All of the teachers and administrators know our kids names and truly care about helping all of the children flourish. They receive the best care and education available by a steadfast and dedicated staff. There are additional resources to help learning outcomes and monthly meetings available that help support parents and parenting skills. Other centers pale in comparison to Learning Together. They meet and exceed standards of care. They are also accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) where less than 6% of childcare centers in the US carry that standard. There is another unsavory review on here and I have not had any similar experiences. The potty training comment is not in the context of the child. I have two and the first was ready to train right away and the second wasn't and has had trainings when he was ready. That speaks volumes to the staff being aware that different children will take on different skills when ready. My second child just was not ready when we initially discussed potty training and the Learning Together staff were able to start that training once he was. This is a feather in their cap for being responsive to the child.

My child would come home with a rash because they didn't wipe well at all. I had better hopes for this place and was really let down.

The school occupies the downstairs (plus backyard playground), and inside the school it looks in every way like a traditional preschool. But fortunately, there's none of the high turnover of staff or even the children that you find in most daycares or full-day preschools. HMCS was a 4 star at that time and I was still more impressed them than the other schools, including the ones with 5 star ratings. HMCS is now rated as a 5 star. Staff are always on their personal phones and the ratios that they claim to have are not upheld. We have had our child enrolled from 6 months to 2 and have seen almost twice the ratio that they claim to have. We have also heard screaming at children on a daily basis from teachers of the older kids (3+). If you bring any of this up you are given excuse or they blame the staff that is under them. as a parent and a teacher here in Wake county I would beg you to stay away!
