I have been a customer since around 2010. I can promise you, if you want top quality care with people who are invested into your well being, Four corners is the perfect place to go. Due to unfortunate events, I have had to get several of my teeth replaced with implants. For me, the procedures feel really grueling and I'm super anxiety ridden the whole time. Through all the appointments, the Doc is always right there making small talk and telling jokes to ease my mood. He's always checking in and making sure I'm completely comfortable. I have tried other dental clinics and the native hospital, I've always come back simply because they make me feel comfortable, safe, and welcomed here. I've always hated the dentist and having someone dig around in my mouth. They have gone above and beyond in so many ways to ease those anxieties. Thank you Sam for your kindness and smiles every time I walk in or call. Thanks Dr. Higgins and Dr. Poland for helping me through these procedures, and being so transparent and open about every option. I got a molar tooth implant from them in 2019. At the time, they told me it was a lifetime warranty on the tooth. Fastforward to today, and the tooth they implanted in my mouth is lose. I go to them for a consultation to see what happened and what need to be done to fix it, and even after looking at the xray, he pulls it out of my mouth with NO pain relief, and says oops. I was very uncomfortable and in obvious pain as he was pulling at the tooth doing his "consultation", only for him to then say, after the tooth is already out, that they only have a 1 year warranty on implants. He said that it was most likely my bite had changed, but then in a phone call later said it was because the bone had started to deteriorate around the implant they had put in. So not only did he lie to me about the warranty in 2019, but he pulled out the implant without my authorization and without pain relief of any kind when I was in obvious pain, and in complete disregard of the xray he had just taken and looked at. On another note, I had come to them in 2020 for a tooth that was giving me pain that was right next to the implant. They said it was rotten and falling apart, so they ground down the tooth and put filling in, with a plan to put a cap on after I gave birth (I was 6 months pregnant at the time). I paid them at the time for everything they had done. Over a year later, they called me asking for more money, saying I didn't pay it all in full. When I told them it was because they didn't finish putting the cap on, they said that was not the case, and I just hadn't paid in full. This is the worst most unprofessional dental service on the planet! Right from the get-go my elderly husband had the worst experiences of poor dentistry just trying to get ONE tooth implant which took almost 1 year to complete! -the numbing medication to be taken at home prior to treatment was too strong making it impossible for him to drive to the appointment. -a rude receptionist -the bone was damaged when the dentist extracted the roots. ongoing appointments were not kept by the dentist for months to address the issue. -when the first implant finally arrived it did not fit. The denist prodded for almost 2 hours to try to push trhe implant into place until finally conceding defeat. The implant sent back to lab for a rework. -When it finally arrived back the dentist had the nurses aid insert the temporary cap, the green screw holding the cap fell out in his mouth overnight which he found when he woke up. -a lump appeared on the gums following the procedure but when quering this with the dentist he brushed it off saying it was probably some kind of nerve damage - the lump is still on the gum after 3 months! -they shoved the bill under his nose to sign while he was sedated and on the dentist chair! -when my husband asked for the record of his treatment he was told that this was no longer available because a receptionist had absconded with everything??? As a result, we definitely do NOT recommending this dentistry to anyone who expects professional competent work to be done on their teeth! read more

