This is a food market. It's an open nice, neat and clean space to try different meals. This time we tried the arepas and the arepa bowl. I had the bowl - it had rice, pico ,pulled pork and an avocado sauce with garlic I believe. It was so good. The meal was light and flavors really paired so well together and were creamy. The best part was it was gluten free! I asked them employee questions before I ordered and he explained everything in a reassured me that everything in the bowl was gluten free. He was very nice and the food came out super quick. I'm very impressed. I also tried the yucca fries. They come with a sauce and I deff recommend it. It's like a potato but softer. read more

5 stars all the way. The arepas were super yummy and the counter staff very friendly and helpful. I got the 2 arepa order and chose one vegan and one 4 queso. They were filled quite well. My favorite was the vegan even thoigh I love cheese. It had black beans and avocado in a nice corn shell. Loved everything about it. It was priced very reasonable also. This is a small pop-up shop that completely blew my mind. This was my first time trying Venezuelan food and I was amazed!! I've had yucca and theirs was good and fresh. There was only one guy cooking and he did great! Both the chicken and beef arepas were juicy and flavorful. The dough was crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. First of all this location is inside the Make Ready Market so there's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the chicken bowl with a side of fried plantains. The market wasn't too busy so I think everything is made to order since I waited a little over 16 minutes for my food, but it was definitely worth the wait. The bowl was packed! The chicken was flavorful the veggies were fresh, and the plantains were freshly fried and perfectly crispy. The food was amazing. The fries come with cheese and avocado cream. I will say that I expected the cheese to be melted, but it was still good. The serving size is good enough that you can share or you can have as a meal. My friend got a bowl and it looked delicious. You order at the counter and then they will text you when your order is ready. Everyone we encountered was friendly. Parking is street parking. You can order 2 arepas for $12.99 and add a side of yucca fries for $5.99. We got the four brothers arepas and Pabellon with sweet plantains and yucca fries. I was a little disappointed that we paid $5.99 for 4 small (around 4 inch size) pieces of yucca fries. They were really delicious though! The arepas were yummy. The size of the arepas are slightly larger than your typical burger sliders. I loved the crispy corn flavor of the arepas. The meat filling was juicy! They also had really unique sauces. The menu is straightforward. Our order took 10 minutes to come out. This restaurant is located in a dining hall that includes a handful of other restaurants (including a dessert gelato place)! There is corn hole set up outside of the dining hall. Parking is free for 1 hour at the parking lot across the street of the restaurants. read more

I dropped in for a quick lunch. The experience was mixed. First, the staff member taking the order could not speak English, and it made for a difficult time as I had questions he could not answer. Of all the places in the Make Ready Market, I loved this place the most! It was about $17 for three arepas. The guys in the front were nice and told us we could mix and match the arepas! We got the four bros, pabellon, and shredded pork. I liked the Four Brothers and the Pabellon the best! The sauces they had with it and the meat was just the perfect combo! I think I liked them the most because of the plantains. The sweet plantains with each of the arepas made a significant difference in the flavor! Overall such a nice vibe and will get you so full! Located in the Make Ready Market next to Pescado & Eet. Parking is free for the first hour. Street parking from 8th& Alamo all the way to the market. Arrived Friday at 8pm to order, closes at 10. Cashier was great. It's a decent size market that wasnt too crowded with plenty of seating on a Friday night during fiesta! I was excited to try a new food spot for my solo dinner/reading time! I checked the ig of all the restaurants and chose this Venezuelan restaurant. The food looks delicious! It was quick to come out! I didn't get much of a flavor profile in my opinion. There wasn't spice or flavor besides cheese and avocado tbh. The arepa had a texture, crispy bite but fluffy chew. It had a few sauces (doesn't say what kind on the menu board) mixed in with the cheese that didn't offer variety or anything to boost or enhance the food. The bowl was pretty standard with the only new thing for me being the sweet plantains. Plantains we a potato like texture but again no real flavor. The beans, rice, avocado, pick and sauces didn't expand any flavoring. It was all base taste of the ingredients with nothing to heighten the dish. I never had Venezuelan food and I couldn't tell you at all what it taste like. Spicy? Nope. Savory? I dont know. Sweet? Nah. Basic. Sadly yes. If you're a vegetarian, you won't find much flavor here. Maybe if I got a bowl with meat I would have seen more taste but I mean I did have like four different sauces and none made a flavor appearance. Passion fruit juice was delicious. Best part of my meal, I ordered another while I ate some fries from another place and read my book! Maybe i caught them on an off night considering all other reviews.
