Zoey comes home super happy and pooped! I have had many interactions with the owner and her staff members, they are beyond knowledgeable and happy to always provide advice (especially for a new dog mom, like myself.) Thank you to the Bark n Roll staff for always providing great customer service and an even better program, Zoey also says thank you for introducing her to her new friends!

They have terrible customer service. Every time you call the person answering the phone has zero…read moreanswers and says someone will call you back when they can, but then we never get a call back. They don't pay attention to the dogs well-being nearly enough, for example we have been leaving our puppy there and have told them that he is having diarrhea but every time we pick him up and ask if his poop was normal they says, "oh yeah, everything was fine" or "I don't know, I didn't work with him" and then when he gets home he continues to have diarrhea. They don't interact with their clients at all, at the end of the day they are just telling you what you need to hear to leave them alone. The only positive thing I can say is that our puppy comes home looking happy and he is tired from playing. Edit: 3 days after posting this review, instead of reaching out to me they called and tried to bully my fiancee into changing it deleting this review. Rather than addressing the issues she just denied any problems and ended up just making my fiancee upset.

Enrolling our rescue dog at Loyal Canines (in Peabody) was the best decision we ever made for our…read morepup. We were struggling with his leash reactivity and aggression towards other dogs. He also had a bad habit of jumping on people, high enough to bop them on the face. We hired an in-home trainer for 2 days, which was helpful with a few things but certainly not with the aggression and leash reactivity issues. We enrolled in the 3 week Bootcamp training session and recently completed it. Jay was AMAZING to work with. He's very calm and rational and ensured that any concerns that we had were addressed. We also know he treated our dog with care because when we went for our first follow up visit, Brewster was soooo excited to see Jay and gave him a lot of affection. Brewster does recall off leash and does not jump or bark excessively any more. He can walk right by dogs without freaking out. For just the few days we've had him back he's been the best companion we could want. Loyal Canines was recommended to us by a coworker who had his dog go through the 2 week Bootcamp training session and came back as a calmer, more confident, obedient dog. So I can attest to two success stories and could not recommend them more!

The reviews of Brenda and It's raining pets in general were outstanding and we decided to take the plunge into doggy day care with our two Corgi's. She asked all of the basic questions one would expect and even mentioned Bordetella shots needed to be up to date (something we never get because we never have our dogs in day care or dog parks but we got them the shots 50 days prior just to be prepared for such an emergency and it takes 30 days to really bolster their system pet our vet) The drop off and pick up was easy, the Corgis always seemed to be freely roaming around with the other pups and everyone was getting along well. there isn't enough good we can say about the generosity and hospitality of Brenda in particular but all of Salem in general. a full week of time and nothing but positivity from all!! Thanks again Brenda from The two Corgi and their appreciative treat dispensers!

Angela and her staff have been caring for my cats for about nine years now…read more I first got in touch with her when my cat, Gigi, developed kidney disease and needed subcutaneous fluids on a regular basis. As a former vet tech, Angela was perfectly suited for the task of pet-sitting my little girl and making sure she got her fluids. After Gigi passed away, we adopted two kittens through Angela's cat rescue. Six years later, Maggie and Lola are doing great, and Angela and her staff are still caring for them when we travel. I would never even consider anyone else - they're pretty high-maintenance in some ways (spoiled rotten!), but we know they're being cared for when we're not there. I don't know what we'd do without her. Obviously, we have not been able to travel recently, but are hoping to do so later this year. I've kept in touch with Angela, and I know she's been an absolute Godsend to a lot of animals during this time, using her love and knowledge to place dozens of cats and kittens, as well as continuing to offer dog walking and pet sitting services.

I knew she was the dog walker for me when we met for the first time she dropped to her knees and loved on my dogs. I have had Angela, Ashley, Paul or Mark, in my house, walking my dogs and foster dogs at least 3 times a week sometimes more depending on how many fosters I have. Every time, I get a note about how the walk went which includes who my dogs hung with that day, any irregularities they may have noticed and of course the pee/poop report. I've also had some of my dogs have attend her day care program. When I have to travel I can leave my dogs with Angela confident in the knowledge that they will be well cared for in my absence. We've experienced all the highs and lows of dog ownership together over the years and there certainly have been times when Leach Love went above and beyond to help me care for my dogs such as bringing Gypsy to the vet and meeting me there (if they hadn't then it would have been at least 1.5 hours before I could have gotten home from work then getting her to the vet). Critical time was saved. Or the time Angela because of her medical experience, helped me navigate a medical issue with Ringo. I highly recommend Angela and her team at Leash Love because they care for my pets the way I do, with love, care, compassion and leadership.

Personal Experience with Pet Pals…read more A few years ago, I was walking some dogs at the Fells near the Winford Way entrance in Medford. While we were there, Dave -- the owner of Pet Pals -- approached me. He seemed upset that I was walking in that area, saying I "didn't understand" the rules and that it was his designated spot to walk dogs, implying that no one else was allowed there. I reminded him that it's public land and open to everyone. At that point, he became physically aggressive and pushed me twice -- the second time hard enough that I lost control of my dogs' leashes. He then ran toward my dogs and appeared to try to scatter them, so they'd run off. I called the police, who arrived, spoke with both of us, and said something along the lines of, "There are three sides to every story." I decided not to pursue it further at the time and just moved on. I recently came across Pet Pals again, and I felt people should have the full picture before deciding whether to use this company. This is my personal experience, shared in good faith so others can make their own decisions. Hopefully, others have had better luck with Dave, the owner of Pet Pals -- formerly based in Winchester and now operating out of Woburn, as far as I know.

if you need a daycare, look no further because this is the best one…read more I was leaving on a two week vacation and, very last minute, the person who was watching my one-year-old puppy (Lexapro, Lexi for short) bailed on me. I was absolutely frantic trying to find a daycare for her. I sent a message to mcgrupps, and got an almost immediate response from the owner, Megan. She walked me through the steps of what I would need to do in order to board my pup and got me in very quickly to do an assessment. My dog is very anxious and Megan and the staff knew exactly how to handle her. They answered all of my questions and helped me feel at ease about leaving my dog for the first time. While I was away, the wonderful staff posted pictures of my dog every day on Instagram so that I could see what she was up to, which made me feel so much more at ease. I even called for an update a couple of times (crazy dog mom, i know) and the staff were so kind and took her time to talk to me about my girl. When I came to pick her up, she was bathed and ready to go. Being at the daycare, I can see that Lexi has opened up and made tons of friends. She didn't even need her anxiety medication because of how well she was taken care of. I couldn't be more grateful and I am so excited to have a reliable daycare to send Lexi to whenever I need it. thank you mcgrupps!!!!
