I bought a brand-new Honda Pilot for $45,000, and the dealership pushed me into purchasing unnecessary warranties: "Paint and Fabric" and "Windshield Protection" for $888, plus an "Electrical Protective" package for $5,988. Within 24 hours, I realized I didn't need these and asked to cancel. They claimed I had 3 months to cancel but refused to provide any proof. The finance guy even asked me to delay canceling so he could get his commission--completely unprofessional! When I returned after registration, they canceled the electrical warranty only after much arguing, but then lied and said the other two weren't cancelable. They even mocked me when I brought up their earlier promises. This dealership is full of liars, unreliable, and completely disrespectful. I'll never recommend them to anyone. Went in to purchase a used car we got there a little late but we did all the paperwork on a tablet at 11.9 percent at 44 months we thought everything was ready to go we just had to give them the deposit and pickup the keys when we came back they had the interest now at 20% and added a warranty told them we didn't want the warranty but they kept the interest rate at 20%. He said we were both lying about the interest rate and told me to duck off and then i told him to duck off as well and we left we should of took pictures of the tablet or asked for paper. read more

We are going back tomorrow to get our air conditioning serviced/recharged and new windshield inserts. We got a new puppy so unfortunately we are returning the two stuffed animals we bought in the gift shop there. They have a super cool gift shop and the gentleman who works there is so nice too! Our experience at Honda Fowler was the worst car-buying experience ever. We were searching for an SUV as a birthday gift for my mother and came across a vehicle for sale at this dealer. Communication with Erin was easy to begin with, but then it went non-responsive--despite my multiple follow-up emails, I have not received a reply from her. Following our negotiations with Erin, the sales manager, Ross emailed us and explained that if they were to take our counteroffer, financing would need to be handled through the dealership. I reaffirmed our interest, presented our current rate, and was told by the Finance Director Justin that they could most likely match or beat it. This is what prompted us to fill out the credit application, which required a hard credit check. I immediately informed Erin after it was completed, and she replied right away, stating that she would let Justin know and asked for some time. During the day, however, we didn't hear another word from Erin, Ross, or Justin regarding the status of the application. Despite following up and even suggesting we put down a security deposit to show our commitment--since we were buying from out of state--our email went completely unanswered. When I finally followed up with Justin to ask for an update earlier this morning, I was informed by Ross that the car had been sold to a customer who lived locally the day before. The entire process was unprofessional and misleading. The poor communication ,false hope, and the insensitivity towards our time and effort were all highly disappointing. Fowler Honda's site states to build your deal. After building a deal and speaking to salesman then New car manager we discussed the fact their car didn't have mark-up of $3000 like other dealers because of availability. They only had $799 which I was okay with that and understanding. Buying it outright would have been a good deal. So we negotiate a time for me to drive the car and agree to the terms. This is when Nate (NCM) lowball's my trade to less than FAIR condition at $21500 which is a complete insult to me. That's where they Fowler Honda makes up the $3000 plus in mark up compared to the so called other dealers. What a complete waste of my time. If they would have honored THEIR site I would have purchased the car. I walked out disgusted with the new tactics and management. Let's get some things straight, my Accord was bought new from them. I'm the original owner, non-smoker, no accidents and ALWAYS garage kept. On top of that I've had all maintenance completed, recent tires, tranny flush, alignment, etc.and have records. On top of that currently have a Honda Care Warranty, Zero Deductible top of the line, good until Sep '16 2024 or 120,000 mile which is transferable. After checking out the problem it was determined that it was a minor issue and did not charge him. A week ago, someone rear-ended me while I was stopped on the highway on an exit ramp. They totaled my car and made me very anxious about driving on the highway. But, I summoned up the courage to drive down to Norman because I like the way Fowler invests their money in the community. Well, I'm happy to say it was a really good decision. Joshua greeted me when I arrived. He was helpful, but not pushy, and made sure everything was easy for me. I have been tired since the accident and haven't had a ton of energy, and Joshua was patient and went above and beyond in every way. I was able to quickly test drive the car, go over what I wanted from a vehicle and discuss pricing options with him. I hate this part of the car-buying process, but he made it extremely comfortable. Joshua noticed I was