We first hired A&A for our daughter's wedding 19 years and had a great experience working with them. My daughter and son-in-law absolutely loved their wedding video and it still brings us to tears whenever we watch it. They did a beautiful job capturing all the precious moments from their wedding events. When we began planning our son's wedding this past year, we knew we wanted to hire A&A again and we are so happy we did! This review was long pending. I was waiting for all the materials to be delivered to be proven otherwise, but NO! I can't go and get married again, but I would advise all the upcoming couples to carefully consider this review before choosing A&A for your big day. Also please note that the team that handles office affairs are unresponsive until you beg them a couple of times or directly loop in Imran. That's when you get a proper response. Positives: 1. The videographer assigned to my venue for pre wedding festivities and also the reception did a fantastic job at covering some candids and angles. We can see his good work in the full video as well. 2. The team was on time at all our venues for all our events. 3. Sameer did a decent job with both of our individual portraits and family portraits. Not up to our expectations: 1. Poor coverage of traditional south Indian wedding. There were absolutely no angles covered except for the front angle. I have attended a lot of Indian weddings, the photo crew, at least 1 photographer and 1 videographer, are always on the stage, covering different angles, since the couple are not always seated facing the crowd. I am extremely disappointed at how this turned out. My husband and I signalled at the photographers to come on the stage and cover the events. They did not come on the stage despite our multiple attempts of trying to get them to cover different angles. Finally, for the saptapadi, I remember my brother in law explicitly calling them over since it was facing a different direction. 2. Mirror shots are tasteless in the highlight videos This again ties back to point 1, since the team has not covered different angles, they have used mirror shots in our highlight video. Which means all the traditions done in the right hand show up as done on the left side, this is not how we want to showcase our wedding traditions to the world. 3. Poor coverage in the live streaming. This was an ABSOLUTE DISASTER!!! I remember having very specific discussion on this multiple times. Our wedding was happening in the US due to covid related travel restrictions. Video streaming was extremely important for us to share our wedding with our family members around the world. We were promised a flawless coverage and we paid extra for this service. The video streaming as you can see is A DISASTER. Even with stellar internet connection, the footage was poor, it was lagging in multiple places. And in places where it did work properly, the coverage was extremely poor. Instead of covering the events taking place, the camera was fixated at the stage where there was no activity going on! Extremely disappointed at the money and time wasted on this. 4. Poor coverage the Baraatt Entry We had informed the team multiple times about the Baraat entry in helicopter. We had even conveyed the timings and location the day before. We spent a ton on this and the coverage is extremely disappointing especially when the Baraat arrived at the wedding venue. Our friends with iPhone have done a better job at capturing this for us. 5. Certain crew members either lack training or pre-occupied with other things My husband's Haldi event was not covered as expected. Camera and videography was fixated in one angle and we have no visibility into who's performing the rituals. Main photographer at my event was always on his phone, couple of my friends had to nudge him to take photos from different angles. I remember calling you and talking about it, right after my Haldi event as well. Highlight video was hastily done picking up random shots from random timings. There is no proper story lining to the highlight video. I expected way better here. Even after suggesting some changes, helicopter video and bidai video has just been stuck in there hastily. Some of the raw videos were much better than the ones chosen for highlights. Overall, I am pretty disappointed with the experience and correspondence with your team.Would not recommend the business to any of my friends getting married in Houston area. read more

I can't believe I'm just now writing this review. I did not like our wedding photographs mainly because the photographer forgot about the time and had to take our photos in the dark outside the hotel! I didn't leave a review about this then, but when showing my daughter our wedding album after 10 years, the album's bind is badly falling apart despite it in the cloth and box! Booking A&A was the second best decision I had made after saying yes to my husband! As soon as I got that ring, the first message was the them. Right away I received a response and scheduled a call with Imran. He was very professional, quick to respond, and patient with all our annoying questions. After booking them ( unlike some of my other vendors forgetting about us ), Imran still helped us out with other vendor processes also. When it came time for our engagement photoshoot, we met with Sonia who hyped us up, since we felt very nervous about it. She gave us some great ideas and tips to ensure a successful yet smooth photoshoot. Due to some other vendor issues, they allowed us to re-do the photoshoot. They were very understanding