I was given a referral here by my primary dentist for a root canal. The nerves in the tooth had curved and would require special flexible tools. Dr. Martinez performed the root canal. She kept me informed through the process, it was pain free! I read reviews on this place and I am happy to say they lived up to the reviews I read. Pain free root canals should be there slogan. I love this place. Everyone who works there is so sweet and kind. The surgery was very quick and easy, and although the healing process has been very long and uncomfortable for me, they never get annoyed with me calling them all the time asking questions and having them check if everything is healing properly. I am a patient of Dr.Lees and overall my experience has been easy, caring, and so far so good. I recently had to get a procedure done and so far I feel fine. (Currently recovering) Dr.Lee is very patient, kind, and calm. When you are getting certain things done it's nice to have a compassionate Dr. I really have enjoyed working with the staff such as Lucy in billing & everyone else has been very nice. NEW PATIENT BEWARE! Got an appt. Told $122 for a evaluation. Results, needed deep cleaning. Appt. Mgr says since I had a complete evaluation, cost $ 230. I guess $122 is for an incomplete evaluation. Wow ! What genius thought of that money grabber. Their cost per quadrant was almost $500 plus $75 to show me how to properly brush my teeth. They are gauging people for as much as they can. Their was another charge but total was $2400 RUN ! Many other good places for a lot less from 321 to 200 per quadrant. read more

Dr. Lim was fabulous, wonderful, nice and incredibly sweet. I adored the way she treated me if I could do it over it will always be with her. I just didn't like the way they go about the situation with the money. (I get it they need to make their money but because I didn't have the money on the exact day of my appointment... they were extremely rude about it. I was told by Lucy 'I told you over the phone how much you needed to pay us but you probably didn't hear me correctly because you were in pain') in a very rude tone. It was very condescending and rude. Even after I went over with her about how to go about it with my payments and we agreed on a final payment I heard the assistant say 'so are we going through with this or not? In other word 'did she pay or not' And she quickly said 'yes :D' after I gave my official payment method. It was just so rude and unnecessary. This isn't my first time at a dentist office dealing with this. They always have a hungry shark asking for money lol. It is what it is. I just wish they had a better way of going about it. I don't need someone attacking me because I don't have the money at that very moment. And just taking any chance whatsoever to be rude and disrespectful. read more

If you have dental insurance, such as Delta Dental...be aware that this dental specialist is a non-participating provider and considered out of network. We were not given the courtesy of this knowledge by our current primary dentist before being referred to this office for a limited oral evaluation. Know in advance your plan benefits for the procedure, get a pre-treatment estimate and if the office you are referred to is within your approved provider network that covers these procedures. When we showed them our insurance before sitting in their examination chair, they did not give us the courtesy of letting us know that they were out of our network and the charges would be based on their going rate. Their going rate was almost five times what our plan covered as in-network. Check first before paying for any services (x-ray, consultation, etc.) and have them bill the insurance company, so you get a determination with the amount you pay from the insurance company. We were charged three times the rate covered by our plan (in-network) for the limited oral evaluation - including the x-ray which would have been covered (no charge) - and the treatment coordinator told us that the visit would more than likely be covered, which ended up not being the case. We also recommend you ask them for the cost before you get x-rays or any additional services at your visit. read more

Dr. Partin and the entire staff were awesome. I had an unusually large tooth abscess and was referred by my primary dentist. They got me an appointment right away. At my appointment time they took me in right on time. I then had a CT, exam, and root canal and was done in less than 2 hours. I used to trust this place. Years ago, I started going to Dr. Morishita and his staff every 8 months for periodontal cleanings. I would alternate between my dentist and Morishita, seeing one of them every 4 months. They had a very personal touch, and I felt very comfortable there. Dr. Morishita has recently left his practice and it's now become Foundation Dental Specialists with a whole new staff. At my last cleaning, they recommended I have a deeper cleaning on one area of my gums and one tooth in particular, and they also suggested I see them every 3 months. That's when my radar went off- I took very good care of my teeth and I felt this was overkill. However, I did go in for the deeper cleaning and at the follow-up appointment they said they saw an issue with that specific tooth. They took more X-rays (which they said insurance didn't cover!) and then brought in their own endodontist who said I needed at least a root canal, but highly recommended an implant. They even said they could extract the tooth right then. I was feeling pressured into having an invasive permanent procedure, but luckily I chose to go to my regular dentist to get a temporary tooth made to cover the hole until my implant was ready. I told my dentist the whole story and after examining me, he didn't think I needed a root canal, let alone an implant! But he sent me to my regular endodontist for another opinion, who took an x-ray (which insurance covered) and agreed with my dentist- I didn't need either. I don't know what's going on at Foundation Dental Specialists, but with them pressuring me to see them more often and recommending an unnecessary extraction and implant, I get the sense that they care more about the money than the patients. I just completed my dental implant treatment at Foundation Dental Specialists and had a great experience. Dr. Weightman and her staff were complete professionals through each appointment. The vibe of the office was friendly and efficient -- I was in and out of my procedure quickly and felt confident in the work that was completed. Dr. Weightman gives verbal and tactile (gently points with her instruments) warnings before everything that she does during the procedure, which I really appreciate in a dentist since you generally can't see what's going on. Dr. Weightman also checked in on the evening of my procedure to make sure things were looking good. My implant healed with no complications and within the timeframe provided. I am overall super happy with the expertise and kindness provided by this office and would recommend them to anyone in need of an implant. read more