alone and had brought a rental car, and he offered to personally drive my car back to Enterprise. I've never received such an offer at a dealership, and the attention to detail caught me completely off guard. He also offered me a great selection of beverages while I waited. I told him I'm obsessed with Sprite, so he brought me two because they were small. I repeat: I asked for a Sprite and he brought me two. It sounds silly, but this is a great example of the experience at Fowler. When I went to the finance office (my least-favorite part of car buying), Chris was wonderful and not pushy. He made it clear that he wanted my car to be protected, and he went through all of the options, even though I walked in saying, "Nope. I won't want any of it." We had a good laugh about the way people treat finance guys at dealerships, and he accepted that I wasn't interested. As soon as we were done, Joshua had already vacuumed my car, given it a car wash and had my roof rack installed. He even offered to take my picture when he pulled the car around. As he handed me the keys, he told me about the little extras he had thrown into the car (even though I didn't get the awesome Honda tent I was eyeballing). Then, he explained that he had already booked my first oil change. When I drove to Norman, I was terrified of the highway and not feeling well. On the way home in my new car with all of the safety features I wanted, I was smiling from ear to ear. TLDR: This dealership is the real deal. The experience is wonderful from start to finish. The finance manager tried to get me to sign a second set of finance paperwork and told me "You'll regret the day you did this!" Today, I called for service due to a recall notice. The service employee told me to hang up and go on the web to make my appointment. "It's way easier," he said. I went on the web and entered all my details. This was disappointing. I bought a battery this summer on a trip where I couldn't buy it at a Honda Dealer. It was the top of the line battery from O'Reilly Auto. This was only 3 months ago. Today when I went in for an oil change, the service advisor told me my battery was bad and he recommended I buy a Honda battery. He showed me a slip that said their machine indicated it was only showing 105 cold cranking amps rather than the 500 it should be. When I expressed my surprise because it was a new battery he said something to the effect of "maybe they sold you a bad battery. Our batteries are really good and we warranty them." I drove immediately to O'Reilly and they tested the battery. They tested it at 500 cold cranking amps all the way up to 1025 which is as high as it goes and it tested good at every test. I called Fowler and asked my advisor what could have happened. He said that maybe O'Reilly's machine was bad or maybe Fowler's needed recalibrated (do those machines even calibrate?) He said they do sometimes get "false negatives" but that O'Reilly could also be getting a false positive. Even if this is possible that his machine needs recalibrated I told him that it concerned me that they would be using equipment to diagnose my car that's not accurate. This is just a $150 diagnosis. It is fair to wonder if the other $1000 worth of suggested repairs were accurately diagnosed as well. I'm willing to pay more for the dealer's service because they are experts who do the job right. That would include using accurately calibrated tools to diagnose and sell services. This experience leaves me feeling like either their equipment isn't accurate or they were being dishonest in order to sell me something I clearly didn't need. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt but also felt that if I was going to continue to use Fowler with confidence that my advisor needed to give me a clear answer. I was disappointed that the best he could give me was to say "well it's he said, she said. O'Reilly's machine says it's good ours says it's bad. Who knows which is right?" I'm sorry but this is not a relative or subjective issue. A battery can be tested with objective, reliable results. If you are unsure about your equipment please don't suggest a service to me I don't need. I'm not an unreasonable or demanding customer who regularly writes negative reviews. I just want honesty, especially when it comes to a business I spend tens of thousands of dollars with in vehicles and thousands per year in maintenance. read more

I shopped every dealer in the metro area from Edmond to Norman, and settled on Fowler because of the low-hassle pricing and GREAT customer service. I came back a week ago for the new buyer's clinic and had a great time. For an hour of my Thursday I learned some great tips about my vehicle's care, and will receive my first oil change for free. They also had some pretty cool giveaways (and free food). Although it is not the closest to me I plan to come to Fowler for my servicing needs. I'm still using wipes to clean the grease from my steering wheel. There was grease all on the inside door and it was gross. I feel that the dealership should take a lot more pride in their work. Everyone involved in our car buying experience made it a great one. Even the finance manager (in a position that usually gets a bad rap) did everything right. We bought a used Ford Escape in about three