I saw post on Instagram about Fotolab that caught my eye. I told myself next time I go to houston.I'm gonna check them out. It was super easy to book. I was actually able to find a spot that day that I booked.. i came in a few minutes early and they was actually able to let me start taking photos early. The staff was super helpful by helping me learn how to work. The acute equipment and if I need any questions, they were super nice in responding.. i had so much fun taking photos.And it went by super fast. Once I was done I was able to look at all my photos. I came here for my birthday with 3 of my friends. They started us right on time, showed us how to use the equipment and got everything set up so we could get going. I selected a pink backdrop and it came out really well. They had lots of props to use- boas, flowers, stools, blocks, and even a fan! We took advantage of all of them. We ended up needing an additional 10 minutes which we were able to purchase as an add on. We also had them edit the sizing half way through, and took some closer up. Stephanie was so accommodating and helpful to me, although the lab was closing she still helped me out knowing that I was a business startup needing quick headshots. First time here and so I was kind of shy and nervous about it all at first but the rooms are private and no one judges you. The setup is super simple, they hand you a remote and you can click it or have a delay on it. They were really helpful with rearranging the camera if you wanted some closer up images. I would recommend maybe bringing some inspo photos on your phone for posing ideas or a friend who can help because I ran out of ideas. But the pics came out nice with good lighting. The guide was really helpful, and if we wanted to change the angles, we just told the front desk, and they came right over to help us out. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to take easy, professional photos! We did the 50-minute photo shoot for $160, but they also have a shorter option for 25 minutes for $80. Absolutely the best experience! The self-serve equipment was super easy to work with, and the lighting was perfect -- the quality of the photos came out amazing. The space comfortably fit the three of us, plus two others who helped with outfit changes and posing. One small tip: it can get a little warm inside, so if you're prone to sweating, I recommend bringing a handheld fan just in case. The FotoLab staff was amazing! The photobooth setup was simple yet very effective! The pictures were crystal clear and I also enjoyed us being able to see the preview of our previous picture. For a proper critique, for those that don't have poses ready to go, they should have some good examples of poses inside of the booth room. Had a great time taking photos here! the staff was very helpful and courteous and I was taking pictures in no time! I loved the fact there were different colors for backgrounds and prompts to sit/lean on and use in the photo. I accidentally booked the color room when I wanted a white background and the staff found a way to fit me in on the white background as soon as they could.