About 8 months ago, a few weeks prior to our visit, we planned with our orthodontist and the dentist Dr. Hyer at Four Corners Dental Group a treatment plan for our daughter. When we arrived at the appointment to have my daughter's wisdom teeth removed and fillings filled, my daughter and wife were asked to come to the back. Initially the first I.V. insertion failed, and my daughter grew teary, my wife was asked to leave and gather prescriptions -while they tried again. Instead of leaving, my wife waited in the lobby while I went to get the prescriptions in case there were any complications. We also had a few questions for the dentist in regard to the prescriptions when he came out and to see my daughter when she woke. While I was collecting the meds from two different pharmacies, there was no communication with my wife from the staff. A man dressed in street clothes walked out from the back pushing my daughter in a wheel chair. My daughter, for lack of better words was out of it, drooping over the arms of the wheelchair. I introduced myself to the man who shared he was an off duty assistant. I asked if there were any complications and shared it looked like it was to early to leave - she couldn't hold her head up and would barely respond to me. He replied, he didn't know and advised I needed to talk with the dentist for information. He apologized for being in street clothes and any confusion. Another assistant came from the back, handed my wife some gauze and shared some verbal directions with her in regard to replacing the gauze in her mouth- and then started her car. My wife was given a bill that was less than expected. She asked why it was less, and was answered with scattered confusion among the staff. My wife discovered the reason for the lesser bill was because only part of the work had been completed. The staff tried to persuade my wife she was mistaken about what was supposed to occur. My wife requested she speak to the dentist or main assistant that did the work to learn why there was a change in the treatment plan. The staff shared the dentist and the main assistant had already left for the night. Finally, a staff member did look at the treatment plan, and verified part of the work described in the treatment plan had been completed -the fillings were supposed to be completed. They also shared my daughter had thrown up during the surgery. My wife asked how we could speak with the dentist right away. She was told a note would be sent to him requesting answers about the meds and to help clarify what had occurred while she was under. Thankfully, Dr. Hyatt returned our call 5 hours after she was discharged to us. He was willing to clarify a few questions, speaking with us for a bit more than 10 minutes. Our focus was on our daughters pain and meds, and neither of us discussed what had interrupted the treatment plan we had agreed on or why it wasn't carried out. Dr. Hyer didn't bring it up either, despite a note being left for him. Finally, the billing was difficult as well. Despite planning ahead, and providing two forms of dental insurance and payment in hand, the office took nearly 8 months to correctly submit the billing and necessary paperwork to the insurance companies. On more than one occasion they sent an itemized bill to my underage daughter. Ultimately, we needed to correspond with them using certified mail. In summary, the treatment plan we made with the Four Corners Dental Group and my daughters orthodontist together for some reason wasn't followed and there was no follow up made by the Four Corners Dental Group to correct their error or to clarify or provide answers or to explain anything for that matter. Our requests for information in regard to the prescriptions weren't answered until five and a half hours after my daughter was discharged, and finally my daughter was discharged to us without any information in regard to what meds she had been given during the surgery, if there had been any complications during the surgery, or what to expect or look for while she continued to recover from anesthesia. And their billing department made the process of final payment last nearly eight months. My opinion is to consider other dental facilities and options before deciding on the Four Corners Dental Care LLC as your first choice. read more

They deserve 0 stars. Watch out they put you with Dentists that you are not in network with. They also try to ask you if your teeth hurt and if you say yes they make you sign a paper where you agreed to be charged for tooth job. Always say no if the pain isn't bad they just want an excuse to make money. The billing person is rude and everyone else is inexperienced. They are trained scammers. Make sure to check who you are in link with because they will put you with one out of network if you don't keep them on check. Also don't fall for the teeth cleansing because sometimes they don't ask you but they clean your teeth and then they charge you. Say no to any unnecessary charges ALWAYS! read more

I've been going to this dental practice for 3 years now and I have always received good service. The staff are always very nice and easy to work with. Every time I get a cleaning, I walk out of the office with a smile because my mouth never feels sore. It's the best cleaning experience I've ever had. Both dentists are very knowledgeable and experienced. I like it because they never try to sell you services that you don't need. They go out of their way to assist. I'm a fan and am staying a fan. I just recently moved to Anchorage from California and I was really worried about finding a new dentist here because I loved my dentist back in California but I have been to plenty of bad ones who rush you through and I have very sensitive teeth. I found this office by recommendation of a friend and I am so happy I did. I hadn't had a check up for awhile and I had a feeling I might have a cavity. When I called I didn't have to wait to long to get an appointment, I was actually able to go in on my lunch break which was so nice I didn't have to take time off. The office was clean and nice looking. I have to say that Dr. Toone was even better than my last dentist who i loved. He was professional and clean looking and really took his time explaining what concerns he had about my cavities. He wasn't rushing from one room to the next or trying to sell me anything. And when he gave me the shots, I didn't feel anything! I don't know how he did it! But I am never leaving this office. read more
