They did an excellent job building and filling out planters for us, and Sam had some very helpful suggestions about what plants to use. Speno's is very responsive to our emails, and would highly recommend them. read more

Speno's did a great job for us of picking up chalet pea gravel in their truck and spreading it on our back walkway and patio. They were on time and worked hard all at a fair price. The men who did the work were also friendly and courteous. I highly recommend them! read more

Communication is good, however, it's very pricey. Always ask about serviceability as well as long term warranty satisfaction.

Wrote a review back in November of '22. I mentioned that we were recent transplants from Southern California and I Sam and his crew were helping me with the rather large transition to southern yard care. Well, here we are in July '24 and Spenos has been a terrific constant companion. Last month I filled in a rather large open area with new perennials. Sam made the recommendations of what to plant and the landscaping crew did a great job executing the plan. Every plant seems healthy and prosperous. The heat and humidity has taken a toll on my cool season grass so I'm looking forward to a fall aeration and reseeding! I know they will be great. if you need a reliable, professional service you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't contact Speno's read more

I've really enjoyed working with Sam and Speno's Lawn Care. I found them through Yelp's request a quote and am so glad I did. First off, Sam does not mess around when it comes to responding to requests. So often service providers just don't get back to you. Sam quickly got back to me and we set up a time for him to come out for a quote. Since that original project he's already come out for an expansion project as well. We weren't happy with where some of the trees were planted, when I reached out to Sam he responded right away and came out within a few days to move the trees. Unfortunately bunnies ate away at some of our plantings, I reached out to Sam again and he was able to fit me back onto the schedule to come out again for us to purchase replacements. Sam is very clear about what everything will cost and is willinging to work with you to make adjustments if the quote comes in too high. Overall we enjoy working with Sam and would 100% recommend Speno's Lawn Care. read more

Not once but twice HE set a date and time to come give me an estimate on my yard and both times he was a no show and didn't even have the decency to communicate with me that he wasn't going to be able to make it like my time isn't valuable to him at all. Extremely unprofessional!! read more

I did not land up using Speno's Lawn Service. They were responsive, respectful, but in the end they told me that my property was outside of their area of operations. Wish they hadn't led me on, but I've moved on. Thjank you for the opportunity to give you my input(s). Dick Murray read more

Sam is fantastic! He respond quickly and scheduled the work in short order. Great communication and impeccable work! I highly recommend hiring them. You cannot go wrong! read more

We hired Speno's to do a big job: trim all of our schrubs, remove some bushes, put down mulch, trim back many trees that were brushing our roof and haul all of the waste away. What happened was, I contacted Speno's through their website and they promptly responded to my request. They visited my place to size up the job and gave me a reasonable quote. A couple of weeks later, the crew showed up right on time and did a really great job. I will be hiring them again and, in fact, I already did. Word to the wise: since Speno's does good work, they are busy. Make sure you call well in advance of when you want the work done so you can get on their schedule. read more

It was a pleasure working with Sam and his crew. He is very knowledgeable and listens to his clients needs and executes the project effectively and in a timely manner. I will be looking forward to hiring him again for my future projects. read more

We had every other week service this year and the lawn was cut consistently each time, edging was clean and neat, and they always cleaned up after. Great communication around pricing and responsive to all concerns and questions. I recommend them highly for lawn service. read more

I'm working with Sam to take my front walk from an accident waiting to happen to an elegant path. Meanwhile my lawn was a mess and I couldn't find a regular lawn service. Sam rescued me from the neighborhood lawn police by doing a 1 time mow. His team is respectful, friendly and so efficient. Hire them if you can. read more

I will start by saying that I wish I had before and after pictures, but unfortunately I don't. I found Speno's through Yelp. We had a BIG yard project. Very overgrown and needed a good clean up. This company was quick to respond to my messages, and were very professional while talking. They came to the house and gave us an estimate, we never felt obligated to use them once the estimate was given. Since the estimate seemed reasonable we scheduled. We booked a few weeks out since it was a large project. We kept in communication about coming to the house as well. On the day of clean up, the workers were very professional and got the job done quick. We plan to use Speno's as our new yard maintenance company. We are very pleased with their work! read more

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Sam was professional, knowledgable and responsive. He made excellent suggestions for plantings and captured my vision perfectly. The landscapers arrived on time and worked hard to complete the job. They were friendly, professional and neat. A great experience. I would highly recommend. read more

