I heart Marcello and let me tell you why. 2 Years ago, we let our AV/IT company go because he never showed up and charged a ton of money. So when you bring a new company into a legacy set up, expect to be uncharged dramatically. I needed a new guy to come in and assess and troubleshoot (and ideally repair) our TV and the Remote. Every company I spoke to gave me some verbose estimate about new equipment we'd need to make it work. Arrogant old men insisting I needed entire new "systems" that would run me 3-5K. Now, I was under the impression my universal remote wasnt working properly and thought that was a good place to start. But no, everyone said they needed my source code, the router key, and about 4 hours. FINALLY, my friend said "No, no, no, call Marcello right now." I did and by the next day I had 2 guys in the house who fixed the problem in 90 minutes for a couple hundred bucks. Strong (and reasonable) IT and AV are hard to find in this town. I love everything about Marcello and Digitime. I wanted to redo my TV/AV set up, and I didn't want to have to do anything myself. I wanted to snap my fingers and it was done. And with Digitime that is exactly what happened. Marcello came over to assess the situation and recommend the products I needed. He ordered everything, his technicians brought everything needed to do the installation, and they took away all of my old components. I didn't lift a finger. The techs were lovely, all masked up of course, and they did a wonderful job. They got all of my cords behind the wall, and that was not an easy task. The set up looks just beautiful including a new piece of furniture to house the components that Marcello helped me find. The techs gave me a great tutorial so I could learn how to use everything. Disappointing and shady. The business model seems set to take advantage of people that are not familiar enough with house hold tech to know better and then rake them with charges while setting things up so that the customer must pay them regularly. I bought a house that they had done 3 years prior. They wanted to charge $130 to turn on internet WAN system they had previously installed, it slowed my bandwidth to less than dial up speeds. When asked to turn off their WAN network they wanted to charge for that too. All the work was hard wired in an age of wireless homes. Watch out for these guys! read more

I never wrote a review before. These guys are amazing. I had four companies try to solve the AV, gate and cable issues I had in the last year. None could do it. Digitime did it in a 1/4 of the time of all the others put together! And without any drama. They know what they are doing and are cool and calm. I've never had anyone do this but the front office TAKES NOTES about the issues and progress and reads it back to you for reference when needed and writes emails saying now here's what's left and recites the file progress notes. In these days of no one caring about customer service, I keep pinching myself to make sure I'm not dreaming this because after a number of reputable companies struck out, Digitime was a game changer -- polite, easy, responsive, organized, professional, knowledgeable and great problem-solvers.
