We stopped while visiting the Farmer's Market and were so glad we did. The coffee shop was super cute and in a very cute area. There was a live band right outside and lots of vendors set up. In downtown Wellen park, foxtail coffee is the largest caffeine establishment that immediately catches your eye with its stylish branding and framing near the Sunday morning farmers market. We took advantage of their online ordering as to avoid the morning crowd--which was a solid move. Craving a Cuban coffee, I ordered a cafe con leche, which was offered both hot and iced. Took the leap of faith on this warm March morning, and tried their iced version, which was tasty and not too sweet, but a little bit of a disappointment compared to its normal warm counterpart. My own fault for straying from the norm. The staff was friendly and had our drinks waiting when we arrived about 10 min after placing the order. The inside space is well lit and friendly, but a bit loud so maybe not the coffee spot for studying or keeping to yourself. read more

Foxtail Coffee definitely has the aesthetics down--super cute interior, lots of natural light, and a cozy, Instagram-worthy vibe. It's the kind of place you'd want to hang out with a laptop or catch up with a friend. I tried the matcha, and while it wasn't bad, it didn't blow me away either. It was a bit bland and lacked the smooth, creamy texture I usually look for. That said, the staff was friendly and the place was clean, which I appreciated. Overall, a solid spot for ambiance and atmosphere, but the drinks didn't quite live up to the hype for me. Would come back for the vibes, but probably try a different drink next time. read more

No hot coffee here today (Tues) as coffee grinder broke back on Friday, still broken. This MUST impact business? Settled for a cup of tea. Service very good. Ambiance cute. I was prepared to wait... and then we saw a barista with a hand held ordering device walking the line!! Brilliant!! I had cash and had to get to the counter, but she helped 3 people in front of me! No "real" matcha latte here. It's a "mix" not matcha powder. Fortunately the order taker recommended a tea instead. They had an organic green tea, which I appreciated. My husband opted to order the faux matcha latte, which I tasted, and was exactly what I expected it to be. Glad I passed on that. Service was efficient and friendly in this newer coffee shop. When I'm back in this area I'll continue my search for an authentic matcha latte. Update: just tasted my green tea. It's a big no for me. If this is green tea, whoever manufactured it is color blind. It's bitter, and (also) brown, which is not how green tea works. Sigh. read more

I order the same thing everytime but Ive had really good coffee and really bad coffee here. Their drinks are very inconsistent, sometimes great sometimes really not good. If they made their drinks consistently and good it would get if five star but I have to make it three because of this inconsistency. I really hope they try to stick to their recipies and fix this. read more

I picked up a croissant with eggs and ham (no cheese) and my eggs were literally frozen. The coffee may be fresh but the food sure isn't.

While staying in Venice my friend and I stopped in one morning for coffee. I got a hot latte with lavender and vanilla. It was very good. The lavender added a nice flavor to my coffee. I was happy to see that Foxtail had a whole list of flavors you could add to your coffee. They also had more than one non dairy milk option. My friend and I also got a blueberry muffin to split. Foxtail is in a great location and there are plenty of places to sit outside to enjoy your coffee. read more

I needed a place to do some work for a few hours, so thought I'd give this new spot a try. The staff was welcoming and the longer I stayed the more welcome and friendly I felt! When I arrived near opening there were only 2 baristas and things moved a little slowly, but more came in which is a good thing because it was busy! The place filled with laugher and conversation which I loved. There are a ton of options for seating. There are cozy corners of comfortable chairs, bar seating at the barista bar, standing height tables/stools, comfortable tables, and outdoor seating. There are plenty of plugs and USB outlets if you need those for working! The latte I had was great! It was a little espresso forward, but the espresso was tasty. I did not get any good or ice cream, but the food smelled wonderful. I saw a couple girls get iced coffees that looked like a dream -- that may be what I snag on my next visit! read more

Fortunately the insanely tasty beverages of that first trip meant we'd found the way to start our mornings while we were in town. I loved the iced pumpkin latte, also loved the iced chai. How is it you serve breakfast sandwiches and can't seem to order ketchup, mustard or normal hot sauce? The ladies behind the counter seem to hate their job and smiling is not an option. If you find yourself in Venice, I'd recommend you give this new place a look! Recently opened, they are located in the heart of Downtown Wellen Park. This place has those good vibes the second you walk through the door! Very clean place and lots to look at with both merchandise and art on the walls! I came on Sunday during the farmers market which was a pretty busy morning for them but they handled the rush well! The wait for my iced coffee and food wasn't long... I ordered a Lavender Lemon Cold Brew w/ Vanilla Cold foam. It was given to me without the vanilla cold foam so I approached them about it and they handled it well during the rush. At the end of it all, the drink was DELICIOUS and so was my breakfast croissant. Go give this place a visit! read more

Customer service is out the door at this location! The wait time is way too long. Definitely not coming back after meeting the owner and her business skills. Instead of treating the customer with customer service and salving the issue she was rude and put on her ego as a owner. If ownership is this way that's how the employees will be. My omelet took over 20min to come out people who ordered omelet after me were getting there order. I asked to cancel my order I got a very rude response from the owner that they are not a fast food restaurant. I believe in treating the customers with respect and this was not a pleasant experience. read more
