Everyone there KNOWS your child which is so important. This is one of the most important decisions you make as a parent and I can go to work each day without worrying about her care. Not only is she having fun but is learning so much and I feel her time at KB is really going to prepare her for elementary school. And as an only child, the socialization she is getting is key. They do an excellent job of educating while having fun!

We can certainly attest that the director, Ms. Dee, is incredibly hardworking and kind and she always put a great effort towards running a tight ship. We received an email from the owner saying that Goddard was cited for running over ratios (look up reports for any preschool on https://ncchildcare.ncdhhs.gov/childcaresearch ). When we replied expressing our discomfort with how the situation was handled, she suggested that we move on since we no longer trust her. It totally blind sighted us because we had previously had a positive relationship. It felt like we were just another number and she's going to move on to the next name in her wait list. We are happy this happened because it gave us an opportunity to compare with other centers. We didn't like that kids were given iPads at Goddard and were happy to find that is not the case elsewhere. Several centers provided meals (Goddard does not) and had more opportunities for water play and sports exposure (soccer lessons, basketball lessons, basketball court, splash pad area). We also weren't thrilled that lessons were shown at Goddard on a small computer screen with kids gathered around. There are plenty of happy parents at Goddard. We were pleased with Goddard at first and have met wonderful teachers. We didn't appreciate how the owner treated us and are happy to have found alternatives that a better fit for our needs.

She is often the first to be greeting families each day at the door and does SO much we could never even imagine behind the scenes too. Our child often comments about Debi and her involvement in their school day - I'm amazed by this. Additionally, all the teachers and staff here are extremely well qualified, understanding (they are all parents too), warm and truly enjoy being with kids. Our child entered preK for the first time in January and within weeks (if not days) had learned so much. She went from no school experience to confident on her way to learning all the expected preK skills and more! She was writing her name, making and identifying her letters, counting and identifying her numbers, and so much more. They made school so fun with tons of meaningful and themed art projects, creative play, experiments and lots more. They had opened an extra afternoon class and we got lucky to be able to join mid year. We were also lucky enough to have a fabulous teacher, Cynthia, with decades of experience... she made our child's first learning experience one that every parent dreams. Our expectations were completely surpassed. I love that they are so flexible with the number of days you attend as well. I wasn't ready to send my child more than 2 days to start (even though she was begging to go each day and couldn't stop talking about her amazing new school!) Within less than a day, the director Debi, every teacher, and all the staff knew my child's name and welcomed her with full hearts. Without a doubt and with great enthusiasm, would highly recommend this school to everyone.

The faculty is clean, has true Montessori learning tools, and highly educated and certified teachers. The preschool's administration is attentive to the teachers and family's needs, creating harmonious relationships. Our daughter is exceeding in all areas of her development, reading and journaling at 5 years old. WFM's curriculum and faculty have are absolutely amazing. With a recent change in directors there was a high turn over in teachers without notice. Giving 2 stars because there were some teachers we liked, and then they would leave to go to other centers. There was even a period through the summer where the Pre-K classroom has no AC for almost 2 weeks, and the temperature was sometimes over 75 degrees. The staff had no ETA on would it would be fixed. If your child has any special needs, the are centers in the area that cost more, but will accommodate. This center explicitly told us they were not "equipped" to deal with any special needs and that it was not a good fit. I agreed, it was not a good fit. We are now at Kids R Kids and are very happy.

I can count on one hand how many times she spoke to us in the approx 1.5 years we attended. There was one particular instance where I felt the school cared more about themselves than my child. My daughter was in the Director's office with her teacher when she fell off a chair (I still don't know the truth about what actually happened) but that wasn't my biggest concern because she was okay. The issue was that the write up by the Director was initially one scribbled sentence I could barely read. I was angered and offended all at once. I never saw the Director so I passed on a message to have the incident report re written. Long story short, I had to send it back two more times before I received a copy that was the "truth" of my daughters fall. Now that my kids are no longer there, I am sharing this message to show that there is a lack of honesty and respect at Morrisville Creative Schools. I can attest to the other comment about the temperature in the one year old classroom because there were several days where the room was muggy and warm during drop off. There was ONE teacher that kept us at MCS who is headed out. She was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!! My 3 year old was sounding out words and felt confident about reading. She incorporated "show and tell" so that the kids would be comfortable speaking in front of an audience. I can't speak enough about her! The turn over rate for kids and staff is increasing and I have no doubt that management plays a part in this. There needs to be some kind of training to help this school. Lastly, the cameras are a great asset. However, the system didn't work for us when we had a concern. We sat in the office with the Director for 1.5hrs for NOTHING because the records were not accurate and the cameras will only pick up 7 day's worth of footage (which includes weekends). I asked the owner to increase the amount of time of retrieval but I was not made aware that it was actually done. Good luck with this one!