with the entire situation. A&A really cares for their bride and grooms' satisfaction, unlike other companies out there. My amazing team, where do I even begin? A side note, we have been to several family and friends weddings, and we have never seen people so passionate, down to earth, and enthusiastic as these two. We felt awkward during the shoots, and they helped us feel relaxed and gave us the confidence we needed. They truly wanted to make our video and photo the best of 2020. If I had to choose one word to describe our experience with A&A as our wedding videographer, the first one that comes to mind is 'phenomenal'. This company is beyond comparison when it comes to superb quality, in both their product (multiple cinematic production quality videos) and their service (a team of experts who stayed highly engaged every step of the way) Our wedding was a complex, busy 4-Day event Washington DC, and Imran sent a fully equipped crew of experts that landed and hit the ground running. A special shout out to the dream team that we had the pleasure of working with -- Tony, Gaurav, and Victor. These guys tag-teamed throughout all our events and did a real stellar job. Worth noting is how much their team made us feel at ease while they did their work and delivered their A+ quality product. I was a HUGE fan of this company for several years before I even got engaged. However, this experience has lead me to not recommend this company to anyone. I'm writing this review (my first review ever) because I believe all brides should know what to expect when working with this company. THIS IS AN EMAIL I SENT TO THE COMPANY AFTER MY EXPERIENCE. I never received a call from the owner, as requested, and was given 4 extra copies of my DVD, which they assumed was enough after I asked for a $1,000 refund. Once they get your money, they provide zero customer service. EMAIL: We have received our photos and videos from our wedding on June 14, 2014. However, this is after a very disappointing and frustrating experience with ANA and 1Cinema. I am emailing you in expectation that this is shared with the owners of the company. Also, due to the time, effort, patience and frustration it took to follow up and wait on my photos and videos, I am asking for a partial refund of $1,000. I have outlined a timeline of what has occurred below. I was originally told my photos would be ready 6-8 weeks after my wedding and that my video would be ready 16-18 weeks after my wedding. Please note that during this time I did not receive one phone call from ANA or 1Cinema letting me know that my photos or videos were taking longer than expected or to apologize for the inconvenience. I was left having to call or email for updates. The excuses I received multiple times were: June was a very busy time for us (as a wedding photography company, you should know June is a busy time and set expectations more appropriately), a key individual was on vacation (this should not affect my experience), a key individual was on a two-week long photo shoot (again, not something that should affect my experience). At one point, I was also explained the many different phases my video had to go through (all which should have been completed during the time I was told it would take to be completed). · June 14 - Our wedding · July 10 (4 wks) - Emailed requesting a status of my photos - no answer received. · Aug. 12 (9 wks) - Emailed again to request a status of my photos - no answer received. · Aug. 18-22 (10 wks) - Called the office and asked about the status of my photos. I was told they would be ready next week, already 2 weeks later than expected. · Aug. 25 - 29 (11 wks) - Called the office and was told my photos were still not ready, but that they should be ready next week, 3 weeks later than expected. · Aug. 29 (11 wks) - After not hearing back, I called the office and asked to speak with a manager. Brenda called me back that night and I expressed my frustration to her. Brenda was very accommodating and worked overtime on a Friday night to finalize my photos. · Aug. 30 (11 wks) - I picked up pictures, 11 weeks after wedding. After a slightly frustrating experience with my photos, I was sure my experience would be better with my video. Unfortunately, it only got worse from here. · Oct. 15 (18 wks) - After not hearing from them, I emailed Brenda requesting an ETA on my video. Brenda forwarded my email to Victor, who responded and said my video is expected to be ready on Oct. 31, which was already 2 weeks late. I responded and asked if this could be expedited, and after several delays, Victor responded on Oct. 24 and said the expected date was still Oct. 31 and he would call when it's ready. · Oct. 30 (20wks) - Since I had not received a call, I emailed Victor asking for a status update, expecting it to be ready the next day, as I was told. · Oct. 31 (20 wks) - Victor responded and said the producer had been out of town and has not burnt the DVD. Victor said my video would not be ready that day. He also said "we will give you a call soon". I'm not sure what he meant by "soon", but I never received a call until my video was ready more than four weeks later. · Nov. 10 (21 wks) - Since I had not heard from them for two weeks, I called the office to request a status. I was told that it would be ANOTHER two weeks. After being told that my video would be ready 2 weeks PRIOR, this was very frustrating. I was also given excuses like "it was a busy time", "someone is out of town" and "someone is on a shoot". · Nov. 24 (23 wks) - Since I still had not heard from them for another two weeks, I called the office to request a status update. I explained the runaround I had experience and requested that my video be ready by Thanksgiving. I was told that this shouldn't be a problem. · Nov. 26 (23 wks) - After not hearing from them by Thanksgiving, I called the office and asked to speak with the owner of the company since no one seemed to be able to help. I was told that my message would be given to the owners, but never received a call. · Nov. 29 (24 wks) - I received a call from the receptionist and an email saying my video was ready, 24 long weeks after my wedding. read more

