First impressions are everything when it comes to the service industry, and my first experience with this company leads me to believe that I will go elsewhere for gutter cleaning service in the future. I definitely will not be recommending this company to my friends or family. I rarely write reviews but I feel that in this case it is necessary to let other Yelp users know that this company does not operate in good faith. They make empty promises and do not follow through on what they say they will do. However, I do have to give the owner/manager credit for his timely responses (hence the 2 stars). The root of the problem is that the communication skills of the crew which he sends out to the actual job site is very poor. The crew he sent to my house barely spoke English so it was almost impossible to communicate with them on a professional level. I paid $240 for literally 15-20 minutes of actual work. His crew arrived and completed their "cleaning" in less than hour. They were supposed to send me before and after pictures, but I was told after the fact that was not on the invoice. Problem with that is I took a screen shot of the messages from Yelp in which I stated and confirmed multiple times that the owner/manager would send me before and after pictures of my gutters. Owner was not even willing to compensate or offer any sort of good faith discount for the misunderstanding and miscommunication. Update: I am shocked and disappointed that an owner of a service oriented business thinks it is alright to communicate with a paying customer like this (see screenshot of texts). Reply: Thank you Mr. Jefferson for your reply. However, I find it strange that Jocí (the supposed owner/manager) did not reply himself here on Yelp. He was quick to send me angry and sarcastic texts with eyes rolled emoji's but he did not have the professionalism to address me here on Yelp? Mind you he was the one who initiated the texts in the first place with an unprofessional text regarding me as "the type of negotiator who wants to win at any cost." He also said "A good negotiator knows that one day you win and one day you lose." I have no idea what he was talking about but this is just another example of the kind of service a customer could expect when dealing with Jocí. I do have video time stamping when your crew arrived and when they left and audio of your crews lack of communication skills. I saw on video your crew go up on the roof with a leaf blower and a garbage bag. They came back down 15-20 minutes later with the bag seemingly empty. Without the before and after pictures you agreed to send how do I know your crew did what Jocí called "a job well done"? I know that I did not see any pressure washer and you did not use my water hose. Furthermore, there was no trace of water when I got home and checked my gutters from the ground about an hour and a half after your crew had left. read more

I don't know if I've ever written a review before, but Joci did an incredible job on my gutters. I hired Fox based on the reviews I saw on Yelp, and he was definitely up to the five-star standard. I recommend them highly---responsive, on time, great job, reasonable price. read more

We hired them to clean the windows and screens of our 4 story condo building. The crew was professional, punctual and our windows have never been this clean! I can't recommend them enough. The owner is charming and provides quotes, business license and iliability insurance promptly. They will definitely be on our service list from now on. read more

Joci really came through for me. He and his helper did a great job, when I needed it. He worked me in and I did not have to wait. He was a tad more expensive, but took the time and it was money well spent. I recommend him, and will use them again! Sue Dumas Alain Pinel Realtors read more

I tried Fox because of current Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. Joci responded to calls within 24 hours and was able to schedule the two homes I needed gutter cleaning and window washing within a week and performed both on the same day. His crew did an excellent job and I would not hesitate to contact them again next time. read more

If I could give 10 starts I would! They guys were very nice and did an AMAZING job cleaning our gutters and downspouts. They thought the job would take 90 minutes but they were here for more than 3 hours and of course the price did not change. They came right after our gardner so I was worried that everything they were blowing off the roof and out of the gutters would mess up our clean yard. No need to worry as they cleaned up everything on the ground even better than the gardner. I could not recommend these guys more. They did a great job! Now lets get some rain! read more

Joci at Fox was great! It was easy to get an appointment. The estimate process was smooth. The gutter cleaning work I needed was done easily and expertly -- and affordably. I highly recommend. read more

Called on Thursday afternoon for gutter cleaning. I thought I would have to wait at least a week before they could do the job because of all the rain we've been having. I received an email quote that evening and he was here at 9:00 the next morning. Reasonable price. Nice clean up after also. Will use again. read more

This is the second time I've had Joci and his crew professional clean the windows and screens for my two story house, and once again they knocked it out of the park! They show up on time with ladders, clean towels, and floor coverings, and put those shoe booties on before stepping into the house. After the heavy rains and wind this past winter, the windows and screens were filthy...these guys made every single one look brand new! These guys are hard working, professional, and the best at what they do. If you've never had professional window cleaning, give these guys a shot...you will be impressed. read more