Sam was quick to respond to my inquiry for yard maintenance support and fit our fall cleanup into his busy schedule a week later. Our yard was extremely overgrown and riddled with weeds, leaves and debris. Sam's crew followed the plan we'd agreed upon and got the job done. They paid attention to detail, asked for feedback and approval as they worked and allowed themselves the time necessary to thoroughly complete the tasks. They may not be the most affordable outfit, but they're work is worth the expense. read more

We were in need of simple lawn care. Our grass cut and weeded. But we have recieved exceptional results for such simple work. Spenos really is professional, efficient, and neat. All our grass is cut evenly and all weeds are perfectly trimmed off. We are interested in working more with them after seeing what a great job they do just cutting our lawn! read more

Guess they don't need the work right now. 10 days later from original request for a quote and still nothing. I am surprised, figured the other similar review was a "one off" but nope! Have other quotes lined up in case this guy flakes. Poor customer service. Response: The facts remain. You text me early morning SIX days later saying "on my way." I'm not sure why you would think that would be okay to do without confirming my availability a week later!? Again, when I asked to actually schedule a date and time, another week goes by with no response. Word of mouth travels fast and be grateful you're "busy" now especially without considerations to potential customers. read more

Reach out to Sam, it takes just a few minutes to get a reply and he'll be honest and professional. After helping me with my sod, Sam is going to be my go-to for any future lawn care and landscaping needs. Our new build house had sod laid down, but it was laid on top of packed clay, straight from construction to sod. Our lawn had no drainage, no soil, and our grass was dead after just a few months. I reached out to Sam on Yelp and received a reply within 10 minutes! He came out that week to do a walk-around of our property and get me an estimate. Within a week, he and his team were in my yard, ripping up the old sod (which wasn't hard, there were no roots). They laid down a new layer of rich compost and put new sod on top. With his team already here, I asked them to re-mulch and it was a cinch! From the day I reached out to him to project completion was less than two weeks! In addition to helping me with my sod, Sam was honest and flexible. After doing a walk-around, he let me know that my backyard could probably be saved with some aerating and fertilizing. No need to charge for unnecessary re-sod. Furthermore, Sam and his team were careful with our underground internet cable (which was a priority for me, it's tough getting Spectrum back out to replace cable), worked around it, then reburied under my new sod and mulch. I thoroughly recommend Sam. He was professional, polite, honest, and thorough. read more

I've had Speno's do two projects for me. They were professional and delivered exactly what we agreed on. I highly recommend them

Has not contacted me or set up any appointments. Very sketchy and only will text message. Does not seem professional.

They did a great job helping get our property ready to sell - removing old garden beds, laying down mulch, cleaning up the 'forest' in the back corner of the property, and providing bi-weekly mowing. Good value and I appreciated the in-person estimate. read more

Fescue sod installed in front and backyard. Great job start to finish! Sam quickly provided a competitive price estimate. During the pre-work walk thru he described everything they were going to do and answered all my questions in just the right amount of detail. Crew showed up right on time and went to work. Stripped off the weed layer dirt, removed a few roots. and hauled it all away. Level graded all the dips and bumps and prepped with a layer of conditioned soil. Extra care getting the edges right -- it's 90% curved edges. Finished lawn looks amazing. Cleaned up everything nicely. Efficient and professional. Sam kept in touch during the whole process. Would hire again and would recommend to others. read more

We just had the space in front of our townhome completely redone with Sam and his team. They were quick and it looked fantastic afterward. His recommendations for design were just what we wanted and it came out great. Despite the fact that during the process a waterline was hit, causing a leak, we had it independently repaired and Sam quickly reimbursed our cost. Things happen, and it's apparent that Sam cares about his customers and maintains exceptional business integrity. read more

Again, they have done an amazing job with my mother's garden beds: trim shrubs, put down mulch, and cleanup. I would recommend them!

Sam was quick to respond and setup a consultation. The yard cleanup work was done thoroughly and in a timely manner.

We have used Speno's Lawn Care for many years. They sodded our front lawn three years ago and it has always looked beautiful. I waited a year before writing this review to see if the pavers they installed would hold up and the work is good! I took off 1 star because I asked for a tiny bit of extra work afterwards (paid of course) but I think the job was too small for them to come out do cut and put in 2 more pavers so they kept putting off my requests before I gave up. Also, this is more my fault than theirs, but I would recommend being very specific about the work you want completed. I asked for the pavers to be paved to a certain point and they did not install pavers completely flush to the end of my fence, i.e. they paved as close to the fence as they could with full pavers but did not cut any pavers to make the walkway flush. The work they originally performed was good. read more

These guys crushed it! Responded right away on Yelp. Showed up on time for the bid and work. Communication the whole time for a difficult brush and straw job for a big yard. Price was competitive.