This review is long overdue. I thought I could let this problem go but I just went back to watch my wedding video and the feeling of rage came over me again. We booked after seeing A&A at the wedding extravaganza and my husband was so impressed. Now watching the video again I think a high school journalism student could have surpassed the quality of the film we got. You are asked to submit music you want to go with the video as I did so in no particular order. In our video there is just clips of the wedding day with music dubbed over it. To top it of, there is fast music where there should be slow and where there is slow music people are dancing to faster music! I should have complained earlier but I was in school and to get the time of day for people of this company to sit down with you is like trying to pull teeth. I got my DVD in a regular plastic dvd case, nothing spectacular and no one ever sat down with me to make sure I even loved it Save your money and go with a smaller company that actually see you as individuals with a momentous occasion versus company who sees you as a chore checked off their to do list. This is a small business started by a group of brothers. I think they do videography only, but that subcategory wasn't available. Yelp should have some kind of wedding vendor category! I really could've used that instead of scanning sites like The Knot Houston, calling places, and getting references, which are going to be wholly positive if they're given from the company. But I digress. I learned of them at a friend's wedding in which I was a bridesmaid. The videographer worked alone and with a second cameraperson during the ceremony. They left an impression on me because the videographer single-handedly came to the 5 days of South Asian wedding events (which the hired photog didn't) and he learned and remembered so many people's names--there were 8 bridesmaids, 16 groomsmen alone and he remembered my fiance's name. Later, I learned they were voted best videographer in Houston by The Knot. Doesn't surprise me! Needless to say, I had to check them out for my own wedding. Call/email to set up an appointment. They have a slick presentation. The camerawork is very smooth and you can see how they've invested money in fancy software to help them retouch/edit videos to make color pop out of a black and white sequence and brighten colors in general. They are incredibly professional. No deposit is required, you can set up your own payment schedule. The bad news was they are pricey. I just wanted a video record of the big event and was not willing to spend this much. The lowest package is $2000 for 6 hours of coverage, 2 cameras pre-ceremony & ceremony, a highlight reel, and 1 DVD with chapters. If you can afford them, hire them! They are awesome and their videos look great. I had originally seen A&A in action at my cousins wedding a few years ago. I instantly fell in love the minute I saw all of her footage. And I completely agree with you that it could've been lot better than it is. I know Mr. Kumar, this was one of your main concerns and it is also hurtful feelings on my end that all our hard work is unnoticed because of the sound issue. As I mentioned earlier, I am extremely sorry for your dissatisfaction but I do want you to know that my team has tried and done every thing in our power to correct the mistake. I want you all to also know because of ******, I wanted to give my best induing quality, discount and personally being there but eventually it didn't end the way I planned, my apologies. As much as it hurts to admit, I have to say there's nothing else more can be done to the sound from what we have already tried with several attempts. Please let me know what else I can do for you. I do want you to know I had done everything for this wedding as if it was one of my personal friend's event and wish the results were different than what it is. Hoping to hear from you soon... Imran was told specifically that the sound need to be captured digitally and not off the air. In spite of the instructions and him being present at the wedding the sound quality is the worst. Ten minutes into the video we end up turning it off. I ask for the full refund and he is turning his face away. Advice to all the new brides. Please do not get fall into his trap of you tube glamor videos. He will not give you that quality. Find some one else. read more

I got a great engagement photo shoot, and the video for my wedding was great! I'm still getting raves over it. We got a package that included the steady cam, which makes for a lot of great shots. Obed caught some really great scenes, and A&A was able to edit a great highlight video. I was also pleasantly surprised at how well the documentary was. After we paid our deposit the scheduler kept changing what we can and cannot do. For everything we wanted they said there will be an enormous charge. A lot of attitude. No customer service m they don't care about their customer. read more