Fantastic job! I called Fox Window & Gutter Cleaning and Joci came by, gave me a $250 estimate for the whole job: Gutter cleaning, outside window cleaning & screens). He sent me a backup estimate via email and we scheduled a date. They were a few minutes late, but they texted that they were going to be a few minutes late so I appreciated that. The job took two guys and they were pleasant and quick and efficient, didn't waste water and cleaned up after themselves. Final result = $250. So no hidden surprises! Very pleased with the work. Would hire again and am recommending to neighbors. read more

They cleaned windows at my mom's house in Daly City. She was absolutely stunned by the quality and professionalism they showed. They did an amazing job and my mom is one of those people who are hard to please. She will definitely be using them again when she needs windows washed. Highly recommend them. read more

I sold my house and I wanted the windows and gutters to be cleaned before the close of escrow which is 5 days from today. I'm glad I found Fox Window & Gutter Cleaning Services online. Joci the manager was quick enough to give me a quote and scheduled the work to be done the same day. His crew was the kind of people I like to work with. Very thorough and fast workers. They were careful in removing the screens and some windows and respectful of my home. In less than 3 hours they were able to clean my gutters including my garage which was a separate building. There were 12 windows in the main house and 2 windows in the garage/multipurpose room. They also cleaned 1 big ceiling fan in the living room and 3 small ceiling fans in the kitchen/dining room and one bedroom. I was so impressed and I will recommend them to my clients, friends, and family. Oh, by the way, the charge was reasonable and everything was done online, the quote and payment. So very convenient. Thank you Joci and your crew for a job very well done! read more

I highly recommend Fox Window Cleaning. Joci is professional and reliable with reasonable prices. I am a repeat customer and will continue to use them (especially given I can't reach the upper story windows). My windows have not been cleaner. Thank you Fox! read more

I would love to say I recommend them like everyone here but they never gave me a chance! I submitted an online request for a quote. Didn't hear from them so I called on Thursday last week (10/8). I told the gentleman who answered the phone that I requested a quote online but never heard from anyone. He couldn't seem to find any record of it. So, fine, I was perfectly happy to make an appointment over the phone. Saturday, 10/10 at 11am. No one ever showed up, no one called, and I still haven't heard from anyone. Makes me wonder about all of these fabulous reviews. Well, I gave them a chance....good luck to everyone else! read more

Joci did a fantastic job cleaning out the gutters and downspouts of my house! The entire experience of working with Joci was excellent. He arrived on-time (just a tad early, but that's OK!), and cleared a clogged downspout, and cleaned out the gutters of the house. I observed that he was conscientious of keeping his work area very clean - no messes left behind. My mom went on the roof to observe his work, and she noted that he did a fantastic job of clearing out all the gunk from the gutters...she has high standards (I should know...have had to deal with this my whole life), so that's rare kudos from her! Excellent experience working with Joci - I'd definitely call him the next time the gutters need cleaning! read more

Don't look any further ..... Joci and his crew are fantastic. In the past month we have used Fox Window and Gutter Cleaning twice. The first time was to clean our gutters. The gutters hadn't been cleaned in over 12 years. Joci and his team arrived on time, worked diligently throughout the day, and cleaned up before they left. One of our downspouts was badly clogged. I needed to call a plumbing company to snake the line to the street. However the plumbing company wouldn't touch the downspout. Really???? I had to call Josie back and ask him to remove the downspout so that the plumbing company could clear the clog. I know this sounds crazy but it's what happend. Joci returned and removed the downspout and when the plumbing company was finished, Joci came back and secured the downspout. And he didn't even charge me for two additional trips to my house. We were so impressed that we asked him to come back in a few weeks and clean our windows inside and out. The windows were completed in less than one day. Again Joci & his crew did an outstanding job. We have over 30 small pane windows in our home and the task had become too great for my husband & I. We are so delighted with the results. I'm only giving Fox Window & Gutter Cleaning 5 stars, but they deserve 10! read more

Joci did a great job! He's very friendly and his work is thorough and careful. I hadn't realized just how much grime had collected on the inside of our windows, but after the cleaning, the difference is "clear". Sorry. Anyways, our view of the bay is much better now! read more

Joci and his team at Fox Window and Gutter do an AMAZING job! Five years ago, we installed new wood windows and skylights. They were beautiful and hard to clean, as our house is on the side of a hill. I was afraid to have someone wash them for fear they would damage them. After three years however, they were so dirty, I had to find someone. Fox had great reviews, so I gave them a call. Joci was booked up for several weeks, but I needed my windows clean before returning to school in August, so Joci moved some things around to squeeze me in. He and his team were prompt, professional, and left my windows, screens, and skylights beautifully clean. The second time he came out, he noticed that the shade on one of my skylights was not working well. It turned out that the solar cell had gone bad, but the shade was under warranty, so we got a new one for free. I mostly keep the shades closed, so if Joci had not noticed this issue, the shade may have been out of warranty before I noticed. Joci just came out a few weeks ago, and I was impressed at how he and his helper were very respectful about always putting on masks when inside my home as part of COVID protocols. I highly recommend Joci and his team at Fox Window and Gutter if you want outstanding service and beautiful windows! read more