hours, which made the pregnant, busy, overwhelmed mom very happy. Lane was our salesperson and he took such great care of us. Once we made our appointment, we sent them a list of the cars we had been looking at on the AutoTrader app. Lane had those cars pulled up to the front two parking places for us, and they had run the A/C for a while so the cars were nice and cool for us. JC, the General Sales Manager came out to greet us as well. We drove two cars, asked Lane about a million questions, got them all answered and Lane took great care of us and I highly recommend him! Chris, the finance manager, was our next stop after we decided on the Escape. He was different - more easy going and less aggressive - than anyone in his position. He was so nice I was afraid that was part of his tactic and I was going to get lulled into a false sense of security, lol. But it turned out, he just did his job and I didn't need to be so worried about that part of the process. Part of what helped with this is we were pre-approved through our credit union (OECU) for a great rate, so we weren't trying to get into any of that with him and I felt confident we had the best rate possible. We had to run back down the next day to bring a cancelled check and get the windows tinted. We're thrilled with our purchase, and I'm honestly thrilled to be able to write a 5-star review about our experience at a local car dealership. read more

Honestly pretty mixed about this place. I bought my civic and it was my first car purchase, at first I thought the salesmen and financial officer were super nice but their techs and supervisors are questionable. Upon buying my car I was very happy, everyone was nice and I felt listened to, at first. I asked clearly that the car be inspected and made sure everything was in good condition (tires, oil, fluids etc.) or I would not be driving the car. Everything seemed fine until I get home and go to work in the morning and EVERY single tire was flat. I immediately called and asked to speak with someone about this, I hadn't even had my car for 24 hours smh. They said they gave me all new tires and i went home only for 2 to go flat in a month... I've had this reoccurring issue for over a year and they will do nothing about it. They never do what I ask. Instead of looking into the issue w my tires/wheels to figure out the issue they insist on repetitive "maintenance". Honest bullshit. The people upfront seem great but can't say the same for the techs and service crew. I've also noticed this is a problem for Civics other and newer than mine ('15) so be on the lookout for that if you like them!!! read more

This is one of the best dealerships we shopped at. Everything from the start to the end was great. We shopped at about 5 other dealerships including one other Honda dealer. Our sales guy was Teddy, he was great. He reported to be a master Honda mechanic and walked us through the engine, transmission, and technology of the car. The new four cylinder engines no longer have timing belts which was a big selling point. Teddy was not aggressive in his sale. He even took his time as we tried our car seat and stroller. He was not bothered that we also came in late in the evening. That's a major plus to this dealership. Their hours of operation. Next was Chaz, he was nice himself. He was still able to negotiate some more on the price. He presented the car information up front like the car fax, the work done by the dealership. No dealership is ever going to show you the real invoice on the car but the car was still priced under blue book value. Also get the online coupon and take another few hundred dollars off. Last was Chris, the finance guy. A few things before you buy a car, know your credit score, have a bank or credit union pre-approve you, and ask lots of questions. A dealer makes money on selling the extended warranty and financing through them or their banks. So knowing what rate you are approved for can help you if you want to finance through the dealership. Back to Chris, he explained all the coverages, what is strongly recommended, what you don't really need. Anything you didn't understand, he will answered or found out for you. He explains all the papers in a manner that is easy to understand. Over all, the hours of sales and service, the cafe, the competitive prices of sales and service, and the friendly staff makes this a great dealership. Came here for service on my car. The staff is very friendly and nice. However don't bother trying to call their phone because they won't pick up no matter how many times you call. Brought my car in for an oil change and didn't hear anything for about 2 hours, so I went to go check on it. When I got there they had not even started on my car, it had just been sitting there which is very frustrating. If you want somewhere quick this is not your place unfortunately. I was very disappointed with their Service Department. I had called and made an appointment to bring my 2013 CR-V in for an oil change. I received a text message asking me to confirm my oil change with Jesus, which I responded in the affirmative. I also had received a coupon for a discount. Upon arrival I was asked why I was there. I explained I had an appointment with Jesus, they said no such person worked there but they could do the job