We have had a problem with Meal Moths. We contacted Fox as we already have a contract with them after finding wasp nests in our garage two summers ago. Trevor came out, promptly, on May 12th, and put traps in likely spots. The traps caught some moths, but we still saw one or two fly through the living room almost nightly. Jonathan came out right away, on May 30th. He checked the traps and then helped us go through our pantry. Luckily there are not many things in our pantry that are susceptible to a moth infestation(mostly jars, not boxes of foods). Jonathan explained, in lay details, about this particular moth. We took all dry products, put them in ziplock bags and then into the freezer for 48 hours. Other than exactly one moth that flew by just after Jonathan left, we have not seen another. We had 2 wasp nests in and just outside our garage. Fox took care of it right away, came back 2 weeks later to check if all were gone. We now have a contract for a little over 2 years and haven't had a problem with wasps anymore. Max helped us and is always fast in responding to texts. The spray around the house every 3 months. Recently we had little meal moths flying in our house. Jonathan came over and explained where they come from, how to find them. He went through our pantry (cake mixes, seasoning, dry pastas) and found the source. After throwing that out he told us what and where to clean to get rid of their nesting places. Very friendly guy, very helpful. So far we haven't spotted any more moths. read more

Yeah, we were pulled into a two year contract. I am not happy with the service. Bugs are still a problem. The extra fees and whatnot to set up a contract with monthly payments, only to see them one time. We'll see how this plays out. Once we're out of this, I'll go back to paying $8 for a Spectricide hose option bug killer. Let's see if Fox actually does anything for winter prep, you know, like the anti-mouse, anti-box elder, anti-stink bug, etc. treatments that cost us $200 up front and $60/month on this contract. The sales people of this company talk to you into paying monthly, and they signed you up for a contract. I asked if there was a termination fee, they said no. However, they charge you a termination fee of $150!! They state - it's in the contract, regardless of what their sales people say. They do not call to schedule their appointments and just show up. The exterminators are incredibly rude and argumentative. They didn't provide the services they were supposed to. I was told it was too cold to do my garage or external house. When I called to cancel, I was told they could do those services. I wound up paying close To $300 per visit to get my basement done in a tiny house. read more

She was laughing about me and called me a bitch. I canceled service. They would not refund my money. Just offer me to come back out. Which I didn't want ! It's a Pathetic Service! No one shows up after the contract is signed, you get a message before the appointment stating that we will be there in 1 hr, and in next 5 min they send another message that the service is completed!!! What should i call Them? Now another issue is that when they talk to you for signing up for service, they say 1 year service, after a year they say No, we signed you up for 2-year contract! This has been the worst company I had to deal with. We told them at the time we signed the contract that we only want to sign for a one year service and we refused to give them automatic billing on our credit card even though we faced intense pressure from the sales rep. The sales representative finally relented than lose our account. He indicated that that they wont need or bill our credit card automatically and that they will not renew our contract automatically but they will bill us for every service and we can pay as we go by check or by credit card. We called them and sent an email in June, two months before the end of the contract, that we will not be renewing their services. In August they again set a service date and when we called them they said that they have no record of the email of the phone call I made in June! The account rep (Parker) demanded a $150 cancellation fee or we will have to continue their services... this was like dealing with the mafia! Very high pressure sales tactics for an unnecessary stressful experience. I would definitely not recommend them as the services they provided were below par in the first place. In fact we had complained about that 4 months before the contract end date and their manager had reached out to us and we had told him that we do not wish them to come back to our home again. How many times do they want customers to notify them that they don't need their services and why would they force themselves on their clients? Had a guy from Fox Pest Control come by to try and sell me services. He was super pushy and said that he would come back when the "man of the house was available". He said a certain neighbor had "a serious pest issue" and would give me a discount if he could provide services RIGHT NOW (when I said no that's when he said he'll just come back when the man was home). He has been up and down my street now for a couple days and gives each neighbor a different name of the neighbor with the issue. read more

