Serenity Sips is a super cute and cozy coffee shop--such a great little spot to stop in. I ordered the matcha latte with oat milk, dark chocolate, and pistachio, and wow... so delicious. The combination was unique, well-balanced, and tasted amazing from the first sip to the last. I also grabbed the egg and cheese English muffin for a quick bite, which was simple, warm, and hit the spot perfectly. Overall, a great place with wonderful service for a quality drink, a quick bite, and a relaxed vibe. I'll definitely be back to try more from their menu. read more

I WANT it to be 5 stars worthy and I've given this place multiple chances, but the truth is, the coffee just isn't that great. Nor is the latte. I've ordered a plain old cafe con leche and a vanilla latte and maybe 1 in 10 was tasty -- and by that I mean missing the bitter metal aftertaste I always hope isn't going to bite me on my first sip, and then it inevitably does. It's the same reason I avoid Starbucks establishments if I can: that same bitter aftertaste. Maybe it's the equipment used; maybe it's their beans: maybe it's their methods. Dubnknow. What I do know is a great hot caffeine beverage when I actually taste one. Not here, I'm (very) sad to say. Look, the pickings are slim in Venice for coffee, period, so I'm glad Serenity Sips is even an option. Too bad it just isn's an option that provides great taste. read more

Located on US 41South(Tamiami Trail) in South Venice. The coffee shop as roasted coffee from Vietnam, which is roasted by the owner. The shop has some baked goods that are also made at the shop. The shop is a great location for a gathering place with friends and or family. The coffee is good and there are free refills. Stop in for good coffee and a break from the day. read more

Decent place. An earlier review mentioned coffee was bitter. I had the same experience, the espresso drink was very sharp and wasn't dialed in to be smooth and balanced, the equipment is top notch so maybe they weren't train well? There aren't a lot of great options in Venice so I would say average. Also, I am not a fan of onions and all the breakfast options had onions so I didn't get to try any of those. read more

Clean & spacious cafe with dine in or take out options. They offer coffee, tea, energy drinks, lemonade, boba, fresh baked goods and sandwiches. As soon as you walk in, it feels warm & welcoming. I ordered a matcha dalgona with almond milk and it was ready in a couple minutes. The matcha cream (which has to be made with heavy cream so it whips up) was plentiful & it was quite an aesthetically please drink. The only due side, you have to mix the heck out of it before you drink it haha; but, that's just the nature of a dalgona. They also offer a coffee & chocolate option. It came in a very sturdy plastic cup that could be reused over and over again if you wanted. The staff was super friendly & the prices were quite reasonable. My drink was less than $7. read more

My mom and I discovered this place while I was in town visiting (thank you, Yelp!). It's only about 5 minutes from their house and she had never been -- but now will definitely return! We were greeted immediately upon entering this cute coffee shop with ample seating. They've got a pastries case along with a menu with a variety of coffee/espresso drinks and flavors to customize what you order. I got the cold brew which was the right level of potency and my mom got the dirty chai which she loved! We also sampled with custard crème puff and the strawberry butter danish - both made fresh that morning and both delightful. Plus, everything was reasonably priced. Hands-down, the best espresso I have found in the Venice area! The espresso was creamy and smooth- totally delicious! The regular coffee is also very smooth and tasty. My husband and I split a crumb cake that had a ton of crumbs on the top and the cake was moist and delightful. The owner let us taste the Vietnamese iced coffee, which I will get next time because it had a fabulous flavor and a great jolt of caffeine.
