We hired him to install a hardwired network in our home, install speakers, and replace wiring. The cost seemed excessive for the work performed--much of it consisted of simply taping new wires to old ones and pulling them through the walls, which appeared to be a very basic job. For the CAT5 installation appointments, he canceled multiple times for various reasons, including not having the correct wiring or supplies, medical issues, and confusion about the scheduled day. He was also never clear about his start time, which made scheduling very frustrating. We also had him replace an old cable box in a closet with a larger one. The work was poorly done. While some drywall damage might be expected, the box itself was not secured properly, and all the wiring was placed behind it in a disorganized manner. Later, when we contacted our cable company for an unrelated issue, we discovered that our home already had CAT5 wiring installed. We were unaware of this at the time. Either he knew this and chose not to tell us, or he didn't recognize existing wiring--neither option reflects well on his professionalism or competence. We ultimately saved thousands of dollars by hiring another company that simply tested the existing wires and added wall ports. Overall, the experience was a complete waste of time and money. I would never trust this company to do work in my home again. At best, the service was incompetent; at worst, it felt dishonest.

I searched the internet and found AVSI and Willy Videla. Based on the reviews I read I decided to call Willy to help with my theater. He was very busy but took the time to come out discuss my project. To make a long story short I hired Willy and this is what we ended up doing. Willy ordered and installed a 133 inch widescreen screen, relocated the projector and electrical outlet on the ceiling, lowered my front in wall speakers to accommodate the larger screen, ordered and installed 4 dolby Atmos speakers in the ceiling, at Willy's suggestion he ordered and installed 10 ceiling theater lights, ran a new HDMI cable, he did all the wiring necessary for everything. In addition he programmed a new remote to run all my devices and installed a Lutron Caseta system for my theater lights to work with my current system in my house. Finally, Willy transformed my equipment rack that was a "rats nest" of cable and wires to a completely organized and labeled beautiful space and built and installed 2 additional shelves. Needless to say Willy can do it all. He completely transformed my theater into something far better than I ever imagined. Willy is a perfectionist even down to the smallest detail. If you have a need for Willy's services I can't recommend AVSI and Willy high enough as I'm thrilled with the final product! Shawn designed a Sonos-based solution that was far more budget-friendly while still delivering everything we wanted -- and it turned out beautifully. He implemented a 5-zone Sonos system, including a Sonos surround theater setup, and installed 18 indoor and outdoor speakers plus two TVs (including a 98" TV). He also came up with some genuinely innovative mounting solutions for the outdoor speakers that look clean and intentional. What impressed me most was his professionalism and patience. The existing wiring had some challenges, and Shawn worked through them carefully rather than taking shortcuts. He also improved our network by installing an Eero router system for noticeably better Wi-Fi coverage, and he set up a 5-camera Ring security system. After the main install, Shawn came back for follow-ups to make sure everything was dialed in, and he did a thorough walkthrough so we felt confident using and managing the system. They installed a 240v charger at my house for my new Tesla, ran power to my front gate so when I replace it I'll have power. They also installed GFI outlets to my newly renovated backyard water fixture as well as my trex deck. The biggest job they did was install a switch plate on my detached garage that runs hidden lines to my generator. Brad and his team did a great job and had it licensed/inspected for me as well. His prices were very fair and the quality of work was very good. His team also installed new light switches in my house allowing me to automate it. We had a small issue with power and Brads team at 8pm at night the day before thanks giving came out and fixed the issue. No complaints and no excuses, they fixed things immediately.
