicure done. The prices are outstanding much much much cheaper than the competitors than the Concord area. The whole shop is clean and orderly and the staff there are wonderful. I had inquired around other nail facilities (3) in Concord and the prices are lower than the local competitors. I would highly recommend going to nails in Concord for a pedicure or manicure or any other spa related needs. I would not recommend going to any other nail place in the city of Concord. No no no. I thought everything was going to be good because they were very busy, but I should've gone where I was originally planning to. I was sent to a chair to wait, them decided to get the pink and white ($60) and the deluxe pedicure ($55). The nails would be beautiful of he's cute them as short as I originally asked. The white tips are so high that since the bottom is clear you can actual see through them to the other side. It kind of makes the pink and white separation line look black. He was pretty rough on me for the pedicure. ALOT of scrubbing my calves with coarse packet, and then practically sanded my skin off the side of my foot. It's still burning a little 12 hours later. I'll likely end up going somewhere to get a fill in a couple weeks and have them fix these up. read more

I rarely leave reviews... And I never leave a negative review... but I just had, hands down, the worst experience I've ever had. From sliding costs to crooked lumpy nails to not even getting the design I wanted. Let me back up. I asked them if they can do marble nails there. They said yes (spoiler: they can not!) After my crooked acrylics were painstakingly put on, the nail tech I started with dumped me off with someone else who would do the marble. The color was so far away from what I had shown as an initial picture that I was surprised, but I didn't complain because the color was somewhat unimportant. Instead of having a marble nail... I ended up with some weird acetone induced polka dots... Just blobs of purple on the majority of my nail. after five or six tries while I pleaded with her to try some thing else, she finally agreed and I showed her the very simple picture of the nails that I included in the pictures below. "Yes yes. That's easy" she said. "easy", it was not. I did not ask for gold. I asked for silver to match the picture. Several times. She just kept pushing the gold. again color wasn't the most important fact so I gave up and went with it. she drew tiny little triangles on my ring finger. I kept telling her I wanted it to match the photo. She kept insisting that it did. then she wanted to put gems in there. I said no, but she kept insisting again. (I understand that they charge more for the gems. So I'm certain that's why). again I caved. Sure. Let's have gems. She asked me if I wanted the bigger gems or the little gems. I said little. She picked the biggest gem she had and stuck it right in the center of my nail. By now I had to stop her. It looked more ridiculous than the end result that you see here. We ended up getting someone over to help translate. it got us on the same page for some things, but as you can see- even though I had the picture up in front of her the entire time... There was still some level of misunderstanding to replicate the design. all-in-all $70 later, I am waiting to have an appointment at a different nail salon to fix this because I can't even show up to work looking like this tomorrow. Oh. And I was told that since the first design (marble with gems) I wanted cost $30 more than the $50 usual cost, I was frustrated (but nor surprised) when I was told the total would still be $20 more for no reason even though I ended up getting none of the things I initially asked for avoid this place at all costs!!!!!!!!!! read more

My girlfriend went to Foxy because C Gloss was temporarily closed to get 2 nails that had broken off replaced and a color change to match her dress that she was going to wear for a photo shoot. For the 2 nails they replaced you can most obviously tell the ones that foxy did, bulky and ugly, on top of all that her dress was a Sage green and Foxy decided that to match it they were going to a nice BRIGHT NEON green. So in conclusion if you want bulky, warped, and over all hideous nails that aren't the color you want, Foxy would be a 5* in your book, but other than that avoid it at all costs. read more

Then they chipped within a couple of days. I went in this Saturday to have one fixed and asked to have them repainted and they told me they were too busy. I said all day? can I come back later and she kept repeating we are too busy today. I was willing to pay to have my nail fixed and repainted but they were too busy. The attitude of the new staff is clearly driven from the top down. This place is not even worth a singular star. Such a shame. I used to really enjoy going here which I did for four years prior to Michelle taking over. I do not recommend this mail salon after my first and only visit. I got my eyebrows waxed and not only was the skin bleeding but they are still red and swollen almost 24 hours later. They are painful to the touch which has NEVER happened to me. The person, Eric, who did my pedicure never bothered to even clean around the sides of the nails, just the at the cuticle. He removed the paint, filed and buffed them and repainted them. Not worth $30 plus tip. In addition, while cleaning the cuticle of my toenail, he cut me to the point I was bleeding and didn't acknowledge it and then put alcohol on it. PAINFUL! I will never go back here and I recommend you don't either. read more

I have been looking for a nail salon since I moved to concord last year. We moved from Boston where if you go to the wrong salon you will surely regret it. So I was so excited when my coworker recommended this salon. They swore how great the work is and how nice everyone was. I am so impressed with them. The woman was nice but was super rough on my nails to the point that I was bleeding, and my nails still hurt. I literally have cuts all over my nails. Too much money for nails that I could've done at home. Not to mention when I was sitting there the woman got up and made a personal phone call!!
