Since it was a warm day, I ordered an iced coffee. The barista was friendly and prepared my medium roast with care. The chai, however, was full of spice and delicious. I really appreciated that they offered multiple milk options including dairy free/vegan. The star was definitely the quiche though which we got heated up, the crust was flaky and buttery while the egg was well seasoned with tomatoes and mozzarella sprinkled throughout. The baristas were really kind and were patient as we perused the menu. I found the drinks to be a bit on the pricier side, especially for modifications. I don't think this would be my everyday coffee shop but definitely plan to stop by as a treat for some more of their baked goods when I am in town.

Tucked in the heart of Port Charlotte, discovering this place was a breath of fresh air as boba have been a staple back home. With a smaller, more intimate menu, it was easier to choose a drink as I always find myself overwhelmed from too many available options. I opted for one of my top 3 favorites which is taro smoothie with honey boba. The drink was tasty and creamy and the boba had a nice consistency. One of the girls from my class took a leap of faith towards the Vietnamese coffee as a first timer and loved her drink. The right amount of punch smoothed out by a blanket of condensed milk to ease the edge. Our drinks barely made it out the shop and I was close to ordering a second one. The place was an absolute vibe with a nice greenery backdrop and a decorative neon light for IG photos. The workers were really sweet and we had even met the owner of BobaBae who had been so genuine and kind. It was beautiful and inspiring to hear her passion and love for both boba and Florida.