Not that often you can contact a company, have the estimate within 24 hours and the service done the same week. ...... .. and done correctly! My windows looked beautiful for my Easter brunch. Thank you. read more

Joci did an awesome job on our windows - inside and out! He thoroughly cleaned the windows, windowsills and screens and they are sparkling clean and beautiful! Even the hard to reach 3rd story windows are spotless - you can barely even tell there is glass there. I almost had him only do the outside windows to save money, but I'm so glad that I decided to do inside and outside - it makes a huge difference and saved me a huge amount of work and time. He was courteous, wearing shoe covers inside and bringing a drop cloth so water didn't get on the floors. He came as scheduled and gave an estimate. When I expressed my need to have the job done within the next 2 days (poor planning on my part), he was able to come the very next day to complete the work. It was a lifesaver! I will definitely recommend Joci and definitely use him again next time. Thanks! read more

Joci did a terrific job on our windows, sliding doors, and screens. We have a large picture window, and the difference after he cleaned it was amazing. He was prompt to come out and see what we needed, understood what I was asking for, and got it all done quickly and for a good price (and right before we were going to show our house, so the timing was important). He was friendly and professional throughout, and clearly worked hard to get the windows all completely cleaned. Highly recommended. read more

Joci did a marvelous job on our windows! We have a difficult access situation... many small panes and high off the ground. This was not a problem for this skilled crew! They finished on time and on budget. I cannot recommend them highly enough! BRAVO! read more

I asked these people for a quote for my 3300 sq ft house in Redwood City a couple of weeks ago and Joci came by to have a look. I received a form letter a day or so later addressed to "Dear Customer" with a quote of $880 for window cleaning services. I think this would work out to more than $20/window. Needless to say I had a good laugh and called someone else who did a good job for less than half that amount. So I can't speak to the quality of the work they do, but let's be honest, cleaning windows isn't rocket science, probably most cleaners do a good job. Personally I won't waste my time calling these people for a quote any more. read more

This is only the second time I have been motivated enough to write a yelp review and truly would have liked to give Joci and Pablo 6 stars! Woohoo etc!..and then some!! Simply can't say enough about their professionalism, attention to detail, friendliness and perhaps most of all ... the quality of the work product. We have a lot of windows and french doors - hundreds of panels of divided light. Joci and Pablo now have us truly enjoying these and the way they bring the "outdoors in"!. Thank you guys!. If you have spent a small fortune on windows - Marvin, Loewen, Pella, Sierra, Kolbe Andersen (take your pick!) , do yourself a favor, call Joci ... and begin truly enjoying them. read more

During the recent rainstorm, I contacted Fox to clean the gutters. Joci, the owner is a joy to work with. He emailed the quote to me within a few hours and scheduled an appointment within a few days. His crew was prompt, professional, and cleaned up after. The day after the gutters were cleaned, rain water was pouring down the front of the house. I called Joci immediately since another rainstorm was coming. He came out personally the next day to inspect the gutters and patched all the leaks, for no additional charges. How rare is that ! Responsive, professional, and follow through. Highly recommended. I would give him 10 stars. read more

Fox Window and Gutter Cleaning worked on my house twice: to clean gutters and, a year later, to clean windows. Joci and crew did a great job. They were prompt, responsive, and professional. Their price was reasonable. For a little extra payment, they also put bird spikes under awnings (so that birds no longer dirty the windows and sills below the awnings). I have no complaints. read more

Excellent job of cleaning my gutters. Highly recommend Joci and his team. Easy to communicate with, provided an accurate quote (less than what I paid previously), and got the job done as planned. But most importantly his team cleaned up really well including all walkways, steps to my building and the street sidewalk. I plan to schedule him every year for gutter cleaning. read more

For some reason, my online request didn't get answered, but as soon as I called the phone number, I had the best service! I live out of town and needed the gutters cleaned at the house that my mother owns and my daughter lives in. They gave me an estimate within a day or two and were on the job as soon as I accepted it. They did a great job and allowed me to mail them a check after the fact. Communicating with Fox Windows and Gutters was very good and they let me know as soon as my check arrived. My neighbor liked them so much that she wanted their contact info. I highly recommend them and will be using them again! read more

What a hard working team! Joci is really easy to work with and makes sure the job is done right. And his crew is very polite.