Had services started at an old property in the PROPERTY OWNERS name not mine. This company has CONTINUOUSLY harassed me over a small bill owed by the property owner. The phone calls, text messages and emails have not stopped coming in after I have had SEVERAL managers tell me my information will be REMOVED and I will never be contacted again. Single Moms RUN!!!! They take advantage of people on a regular basis, as seen in another review about this same problem. My tenant had a small mice problem. They charged her $250. For the initial charge and then talked her into a two year $60. charge on her credit card to solve the problem. With a cancellation fee if you cancelled the extensive contract they pressure you to sign!!!!!! Overkill for a small problem. Find another Co. These guys are great. Locally managed sand operated. The first time I called for assistance, I noticed the truck up the street. There was a wretched smell coming from under the laundry room sink. I called Fox and the associate was here after he completed the neighbor's job. He came in and sniffed; concurred that there was indeed a stink. He said in fact I'd be surprised, but a tiny dead mouse could create such an odor. He wasn't sure that was the issue. He offered to inspect the home's perimeter and reported back his findings. Nothing terribly obvious, and the dead mouse smell - if it is the source of the stink - will dissipate in a few days time. There was no charge for this visit or advice. Epilogue: The foul odor was actually a plumbing issue that resolved with repairs. The next time I heard from Fox was when they were working in the neighborhood and offering a deal for a year-long quarterly service. I never forgot the tech's kindness. For the first time ever, we signed up. I don't like creatures IN the house. Especially mice and/or stink bugs. We have a large backyard garden that was to be taken into consideration: treat the house only. The products used are environmentally responsible. We previously had stink bugs homing here. Yes, harmless, but freakish flyers. Sneaky too, buzzing out of curtains at odd times. Each quarter they would text a heads up, let us know what they're doing, always respectful of the property, careful and thorough. Mike L was here recently and explained why this winter month was a good month to do his job. "Most effective spider, any, sand stink bug elimination of the year." He added they always use "their expert rodent eye" (I want one!) to inspect potential entries and seal them! Who knew? I always get a detailed report after the visit. This business and the trained, licensed technicians pride themselves on customer service which they definitely delivered. Every time. We heard some mice in our walls on a Saturday evening, I contacted Fox through their website on Sunday afternoon to try and set up an appointment. They called on Monday morning, and we're at our house on Tuesday to set some traps and spray the interior and exterior for other pests as well! The response was great! They were great at finding a quick, but convenient time to come address the pest issue. Our technician, Earl, was personable and took the time to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it! When my dogs ran out and startled the tech he threw some kind of Liquid at my Dog They ran in the house. The tech did not call or report the incident. I have had Fox Pest Control's quarterly service for a year now, and I couldn't be happier with the service I have received. I have had several problems with ants, bees and mice in my house and every time there is an issue, Fox comes out for free as a perk of having the quarterly service. Recently I had bees getting into my bedroom and John, a technician came out and checked for bees and treated the whole area inside and outside. The company is claiming I signed a contract, however the name on the account along with the signature are not mine nor do they even match. Fox Pest Control can also not even provide me with the proof showing that I signed this contract. They continue to bill for a monthly service, yet no one shows up to do anything. I tried to cancel services and now they want $150 to break a contract that I never signed. The "contract" also has services on there that have never been performed nor was the reasoning for me calling them for services. . This review is based on our attempts to hire them, and not the services themselves, but this is a company that doesn't seem to want business! We called, were told they could not do same day visit as advertised, and that someone would come Monday at 8AM. I called around 9:30 to check status and was told whoever took our order had the incorrect house number and even the wrong street, even though my husband gave him the info, very clearly. I asked why no one let us know, and this same person didn't even take down our phone number, which had also been provided. Instead of anyone looking at phone records or listening to the calls (as they are supposedly recorded), the technician just never showed and no one bothered to try to reach out. I was told I would be receiving a call back to reschedule another time, and that I would be receiving a call from the manager, and none of that has happened. I selected Fox Pest Control because of the large amount of positive reviews on google. So, I'm surprised that I need to leave this very disappointed review here. I have a one year subscription with Fox Pest Control. They did a good job with the initial visit with my concern about cockroaches (the only reason I'm tempted give two stars... but I can't!). But I have been in contact with them since JANUARY about a rodent infestation and the problem has only gotten worse in the last 2 months. Per their recommendation, I paid to have the basement sealed up the eliminate entry points into the house. Despite that, they continue to only leave bait traps outside, and sticky traps inside, failing to do anything about the rodents inside the residence living space after a total of four visits in the last two months. Seeing how the problem has only gotten worse, I'm going to have to turn to another service as of today! read more

I called Fox immediately after purchasing an older home which had been empty for several months. I wanted to know that there wouldn't be any surprises when I moved my things in! Nicholas came out and did a thorough inspection of the basement through the third floor. And guess what? The news was great - no rodents and no reason to exterminate. What a relief! And, what a great company that doesn't force its employees to try and sell services customers don't need. I highly recommend Fox and will call them if I do have any bugs in the spring. read more

I'm not one to leave negatives reviews often, but Fox Pest Control has been a big disappointment. I called them about a month ago, after having issues with bees burrowing into the side of our house. The first time I called, I was able to reach someone right away. The service representative was very friendly, and they came out the next day and sprayed. I was told that they would return in about 2 weeks to check on things. They never did. The situation with the bees didn't improve, so I've been trying to contact them daily, sitting on hold multiple times a day, unable to reach anyone. While you're on hold, they even say "put us on speaker, grab a snack while you wait for a representative!". They aren't kidding. No one answers. I tried calling at least 20 times over the course of two weeks. You have an option to leave a VM after waiting on hold for 30 minutes. I did that as well. No one returned my call. Finally, today, I emailed them and requested to cancel service, along with the yearly contract. I don't expect a reply, but we will see! I just talked to my bank and filed a dispute. I'l be finding a new exterminator. read more
