First off I've wasted a lot of time trying to get this company to book an appointment and countless reaching out and having to take time just to lock something down. With that said after finally getting a date down I was able to get my outlet and security system installed. I had contacted this company again to have lighting installed in my bathroom with crown molding. I scheduled an appointment and when the owner came installed the molding and left half way thru to go to another job. The molding had cracks and so many nails itn it and the work was horrible done. My ceiling had scratches everywhere which I had to repaint, and I spent an extra $300 to replace the existing crown molding. It was after all that I was informed that he had never done that type of job before. Would have appreciated the heads up so I could have saved the extra cost of damage. Mind you I had started before the appointment with video and photo reference that I had molding that needed to go up with the lighting and didn't install it because I wasn't sure if it had to be done together for proper wiring Even despite all that I was polite and said I appreciate th effort made but I need to have the job redone and would love to have just the lighting installed. Not making much of the damage done. Well he cancelled on me and said he doesn't want the job. So now I'm out $300 dollars and time wasted in communication. I have never hired a handyman man or any task person that leaves a home mid project because of another booking with his current project in such disarray and damage. So $300 dollars later and another search for someone to complete the task. Don't go with this company unless you wanna waste time booking this company and chance having damage and a cancelled job mid project with extra costs. read more

I forgot to put this review up when Jonathan first did my install over 2 years ago. I hired him in 2021 to run Ethernet drops to all my rooms as well as exterior Ethernet drops for PoE cameras. Jonathan is one of a kind. Professional. Knowledgeable. Very friendly. And a problem solver. He didn't have his normal helper but still finished the job in 3 days. Over 20 drops fished. 5 cameras installed. 2 wireless access points. In a heat wave nonetheless. He terminated all the drops into a patch panel and even installed my media rack. He did such a great job I asked if he could also run speaker wire for a home theatre which he did in 2 days. Two years later and everything is still working great. He was always on time, prompt, worked hard. Jonathan is also just a great guy to talk to. There were days I was at the house and it was awesome to learn about his background and his family. I needed help replacing a lighting fixture in the bathroom and Jonathan came through in a big way! I contacted other electricians but they were either booked for the weekend or had higher prices. He offered the best rate and came by to do the work the very next day. Jonathan was super responsive over Yelp message and text which I really appreciate. He finished replacing the lighting in under an hour and even cleaned the glass elements in the new fixture for me. He made sure the area was tidied up after the work was done too. Without me asking, he even took off his shoes so he wouldn't track anything around the apartment. So considerate! He confirmed he's fully vaccinated and stayed masked while he worked. I hired AVS Logic to run coax and ethernet cables through my attic and install wall plates in two rooms. They covered all the bases: they were responsive, were available soon, showed up on time, worked efficiently, and did a very good job for a reasonable price. They patched all of the drywall and plaster they worked on, plus some preexisting holes where the coax used to go. They also were willing to change up the job details on short notice, just a few hours before they arrived. I cannot say enough good things about Jonathon! My internet connection at home was both slow and intermittent. He fixed the problem by installing an enterprise grade wifi system and now I have blazing fast speed and it's remarkably consistent. He installed routers inside my ceilings over three stories and did some slick behind-the-scenes Cat 6 cabling. Here is the best part: he then helped me fix my security camera system, upgraded the WiFi adapters in my PCs, replaced and fortified an electric socket, installed a 240 volt outlet to charge my Tesla and probably some other tasks along the way. None of these services were up-sold by him. I just kept finding new things and in each case Jonathon had the expertise and experience to get the job done. Found Jonathan through Yelp, when I did a mass estimate request. He was the only one to reply with any semblance of "yea, I think this guy may know what he's doing." He was timely, and professional. That was just the beginning. The best part is when I quickly got the sense he knew what he was talking about. I mean DEFINITELY. And he had this innate desire or yearning to do things right. My issue was a long ethernet cable I had to run to facilitate a studio room of mine. The people I had do it the first time cut corners (corners I didn't realize at the time). Jonathan knew this immediately and proposed two things: doing it the way that would quickly fix the issue and.... the right way. It was a no brainer. He did everything he said he would do. Half day's work? Check. My internet speed would blow away my existing one (before it deteriorated)? Check. No hidden costs or even upsells. As a matter of fact, it was ME who did the upselling! I wanted some concrete cut to facilitate my penchant for clean lines and good looks and he accommodated with no questions asked. I tend to be pretty finicky when it comes to contractors. So many of them take on too many jobs and over exert their schedule, leaving you in the dust of a mediocre job. Not Jonathan. He is quick, but efficient. No whining; his work ethic is high. Several years ago, Jonathan set up my home theater system and did a very good job. I'm not good with high tech stuff and he returned a couple of times to reconnect and explain things -- I'd expect no less when I invest a lot of money with a company. That said, more recently, I had a very minor issue with a cooling fan that started making a lot of noise. I also wanted to replace a broken universal remote. I contacted Jonathan in MAY. It is now late AUGUST and after repeatedly saying he'd schedule me in and not following through, I've had enough. Jonathan uses the excuse that he is busy, and I get it, he's busy with the big paying gigs, like the one he had with me originally. I understand that what I need done now is a small job so it won't generate a lot of money, but it's also a quick job and I thought that it would be best executed by the person who built my system. Alas, good customer service just doesn't seem to be a part of AVS Logics philosophy. read more

Then I asked him to set up a camera system. The third time I asked him to help expand both systems after I had an addition to my house built. After a negative experience that we faced in trying to get our Home Theater, Networking done in our new home in Valencia, CA we found him on Yelp. I reached out to Jonathan, and the concern was that because he is not local that would be overpriced. Jonathan was responsive, pleasant on the phone very capable and understands not just Audio / Video but also expert at home-networking and overall Technology devices. He was prompt in his quotations, and accurate and was able to structure something for us on the price and services that we like. When the service day came - he was on time, was fully prepared and had all he needed. He and his staff treated our home with respect, they did everything we expected and then some. Didn't nickel and dime us on stuff and / or find excuses to challenges rather than focus on getting them resolved. The job took him about 10 hours, he did get rushed a little at the end ( the last 2 hour or so ) I was just over him telling him to slow and down and not rush because they did a lot of hard work and just wanted them to finish strong. He was receptive, said yes sir and kept going. His helper was nice and good, just not very good at what he does and it did slow Jonathan a little. At the end, I give them 6-stars!
