I've tried most of the nail shops in Concord and am consistently happy with my Pro Nail experience. The technicians are friendly, efficient and skilled. The shop is very clean and they take special care to reduce the fumes from all the chemicals which is obvious when you walk in - no yucky nail salon smell. The only detractor for me is the hours. The owner is family focused (a very good thing!) so the shop isn't open on Sundays or late on weeknights. read more

I had a terrible experience here. I was recommend this place by a friend who said they had very fair prices and were great with last minute appointments. However, after arriving at my appointment, I quickly realized the opposite. I showed the man who was doing my nails a photo of what I wanted, a simple pink with one flower accent nail, and he said he wouldn't do it because he didn't think it looked good. I told him that was what I wanted and he still refused. He recommended a French tip and I agreed and asked that he do pink to match my outfit for my event. He started doing a white French tip and when I told him I had asked for pink he got very annoyed and reluctantly wiped the color off of the one nail he had done. He made the French tips very thick and straight, and when I asked him to fix this he said no because otherwise it would look bad. He also made several nails very crooked. Then I asked if they had white chrome and he said no but he had clear. He applied it and I could not see it at all. Then he brought me to the register and informed me that the original $45 he had quoted me was wrong and it would be $80. He wanted to charge $15 for French tip, which is fair, then $5 for acrylics and $15 for chrome, both of which I found crazy because he didn't include them in my quote. The chrome especially, which I reminded him wasn't event the color I wanted and was invisible, and the entirety of the salon employees looked over and started getting visibly upset. I asked him when he told me this and he said he didn't because he "assumed I would know" and that it wasn't on his sign yet but he'll get to it eventually. I paid $80 for some very ugly nails and even uglier customer service. Not impressed. read more

My mom has been going here for years and she missed an appointment. She had two previous short notice cancellations because she was in the hospital. While I understand missed appointment policies, to tell an 82 year old woman who has been spending plenty of money there for at least 10 years, that you could no longer allow her to pre book appointments because she recently missed one, is disgusting. Honestly, she will never walk into this place again nor will anyone else we know or are friendly with. They did her a favor by not letting her book again, and now she can seek out a salon that does a better job anyway!! Good riddance. read more

I am not happy to post pictures of my feet online, but I want to make sure that everyone knows what a pedicure includes at Pro Nails. My toenails were painted, and that was done well, and my attendant did use a brush briefly on my feet, but that's it. When I showed them my feet and asked why they had not sanded/filed or lotioned, they told me they are legally not allowed to. Frankly, I find that hard to believe, but just want to make sure that everyone knows that they will be paying for a pedicure and coming home with the same dry skinned, rough feet. The funny thing is that I had gone there many times previously, and never had this happen. So come to your own conclusions. I certainly will never go there again. read more

Worst nail experience ever! I believe Jenna was the one who did my nails, (the desk said Jenna), and she rushed from start to finish. Didn't attempt to make small talk and kept yelling at me and man-handling my hands and nails. She didn't try to make my nails look nice, (they look lumpy and the gel was put on so poorly it doesn't look even), and when I mentioned it might need another layer of paint she just became angrier and gave me even more of an attitude. I am so disappointed and angry as my nails needed to look good for an event and I felt as if she was barely trying to make them look acceptable let alone decent. She left nail polish around my fingers and just squirted lotion on after in an attempt to get me out. I can't believe her behavior is acceptable let alone the fact m she was getting lint on my nails and rolling her eyes at me. read more

I was in town and went here based off other Yelp reviews. My gel manicure has lasted longer than I thought, though it does have some chips. But I'm happy with the job the lady did! And she took her time, which is always nice to not feel like someone is rushing. The staff were all very nice! The place is a tiny bit dirty, but not enough to be gross. Only local shop I've found that has ventilation hoods over each nail station. Prices are reasonable. I have found some of the technicians to be rather rough, and had to ask them to use a lighter touch. It's still a win, just on the basis of the care they take to reduce the fumes. It's not possible to give them a half of star like I would've. I normally go to Paul's nail salon, also in concord nh. Paul's was busy though and I had plans that I wanted my nails done for so I decided to give this place a try. I HATED it. I literally cried in the salon and after because my nails have never looked worse. The lady doing my nails did not only make two of my fingers bleed but also made three of my nails tilted upwards. I proceeded to not say anything just in case it was a rough start and she was going to fix them. She didn't though so I pointed the mistakes she made and she tried to say "my nails aren't all the same shape n size because of my nail bedding isn't the same." That is ridiculous and then when I asked if I could just have her make some of them the same height and I will make them the same shape at home. She continued to make smart remarks like "oh so you know how to do nails." She was extremely rude and on their website it says that a full acrylic set is $25.00 and she charged me $30.00. My nails are not even coffin shaped and they are squared yet she charged me $5.00. She also chipped my nail twice and said it was my fault. I personally am NEVER going to come back to this horrible nail salon. I would advice nobody else too but if you plan on getting your feet done. Then go ahead because the two other lady's were vey happy with their results. I'm pretty sure the only person in that place that knows how to do nails is the male. The people working there were not friendly, I asked if the nail technician could suggest a red polish and she was irritated and told me to let her work on my nails and basically be quiet. It was also cluttered, you could smell the fast food through the wall of the place next door, and had limited color choices. The price was okay but my pedicure was over in under 20 minutes.
