This is a full-service, sit-down coffee shop. It's not just a drive-through like so many places these days. A comfortable spot to relax indoors with air conditioning, or you can choose outdoor seating at tables with umbrellas if you'd rather enjoy your coffee alfresco. Since it was a warm day, I ordered an iced coffee. The barista was friendly and prepared my medium roast with care. It was flavorful, refreshingly cold, and perfectly balanced once I added some cream and sugar for a touch of richness. I thoroughly enjoyed my drink, and I'll definitely be back again.

We ended up…read moregetting a Fusion Fizz which was one of their handcrafted energy drink offerings served with coconut milk, a hot chai and a quiche. I found the energy drink to be a bit lackluster compared to its description, I think I wished it had a bit more flavor. The dragon fruit flavor seemed to be lost amongst the coconut milk. The chai, however, was full of spice and delicious. I really appreciated that they offered multiple milk options including dairy free/vegan. The star was definitely the quiche though which we got heated up, the crust was flaky and buttery while the egg was well seasoned with tomatoes and mozzarella sprinkled throughout. The baristas were really kind and were patient as we perused the menu. I found the drinks to be a bit on the pricier side, especially for modifications. I don't think this would be my everyday coffee shop but definitely plan to stop by as a treat for some more of their baked goods when I am in town.

The inside of the store is cute and has all of the donuts on display, as well as some seating. I ordered a mini apple fritter and a raspberry jam filled glazed donut. The apple fritter was served warm and had huge chunks of apple in it! It also had a really nice flavor, though it was a little greasier than I'd like. The raspberry jam filled glazed donut was definitely my favorite! The glaze was perfectly crackly and sweet, and the donut itself was so fluffy and soft. It had a very generous amount of that jam filling, which was both tart and sweet! Absolutely delicious and I definitely recommend this one.

I knew it would happen and that it was a matter of time before this location became lackadaisical…read more I'm really torn on whether I should give a three or four star review. If it were based on just one employee alone named Amy, it would be five stars! She remembers people's names. She always greets you when you come in. She always has a smile on her face. And people just seem to perform to their best ability when she is on shift. Now for the days that she's not there, it's hit or miss. I've had to wait for my beverage so people can finish their conversation about head injuries before finishing my drink. I hardly get greeted when she's not there. And they just seem to be a lot slower when she is not over there bringing life into the location. I've seen lines for the drive through literally wrap around the parking lot, with five or six people waiting inside for their mobile orders to be ready. When Amy is there, none of this happens. The woman really just needs to be recognized for how amazing she is. The storefront is always clean and welcoming.

The brown sugar milk tea was perfectly balanced, and my husband said the winter melon tea was just as good. There was only one person working, didn't spoke much to us at all or make any suggestions on what was good he would have recommended on the menu either. The only downside is that they close pretty early, and there isn't much else to do in the plaza. It's more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to sit and hang out, but they do have a nice waiting area, and I loved the milk tea artwork on the wall. We'll definitely be back!

Watch out Florida! There's a new (boba)bae in town!…read more A few girls and I had travelled 2500 miles from Cali for a school business trip and came across this little gem. Tucked in the heart of Port Charlotte, discovering this place was a breath of fresh air as boba have been a staple back home. With a smaller, more intimate menu, it was easier to choose a drink as I always find myself overwhelmed from too many available options. I opted for one of my top 3 favorites which is taro smoothie with honey boba. The drink was tasty and creamy and the boba had a nice consistency. One of the girls from my class took a leap of faith towards the Vietnamese coffee as a first timer and loved her drink. The right amount of punch smoothed out by a blanket of condensed milk to ease the edge. Our drinks barely made it out the shop and I was close to ordering a second one. The place was an absolute vibe with a nice greenery backdrop and a decorative neon light for IG photos. The workers were really sweet and we had even met the owner of BobaBae who had been so genuine and kind. It was beautiful and inspiring to hear her passion and love for both boba and Florida. Thank you BobaBae for making our first experience here in Port Charlotte much more welcoming and comforting!

They have many pastries that just look divine, and not to mention some of the best macarons I've yet tried. It was such a sweet atmosphere and added on to that with how friendly the barista was. The coffee is delicious, well made and strong with the perfect bit of flavoring. I also tried one of their seasonal refresher drinks which had coconut milk, and either raspberry or strawberry and it was amazing. Really fruit in it and you could just tell it was fresh and had good ingredients in it. Starbucks refresher ain't got nothinggg on this. So dang good.
