Fast service considering the line. And lots of places to sit. Great latte--not bitter at all and I didn't get anything special. Loved their berry cheese danish. Not very sweet but so creamy and loved the berries.

I decided to give this place a shot since I arrived extra early. The spot can be easy to miss so make sure you are paying attention as you get closer! I saw a guy sitting outside with a coffee so that helped identify the cafe! This coffee shop must be a local favorite since the line never got shorter! There was also a boil water advisory when I stopped in so they were unable to make any espresso drinks at the time. I did order the cold brew and the veggie breakfast burrito which were both delicious! Staff were super friendly and remained calm during the surge of folks! I would love to stop by to try their espresso drinks next time! There is seating in the front and back but note that it's limited and does get super busy so keep that in mind! There are some ares where you can work from. It has a nice ambiance with exposed brick and plants that make it super cozy!

Was visiting from out of town and stopped in for a morning cup of coffee. Fourth Wall Coffee has that effortless New Orleans charm , cozy, a little artsy, very chill. It's the kind of place you can sit with a book, answer emails, or just stare out the window pretending you're in a film. Service was solid and easygoing. Now let's talk about the coffee. I ordered a regular latte with oat milk, honey, and cinnamon and as someone who genuinely loves coffee, I pay attention to flavor notes. This roast leans bold and assertive. It's not shy, not delicate, not watered down. It has a deeper, more robust profile with a slightly bitter edge that lingers in a good way. If you're used to lighter, fruit-forward, or super smooth mellow blends, this might taste strong to you. But if you appreciate a full-bodied cup with presence something that actually tastes like coffee -- you'll enjoy this. The oat milk softened it just enough, and the honey & cinnamon added warmth without overpowering the espresso's natural depth. It's confident coffee. And I liked it.

Very popular, quaint spot with specials and kind staff. We enjoyed sitting in the shaded and very green courtyard enjoying the shade. I ordered a specialty latte and my husband, the Cortado. The baked goods appeared very fresh and popular, as well. Overall, cute spot to pop in and get caffeinated.

Fourth Wall is truly one of the most beautiful coffee shops I've ever been to. Sadly it was my last stop in New Orleans so I couldn't go more than once. The space is large with ample seating inside and some seating outside. The decor is lovely, as are the friendly staff. They sell local merch as well which was a nice touch. Great coffee and drinks menu, along with bites and pastries. I had a cappuccino which was so good. Well balanced. I also ordered their veggie quiche, which I went back and got a second one to go of how good it was! Also ordered a scone which was tasty and paired well with my coffee. Definitely a place I will be returning to!

A great find for breakfast and coffee. There are a variety of options and they all taste delicious, We were able to try a seasonal coffee along with the golden latte. They also had great breakfast and pastry options. The burrito and its sauce was awesome. There was also a lot of seating indoor and outdoor with plenty of different options as well, from couches to tables. The coffee came out really fast and we did not have to wait.

Delicious veggie quiche and refreshing hibiscus iced tea. The coffee shop is spacious and there's a nice courtyard tucked in the back. Service was quick and there was a variety of pastries and drinks that I'd love to come back and try.

Fourth Wall is such a cute, cozy, and cultured coffee shop. The service was good and the Mocha Vanilla Latte with Oat Milk was so delicious! I would definitely visit again before I leave!

Latte was delicious, featured house made syrups & the baristas were incredible! Tons of seating both indoor and outside making it the perfect place to stay for a while and get some work done or catch up with a friend. Prices were comparable to what you'd find in most coffee shops nowadays.

Cool vibes. Makes me want to study. Super trendy spot. Hidden front door that leads into a very spacious coffee shop with outdoor nook.

Stopped by twice while I was visiting town. Coffee was great and the fact they offered it in a cup for there or to go was a nice touch. Food also looked good but I did not have the opportunity to try. Lots of places both inside and outside to sit. The second time I visited the person behind me ordering I recognized from the day before. If I lived close by I would love for this to be my regular coffee shop.

This place was a little hidden, but so glad we didn't give up and kept searching for it. I'll definitely be coming back here for the duration of my trip. The staff is super friendly, it's cool (temperature wise) and very roomy! Tons of places to sit. Exposed brick, art work, and green plants. It's a total vibe. The seasonal strawberry latte (maybe dreams or angel, I cannot remember the name for the life of me) is divine. Usually I get weary about strawberry drinks because they're either too sweet or too artificial, but the flavor on this is great. Slightly sweet but can still taste the espresso. I would highly recommend.

Mushroom Quiche

Great place that we stumbled across during a walk in New Orleans! The vibes of the coffee shop were great with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. The drink menu was very extensive but I ended up just getting an Iced Vanilla Latte which was pretty good. I also got the mushroom quiche which was delicious. Service was nice and our orders came out quickly!

Cafe Du Monde - Beignets with hot chocolate

And Cafe Du Monde is a quintessential must go place in the Crescent City! Even for locals, nothing beats a plate of fresh beignets covered in powdered sugar ashes down by a nice cup of cafe au lait made with strong chickpea laced coffee. Go for the beignets and stay for the people watching. Like the food court at the Mall of America's, you'll see every walk of life come to Cafe Du Monde. You might even see a local musician or politician here. The vibe and the beignets keep people coming back. Laissez les beignets rouller!

I had the chance to come back to the city last weekend, when a good friend from my Italy days was in town for a conference. I was able to meet her to explore the city for a day, and we of course had to make room for beignets and Cafe du Monde. We almost settled for one of the locations at an indoor mall, but we stuck out a 20-30 min walk from where we were to make it to the original at the French Quarter. Since it was just two of us, we were able to get seated pretty quickly even though there was an expected Saturday morning line. I am also glad my friend had cash because they STILL only accept cash for payment. No credit cards, which is wild at any US establishment nowadays. We also tried to only order one plate of beignets (come in a set of 3) and one coffee each but the server came back with two beignet plates and coffees. $20 with tax included! The beignets themselves were scrumptious, warm, and delicious ofcourse. So I suppose worth any inconvenience that we may have experienced. However, the tables are left incredibly messy. It is true that our server did wipe off our table before we sat down but it is embarrassing to see patrons create such a mess to begin with.

We went all in: shrimp and grits that were downright phenomenal (I'm still thinking about them), a goat cheese omelette that was so good it made me question all my past breakfast decisions, and pancakes with berries that tasted like they were made by someone who genuinely cares about your happiness. The coffee? Strong enough to fix your life. The service? Warm, attentive, and somehow psychic--they just knew when we needed refills or another mimosa (which, for the record, felt less like a drink and more like a lifestyle choice). Honestly, this place doesn't just serve breakfast--it gives you a reason to get out of bed. 10/10 would wake up early again... and I do not say that lightly.

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!