in 45 minutes to an hour. I handed the guy my coupon. I then explained that there was also something wrong with my hands free phone connection and he said yes they frequently had that complaint but they couldn't fix the problem. So what is the point if it doesn't work and can't be fixed? I also was having problems with my compass flashing to be calibrated, the re-set icon wouldn't even come up. An hour and a half later my car was "ready". They changed the oil but the coupon didn't take any amount off and the compass was still flashing. Our salesman was kind and not pushy but that's where the great experience stopped for us. The financial office was rude, cold and really didn't care about how they treated us. Honestly this place was lucky we wanted the car we did because it's the only reason we came there. Once we signed all the paperwork it was all downhill from there. They delivered the wrong color car but since the papers were signed they just said sorry and that's it. I now have the car I wanted...but it the color I didn't order. Within three months of owning this brand new car I realized something wasn't working right on the drivers side sliding back door so I brought it in to be looked at. I waited for two hours while they looked at the car. I finally said I have to leave to pick up my kids from school and daycare. They said sorry but reported they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Later I brought the car in for an oil change which I found out our warranty didn't cover. (Hudiburg Toyota cover our oils changes for two years when we bought our other car) so that was a fun $100+ surprise. Then I received a recall notice from the Honda manufacturer for my...you guessed it, drivers side back sliding door. So I brought the car back to get that fixed. They were not even going to give me a rental car (which hudiburg Toyota does even when I get my oil changed) but they quickly changed their mind when I listed my grievances and they realized my recall fix would take over three hours. I was quoted three and a half hours but then they called to say they needed to keep it overnight. In the same conversation the guy tells me he has his "best guy" working on it and then two minutes later "sorry it's going to be so long the mechanic I have working on it is new." So after that load of bull I arrive the next morning with both my kids with me, you know how patient a toddler can be when you need them to calmly wait for things, and I find out the guy responsible for my car has LOST MY KEYS! I had to wait nearly an hour before they found them along with my paperwork. Every time I've pulled up to the service center no one greets me. I end up having to go find someone to help get the process started. Every time I go to this location there is some form of buffoonery happening I finally got fed up and for my last oil change I went to eskridge Honda on I-240. I was greeted before I could pull all the way into the bay. I was taken care of with smiling, friendly employees. I was escorted to the waiting area instead of just being brushed off and left to figure it out on my own. I was in and out of there in a reasonable amount of time. I was spoken to with respect and truly taken care of. I'm 100% sure Fowler's makes up their own awards and presents them to themselves. One of the services they were trying to up sell me was a power steering flush. I called my husband to see if he wanted any of it done and he said it was a scam because my car was electric power steering and didn't have any power steering fluid that you could flush. Car Service: I love and miss this place! They always treated my car so nicely and really took the time to give it the inspection and tune up that it needed. Also customer surface is amazing, their really attentive to your worries, and any possible problems and assure you they will get it checked out. I went to a Honda center back at home in CA, and they never caught that I had fluid leaking from my car, but Fowler did. Their new location is so much more accessible and nicer to drive into, and I like how they do a quick rinse or wash with my car, it's a lot better than what I can do myself at the car wash. Also while I was there they provided a shuttle service back to my apartment, and picked me back up when my car was ready. I really do miss the customer service at this place, it was great! He said that if the stud was cross threaded then the stud would have broken. just because the stud didn't break and I went somewhere else to fix it he wouldn't reimburse me. read more

When I went to get a new car from them I had to sit there for 5 hours to get into financing to do paperwork. Then I was then strong armed into getting back end products like GAP and extended warranty by a sexist man who wouldn't even speak directly to me, but instead to my husband even though this was MY car and MY loan. Fast forward 2 years later I sell the car and try to cancel the GAP and warranty. First time I sent them the paperwork for it, they "lost" it(MARCH 2021) . Sent it back to them again and never heard anything back from them. I've been calling and spoke with everybody and they "will call me back" and yet haven't gotten a call back. It's now Mid-June and I have been calling 3-4 times a week and they NEVER call me back. read more
